Wiped Internal SD card - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

help! I accidently wiped everything on my phone so now I only have access to the recovery and fastboot. I understand that there is no RUU but i read that I can flash a rom thru cmw or flash a stock nandroid. problem is however I tried the tutorials and guides to do so and it always fails. If anybody has a step by step tutorial it will be greatly appreciated,

Edit: nvm got it up & working again!

Did you do a reset from recovery? How did you get it working?

Wiped Internal
I also need help with this same problem. If you have fixed this problem then you should post how you fixed it. I sideload a rom because it's the only way I can get a rom onto the phone, but it just boot loops. Really need some help.
Thanks

you can always boot to recovery and adb push a rom to the sd card and install it.

PLEASE REPLY Stuck in recovery!!!!

OK so Im on AOKP milestone 6 with the devil kernel and i went in to recovery to wipe cache and dalvik cache and when i pressed reboot system it goes back to recovery!!!! please help as I really don't want to reflash everything!!! Thanks.
I had this same problem until I flashed TWRP. When I rebooted, it instead loaded the OS, but it still had Devil Recovery. WTF?
Have you tried re-flashing the rom without wiping data?

Try flashing CWM recovery again using Heimdall or Odin. Once it boots into recovery, flash TWRP or another recovery of your choice, then reboot and hopefully you will see your boot animation. That's what I did to get AOKP build 40 to boot again (though strangely enough, it's stuck with Devil recovery even after flashing TWRP). Hope this helps you guys out. And be sure to make backups!

Again, how can i put twrp on my sd card if i'm stuck in recovery? Is there a link for an odin version of twrp
You should be able to mount your SD card in recovery anyway. If not, take it out and insert it into an adapter to plug into your computer. I don't know if there's an Odin version of TWRP, I flashed it in CWM recovery.
I would read droid styles guide first if you have not yet as it has all the answers you will need. You just need to read through it and following the directions.

how do i mount my sd card and open it on my pc in recovery?
If you're using CWM, it's under Advanced or Mounts and Storage. Plug in the USB cable like you normally would.

I try to install twrp but it says installation aborted. I'm really starting to get sick of this phone and its stability issues.
You got the zip, right? It's in the Fascinate development section of the forums.
There is nothing wrong with the phone. I don't understand why you can't just Odin back to stock and start over. With the amount of time you have been stuck in recovery you could have fixed it by now. It you could follow droid styles guide to get out of the recovery loop without going back to stock. Something tells me you really just want a new phone...am I close???

Don't you belong in a different section?
Anyway, sorry for getting snippy, I was just really tired and frustrated. I did use the .zip from the forums.
If you've already tried Heimdall-flashing CWM again, and that didn't work, then I suggest you Odin back to stock as shelby suggested. If you haven't made a nandroid already, do so, then revert back to stock and start from scratch. You can try restoring your nandroid once you're no longer stuck in recovery.

I have a mez and I just got the sgs3 a little while ago. You need to check out section 8 or 9 I think of the guide. It tells you exactly how to get out of your situation.

There's also a topic about the "three-finger recovery boot loop" fix. You could try that.

[Q] help thunderbolt wont install from recovery or format system

hi sorry if this is already out there been searching for 4 hours now i went to restore my rom from 4ext and it never went to the rom it just keep loading now i seen it say system is in safe mode and to format it did that and rebooted recovery now after a hour of trying i switched to cwm recovery and now it does the same i go into it and after i format or try to install the phone reboots and trys to load but no rom is on it to do that now idk if anyone can help but please if you can guide me around this problem thank you and this is my first post and first time ever stuck
Can't tell you the exact steps, but.... If you can copy a new ROM to the sd card, can you flash that in recovery? Or, you may have to go back and flash a stock RUU via hboot and re-root. Those are a couple of emergency steps I've had to do in the past.

Are you using format all except SD card in 4ext? Cwm will not format boot or system partitions.
Sent from my Thunderbolt using Tapatalk 2
I did do that in 4ext and soon as it started it would reboot then try to boot up finally had to use a ruu and start all over and it worked thanks for all the help and earlier when I tryed a ruu it would fail but finally worked

[Q] Bricked! Help!

Hey all
My phone was working great, everything smooth and awesome, but then i turned it off, and boot loop.
I tried reflashing my ROM, (ARHD) But that didn't work
Help!!
Have you tried looking at any of the solutions listed in any of the other hundreds of "Bricked" threads?
Obligatory "search" is your friend statement. If you can get into fastboot, if you can get into recovery, you're not bricked. Restore from your NAND backup, or flash your ROM again.
Like unremarked said, your best weapon is the search box
So you have:
1. Booted to recovery successfully?
2. Already tried flashing your ROM via TWRP/CWM?

Help. Trapped in cwm startup recovery.

Hello,
Yesterday, when trying to create a backup of my current ROM (original, factory ROM) it seems that after the backup process was finished, when I tried to reboot my phone it would go directly into cwm recovery instead of starting up normally. This happens every time I try to reboot the phone. I have a Samsung Exhibit sgh-t599n (metro pcs).
Other things that may be revelant to my problem: the backup was not successful (there was a message saying something about an image not being copied). Also, in the cwm recovery menu there is a warning that says "No file_contexts".
I would appreciate any help you could give me.
Thank you

Thanks

Okay so you do know how to get into Odin. Try flashing a different custom recovery. Also make sure the one you are using is made for your device. There aren't any recoveries that are universal with 1 file. Just make sure the one you are using is for your phone!

But in order to reflash do I have to take the same steps that I took for flashing cwm or do I have to do something different (delete cache, reformat phone, etc.). Sorry for the insistence.

I don't do much with odin since i dont ever have any issues with my recovery but all you should have to do is install the recovery just like you did the first time. Also if you are following a guide to do this make sure you are checking the right options!
Also not all odins are compatible with all devices. Make sure the odin you are using is for your device!

-I was able to flash a custom ROM (compatible, PAC rom); however, the problem persists. Every time I boot the phone it takes me directly to cwm recovery.
I was able to find these instructions (thanks to thereal_big jake from androidarea51.com) for solving a problem very similar to mine:
1.Flash Stock Recovery in Odin Link
2. Factory Reset in Stock Recovery
3. Flash CWM in Odin
4. Now Flash your Rom or Backup
5. Reboot
Could somebody explain how to flash the stock recovery with odin in my phone (samsung exhibit sgh t599n).
Thanks
