Hi, I have the ics google's lockscreen with lockscreen rotation on, and when I choose pin or password for unlocking, password textfield and keyboard are invisible in landscape mode, in portrait woks well.
If i change the layout likes android source code (both XML are very similar) i get a soft reboot (sim pin is not needed again).
Editing build.prop for use LG lockscreen app, everything works OK and I've been thinking that if I can refer to the LG application id's maybe could make it work.
What can i do?
Thank you

So this thread in the general section got me interested in seeing what hacks were possible for rotation. Editing the SecPhone.apk enabled rotation for the in-call screen. A simple addition to build.prop permanently enables rotation in the lock screen.
Enabling the launcher to rotate is not too hard to enable but after enabling launcher rotation, the app drawer gets goofed up in a couple ways:
1) If the landscape integers/dimens files aren't adjusted, the default fifth row is cut off, showing only the top few pixels of each icon
2) If the landscape integers/dimens files are adjusted (in my case, to simply have 4 rows and the default 5 columns in landscape mode - the default 5x5 is still in portrait), except that when you rotate the device while in the app drawer, the settings of the first orientation are applied to the new orientation. (When the app draw is entered from either rotation, the proper grid settings are applied.
This is potentially problematic when switching from portrait to landscape. The question is how to have the launcher properly switch to the proper grid settings. I'm sure there is a setting I'm missing, but I don't know what it is.
Anyone have any idea on what I might be doing wrong?
I have this Xperia Z with 4.3, which has a feature built into the lockscreen that allows me to quickly start the camera. I have a dislike for the stock sony camera app but when lauching it thu the lockscreen it disregards the pattern lock, etc.
If I remove/freeze the stock camera and try to launch camera from lockscreen, it starts any alternative camera I have installed (doesnt ask me which to start) but it cannot unlock the phone. It asks for the pattern to be entered, only if I just leave the "swipe" lock enabled, it can skip the lockscreen.
Is there a way to replace this default camera app on the lockscreen to work fully, i.e. automatically unlock the phone, but with limited features enabled (no gallery etc).
Is there a way to have the numerical keypad on the lockscreen randomize the position of the numbers everytime you open it?
Well? The lack of shortcuts is killing me but no xposed module I've tried seems to help...any suggestions?
Serjar (or whatever)'s Xperia Xposed makes it work. You can't change the shortcuts though and it only has vibrate mode and google now.
If on Android kitkat you could try gravity box and adding more shortcuts under the navigation ring settings. You won't be able to directly change the lockscreen but if you add more shortcuts to the navigation ring you can access them on the lockscreen by holding down on the camera shortcut. It's weird but it worked for me since I missed using cm's lockscreen.
So Im trying to personalize the lgg5 current lockscreen(i wwould like to have a kind of iphone lock screen, i like how they show you notifications) i found a nice one on play store actually that is Next, i like it, the problem its that i have that lockscreen and the system lockscreen on background, so when I unlock Next lockscreen, i have to unlock System lockscreen after. With fingerprint it works good because it unlocks both lockscreen at the same time. But i would like to have only one lockscreen enabled, i can do this actually with Next but i lose fingerprint option(beacause you only can enable this with other lockscreen option for backup)
I dont have root experience but, it is possibly to modify lockscreen with root? Or it exist another lockscreen app that someone of u uses that doesnt have this issue?
