Hello I have Xperia salts. I uploaded jb from munjeni and eXperience Innovation from Divaksh.
my question is what the manager processor do you recommend?
the governor performence actually adversely affects the phone, and may damage it?
is it harmful? what settings do you recommend? also complain about a small amount of RAM? I only have a few applications and free memory fluctuates around 100mb :-/

As much as a remember munjeni said in the past that the best governor for JB is interactive, so if he put Sliding he can use interactiveX which is even more battery friendly.

FAQ.
My Benchmarks Are Low Does That Mean It's Slow
No it dosnt it may or may not be faster that other kernels i guess you have to try yourself
Why 2.3GHz O/C
Just Because i can the option is there it only uses 25mv more than 2GHz so its not that much dangerous
I have less ram then other kernels
This is due to the 8MB VRAM
Does The 8MB Vram Make A Difference
Well For me it does but it may be a placebo Effect

Stock partition layout, so 420mb of /data
Talked to you in PM about this kernel last week, great to see it finally here. Now if only I could find a zeusc GB rom worth its salt. Oh how I wish Gin2Jellybean worked for us CDMA guys. That 2.3GHz overclock with the available RAM on 000p would be more than enough to make up for the high VRAM. This kernel's speed is making me drool. Anyone care to post their AnTuTu numbers? I'm thinking of installing a beater rom just to check it out.
do this work for Neo L?? I mean that it has no landscape problem??
Can someone tell me, how to overvoltage the CPU?
Everytime i try it, every App tell me, you can't undervolt the CPU and then i can't use the Voltage menu.

Thanx man, i cant use it now as i have more apps than the stock locked partition, but i will when it gets the partition bump!
Ohh! Great! Only I have a few questions before installing! @extremetempz
1) I can install any of these kernel's over full v12 GB lupus?
2) these kernel's development are in face? or are completely stable for daily use & play hard??
3) as I enter CWM or TMPR these kernel's???
Thanks in advance ...
wow..great to see this. this mean DXENGINE is stopped?
can you post some antutu scores in any GB rom you have tested this kernel? thanks.
DXEngine is not stopped - it's just own Justin's project, DXE is another especially for DiXperias . We just need more time, soon community will see some news about DX projects . Be patient friend!
This is going to end bad, 2.3ghz overclock is defintely not stable nor safe. My computer has 3.3ghz cpu no way in how would i overclock that to 6.9ghz (double + 0.3ghz).
Either way great work, Wouldn't recommend it though.
I disagree. Those who's Xperia's can't take it will simply freeze and the person can step it down from there. Those who's Xperia's can handle it, will rock AnTuTu hard. All of our CPU's are binned differently. My TouchPad goes notoriously higher than production kernels allow for, as did my Palm Pre.

i ve said that on previous DX ENGINE kernel..i highly suggest to reduce to 1.6 and no gpu OC..less experienced users may have their devices burned..and antutu doesnt mean that much..its just a test to get an idea..not to beat a world score..we have a xperia play, not a xperiaZ.
but great work from OP and please be carefull at higher OC.:good:
But hey:
-first, it's extremetempz projects, so even his nick is extreme, then ExtremeKernel should be extreme right? lol
-second, DXEngine with upcoming stuff for both GB and JB will be more battery friendly, without lags caused by GPU OC and optional high CPU OC, but no need to use it, right? We need support hardcore people too, so everyone will be happy then ;>.

of course DikeJ..no doubt about it..i agree. support for all users, even so as many users use xperia play only for gaming (most r800x users sure)..but it wont hurt a little note from OP next to extreme versions, just a little idea, nothing more.
and im really waiting for DX ENGINE for JB..
someone who is using this kernel I could say whether it is stable or not for everyday use? and such is its performance? @ DiKeJ, if not overlockeo my device, is safe to use this kernel for daily use & hard gaming???
Thanks in advance ..

PS: I wanted to know too, if I install the 000P version, I can play videos??? the camera does not matter, but if you play videos .
It's not my project so I can't tell you any affects on gameplay or so, but I'm sure Justin extremetempz made such a masterpiece that you don't need to worry about any problems - just be clever and do not OC too much .
PS: I dunno about videoa but in fact, only recording sources was deleted in 000p, so playing should be....good. Don't know though, wait for OP Dev reply ^^.
Cheers!

Its about a MOD for performance, go to the actual thread for more details ....( link is mentioned )
Some nice little enhancements, especially notable when scrolling large websites.
And funnily it fixed the 30-10% battery drop bug for me, now at 21% which so far i had never seen
Anyways I downloaded the pure performance from the devs website and here wat I found. Before whenever I used to reboot the device it woulfd eat up 10% of charge but after i flashed pure performance the device only showed me a decrease of only 2%of battery. The antutu scores shaked me as before I would only get a score of 11051 but after flashing these I got a score of 13942. The ui became even smoother andsmoother faster. 1080p video scrolling became flawless. 2g internet boosted up suddenly. I would surely recommend this to every user. Thanks to the dev to develop such a nice mod and to androidpratik to discover it

Review
I flashed this MOD and these r changes I observed ...
1) The phone is now super smooth
2) Battery drain from 30% to 10% was fixed
3) Boots faster
4) 2G net is faster...3G speeds also improved, wifi performance was same though.
5) RIPTIDE GP 2 loaded faster than ever XD, no lags, smooth game play.
6) Antutu benchmark hits almost 14000 :fingers-crossed: ( I want 30000 :crying: )
7) The colors look just a bit more vivid ( may be some bias here, NEEDS TO BE VERIFIED )
8) Stainby time seems to have increased ( only 1% drain in 8 hours 30 mins with airplane mode on)
Whats the procedure? Simply flash or any wiping to be done before?
Sent from my A116 using xda premium
1)Make a full backup.
2)Flash it
3)Reboot...no need to clear or anything else.

Internet would be very fast, they said. But my laptop could no longer connect to internet through tethering, they never said. The performance rise was negligible as i never needed a boost in the first place. I hope it gets better in the future..
You have a tethering issue too? Me too. I thought it was of the rom that im using. Lemme see. Ill try contacting the orginal author.
@androidpratik no. I didnt notice any such difference. But that might be due to me not looking for such a thing before. Hmm.

So.... Teathering issue huh? But what might be the cause can u guys please verify the bug by restoring and checking ? Coz I have no device here to use tethering ...

Tried this mod.
Performance is good but you will have to brace yourself as I dont think its a completely tested mod. Sim card contacts do not show up. Had to download sim contacts manager from playstore.
Bottomline: Would NOT recommend any friend to try this.

Also wanted to point out that the battery drain is very very very noticable. I saw the battery percentage drop by 8% within 10 minutes while browsing using wifi.
Help me
Guys help me i also face the tethering issue.
And another problem i installed C4 Rom and also pure performance along with it. Then i once again reflashed the C4 Rom now will pure performance still be installed or not. How do i check if its installed or not?

Note : I'm just sharing the work of the XDA Member Jeeko. This mod was tested on rooted stock Android 4.1.2. It also could be used on some other roms and phones. ( I also used it on my motorola Atrix HD). This MOD makes my phone way more responsive and smooth than a lot roms. Now I have a smooth, nice, good battery LGOG!
You are welcome to use it on your rom after nandroid backup! Please read the whole thread!

I am using the stock version now ( for rooted stock rom only). For other rom you could use CM version. But please read the original thread first!

everything you've always wanted from a performance engine, but you never dared to ask
__________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ _______________
Here I am back with another mod of the Pure™Series.
After improving the system sound quality and graphics, it is time to improve Android. But be careful! This is not the usual performance engine which adds only script in the / init.d folder,
This time will be improved the android system at 360°! Basically this engine is a collection of concepts of all performance engine of the forum, that none of us will ever be able to install because many would conflict.
My testers were stunned by the power of this engine, but why not try it yourself? Are you ready to receive scary performances, to blow up the AnTuTu score counter?
Well, talk about serious stuff

◢ Compatibility ◣
This engine works on any devices with any rom, but there is a version for CM's rom and one for stock based firmwares. So, CMx.x, Lewa Os, MIUI, etc.
Install the stock version only on your stock firmware of your phone....
if your device don't have gingerbread or ICS officially, install the CM version (This also applies to the AOSP)
Wish i had balls to flash it on slimkat 1.95 4.4.2 haha if anybody tested it please post your reviews here i may give it a shot when i get home :highfive:

What I do is make a nandroid backup in twrp first, then flash the version for my rom. For you would be the cm version.
If anything goes wrong, you could always restore your backups.
For me, I found stock rom is faster then PA Rom. After flashing this mod, the stock Rom is at least as fast as PSX. ( I have two LGOGs for now to compare )

I am trying to collect some balls to flash this , since in past two weeks my phone has gone through 3 times LGNPST , 8 times ROM install and several nandroid restoration and backups.
I am on stock rom 4.1 JB , rooted and unlocked. I am using Android Tweaker pro. edition , it has similiar tweaks to this , like Bravia Engine , and Network tweaking , etc.
Would you suggest to try this over the Android Tweaker , becaue it seems tooo tempting to me. I will see if I can Backup the current rom again , and try this.
I also have to try the camera mod , too. Which I saw in Nexus 4 sections . Editing media_profiles.xml .
Will report tommorow , if things go allright.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
BTW , I just want to confirm that there ae no scripts in this , which will force the hardware beyond it's normal /stock range , right ??

@Rishi. I know all that troubles in flashing roms. At the very beginning I also go through LGNPST several times. After all those effort, PSX and stock are my personal favorites.
For my device, the only mod for me is this PurePerformance Mod. I haven't try other mods yet. For now, I am happy with this mod in stock rom. I try playing games( temple run, minion run) and browsers ( dolphin browser) , this mod makes performance at least as good as PSX.
One suggestion is after you flash this rom, you might need to reboot several times to let system settled down itself. We all need time to get used to new stuff, so do phones.
I might try the Android Tweaker Mod later on. But could you link the camera mod please? I also want to try
We could just share all the mods that really boot performance and sharp the phone :highfive:

Oh man i wanna flash this on slimakat it become slow and non responsive lately.. you guys are tempting me i guess i will do it on new years eve haha
I am going to do various kinds of benchmarks and post the results on this new year's eve.
I like the stock ROM, but cannot handle the audio latency. Its almost a full second gap between screen and sound. Does this mod address audio latency?

@laofan ,I have taken several benchmark tests and have uploaded them here( in case if you want to include them in OP as a bench). Currently running this mod on stock jellybean with eco-mode and power saving turned off.
Linpack , Vellamo 2 HTML 5 , Vellamo Metal , Quadrant Standard , CPU Prime Benchmark , BenchMark Pi , AntuTu benchmark.
Let me know if someone wants me to test any other benchmarks using this , requests are welcome for those who are looking to try this.
Would appreciate if some one shares their result too.
I use Antutu and It always scores higher then Nexus 4.
What really matters here is I could hardly notice any lag. It just runs so smooth after this mod.
After so many rom flashing on different devices, I found that it is NOT true that the higher android version, the smoother of performance.
There are some roms( even just stock) that are just running so good even they are just lower android. I have two phone right now , Motorola Atrix HD and the LGOG, now both running stock or stock-optimized rom. And right now there is very few roms could compete with them.
For now I am hoping LGOG could get official 4.4 update. otherwise maybe I would wait a few more months to go back to PSX stable.

I use Antutu and It always scores higher then Nexus 4.
What really matters here is I could hardly notice any lag. It just runs so smooth after this mod.

How much do you use to get on Antutu with your OG ? Mine as the pic says , challenges Xperia Z . Very close to it.!!
And yes , it runs very smooth indeed. But the device is already so fast that I just can't differentiate. , Krait S4 pro , Cores are really fast and furious , though a bit power hungry.
Generally the more optimized and stable a rom is the better results it'll have in user experience. I had experienced this phenomenon on my Motorola Atrix too.
And as far as Official 4.4 update goes , I hardly have any faith left in it. PS , I don't like 4.4 looks, I prefer JB's appearance. I would prefer a JB 4.3 rom with positive optimizations of 4.4 .

I like the stock ROM, but cannot handle the audio latency. Its almost a full second gap between screen and sound. Does this mod address audio latency?

Latency with movies is fine. It's games where it kills it.

It is wired. I am playing temple run 2 and minion run now , and my phone has no issue with sound and display.
There is a thread in development section about stock rom, you could try flash that one.
If you don't like stock rom, this mod could also use in other roms. You need to use the CM version for other roms.
Let me know how things goes with you phone.
If you still could not fix it, maybe try contact ATT for a replacment as long as your phone is less than one year old

First, cheers. GOnna try asap
All the best with your kernel, make it a beast
Ayeeeeeeeeee alright, re-opened. Now, Im working blind on this kernel since I only have the 5 and not the 5T. I would enjoy some testers in my telegram group. Heres the link https://t.me/joinchat/FxSOb0RXgohqVWCKPHha5w
As for people who dont want to join the group and be testers, can you test this real quick and tell me if it boots? https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=817906626617958383
Doesnt have any features other than overclock and undervolt, im just seeing if it boots

Well she boots!! I'm 3 min into testing but it looks and feels good. OC frequencies look to stick!! Will continue testing but looks like a winner on OB1 rooted with Magisk 15.3. Nice job Dev!!

After more testing I've noticed the following things...
1) The offscreen gestures may need to be looked at because drawing a V to enable my flashlight didn't work
2) Battery life seems to be substantially less. In 1 hr I lost 7% during idle drain while I was getting ready for work this morning.
3) Everything else seems good to go (wifi, Bluetooth, LTE, OC, etc) all good
Alright here we go. Added the features and it boots. Enjoy kiddos
Volt V1 Is Out!
Includes most if not all of the features listed in op. Cant really remember haha. Been working on 3 kernels today. One issue is that Alucard governor sticks at high frequencies so I wouldnt use that unless youre on a charger all day

Will you have an XDA thread for Volt Kernel on the OP 6 forums, if possible.

Maybe, If I do im not sure how long it will remain active. Right now im just planning on using Singularity, getting overclocking and maybe possibly undervolt working and then ill just publish the commits for everyone to use, theres just a lot going on in life and I don't have the time or energy to maintain a kernel.
