Do u have to flip the switch to view 3d pictures and videos? Or is the switch just to take the pictures and videos?

That's just for taking pictures and videos, although sometimes when you try to view a 3D video in the gallery, you have to press menu-view in 3D

I have noticed something odd today when I try to play an HD video that has been uploaded to Facebook. I took an HD video with my Rezound and when I view it in the gallery, the HD quality is there. Once I uploaded to Facebook and view it using Facebook's app on the Rezound, the video is poor quality. When I view the same video on Facebook using my laptop, the video is in HD. Anyone have ideas or noticed anything similar?

I think that has more to do with Facebook then the phone?

That's what I thought at first and then my brother was able to bring it up on his Nexus using his Facebook app and it was in HD.

I know this feature comes stock on some phones but is there an camera app that lets you snap a picture while recording video?

Thanks.
Isn't it easier record a video and capture a frame after?

If you just screen shot during a video, its a lower resolution. I too am interested in this. There was a Rom on my inspire that let me do it.

I uploaded directly to YouTube from my S5, and it looks awful. In gallery, it looks great. I recorded it in 1080P. I made sure HD was on in YouTube, and I searched the settings high and low for a quality setting, but nothing. What gives??

How horrible? It won't look as good as on your phone because YouTube compresses everything and is limited to 30 fps

There's definitely a big difference. I played it back on my phone and TV and it's not nearly as good as the original quality

I uploaded a video on Facebook that looked like crap.

Idk about other places but I do believe you have to wait for HD when uploading to youtube. Since they process every video so it can play in 240p all the way up to whatever resolution you upload at.
