[Q] Cannot change bootloader huawei u8230 - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, I cannot change the bootloader of the huawei u8230 android 2.1 A1 branded, carrier lock unlocked.
I was able to install z4root.apk and was able to get temporary root with the following command
Adb shell
Su
#
Then I tried to install recovery-clockwork-3.1.0.1-u8220.img
with install-recovery-windows.bat
and with fastboot command Fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-3.1.0.1-u8220.img
but both did not work, the bootloader is still the original.
What can I do to change the bootloader?
Do I need permanent root? How to I get permanent root?
Please help
Thanks

wrong combination of keys

[Q] Cannot get in Bootloader

I have a Point of View PROTAB 3XXL. I am trying to flash a boot.img, without reason 'cause I just want to experiment with my tablet. But the problem is that I can;t get in bootloader/fastboot mode! I can get into recovery by using vol +/power. But I just can't manage to get it in bootloader.
I tried this:
vol -/power : just boots device
vol -&+/power : doesn't boot it at all
adb reboot bootloader : same as above; nothing at all. First have to reset before I can turn it on.
adb reboot-bootloader : "" ""
Quickboot Bootloader option : "" ""
I dont have any options left :'( so does anyone have an option or solution?? Is it possible that my POV just doesn't have a bootloader.
T.I.A.!!!

Stuck with bootloop

I installed the android 10 update bit suddently when i rebooted it got on bootloop. I tried to go recovery and format it but it dodnt worked. Tried using mi flash but nothing happens. There is any way that i can unlock bootloader? (Cant boot and unlock oem)
Use the following codes on the adb after entering fastboot mode
First enter fastboot mode by pressing power and volume down until fastboot mode starts(about 10 sec)
Then enter the code
1) fastboot flashing unlock ( press enter)
2)fastboot --set-active=a (press enter)
Then run mi flash tool. Your phone should start.
Doesn´t work because the phone is locked and i can´t unlock it because don´t boot. That´s the problem.

Since your bootloader is locked and this loop occurred while officially updating you could claim the warranty and they will fix your phone for you.

Facing issue while unlocking bootloader in Gionee P5L

Hi, I'm Apurba
I have an old Gionee P5L
I want to become a super user, so I want to root the device, but first I've to unlock it's bootloader.
I tried many ways, I used Bugjeager android application, ADB commend and many more windows tools.
In most case I followed the following commands…
fastboot devices
fastboot oem unlock
after that I got a confirmation on my Gionee P5L device about unlocking the bootloader, and I selected YES using the volume and power key.
after that I got this things…
Select boot mode:
VOLUME_UP to select. VOLUME_DOWN is OK
Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode <
Normal Boot
but in here power & volume keys are not working, I can't move the arrow and can't select anything using
Anyone have any idea about this?

Question Recovery Mode from Power Off

I am unable to boot into recovery when the power is off with volume down + power on, it just boots in to bootloader.
I always have to connect to pc and do a fastboot reboot recovery.
Is there any other way or am I doing something wrong?
I have the same problem. I have the nord2 (eu) version and I have installed the Indian version of Android 12. After this procedure I can't enter fastboot mode either with the key combination or with the adb commands. Furthermore, the possibility to install packages has disappeared from the bootloader, I can only delete the data or restart the smartphone.

Fastboot/Bootloader mode inaccessible to root ZTE Blade a5

Hello i wanted to ask about this since i dont see any other thread related to my issue, im trying to install magisk root and im at the stage of accessing fastboot/bootloader, when i go to recovery mode and select "reboot to bootloader" it just restarts the phone, i have tried adb commands didnt work either, same result, just restarts. The "unlock oem" option under developer options is enabled, i could flash another firmware of the same phone with SPD upgrade tool and its still not letting me get into bootloader, (to do this i must press down vol down and connect the usb while the program is on, and it is detected, otherwise it just restarts adb and fastboot tools will not detect it as download mode) any idea or suggestions on how I could root the phone, been thinking about twrp but not sure it would let me install that, looked into many pages about rooting this device and none show anything related maybe its not possible, i saw there are phones with blocked bootloader. the phone is android 9
Have you tried to
- flash the boot.img from the stockfirmware;
- install a recovery (twrp, orangefox, etc.) and rebooted to fastboot from recovery?

TWRP and orangefox dont support my phone, there may be something unnoficial for twrp as i search and im not sure i can flash the phone with a specific boot file since to flash i use a single .pac file that contains the rom ill look into this
For now im not able to flash the phone with custom boot.img or recovery.img maybe i need to pack specific files i dont know about i give up for today
Sorry to hear that...
Have you tried the following command?

Have you tried the method in the following page?
Hold volume up & power buttons. Otherwise, try volume down & power buttons.
