I was recently flashing new roms and it was too tiring sometimes to flash 5 times...
wipe data
format system,data, cache....etc..etc
so i decided to make a single flash wipe all zip
:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
This zip features deletion of following folders and their data
/data
/system
/cache
Dalvik is inside /data so not included it
As my ROM is stable now...test this zip yourself....well there's nothing harmful..i checked script twice
Enjoy:good:
Upload problem?
Very good script, the zip is empty XD

No it's not, the script that does the job is the updater-script.

Just do a factory rest & everything is wiped. System is formated automagically in 99.9% of the ROMs, unless a n00b made those

no.
like jader said, 99% of ROM's updater-script already formats /system before copying files.

In order they to be sure and to make noobs double-do the wiping progress for their security... Or most of the developers have passed that useless instructions to others over time when CWM recovery was on it's early stages and the script was amend and not edify... Good old times... And they never had time to think (yes, no time to think I repeat) of that. Even I when I wipe cache after factory reset, even though I see that CWM says cache wiped, I do wipe again individually and I still wonder why!
There was once something on 9gag.com about this habit. It said : DOES FACTORY RESET, WIPES EVERYTHING AGAIN JUST IN CASE.

like what leajian has said.
just to make sure everything wiped clean, and anyone new to this kind of "flashing" things and don't know how things work didn't do it wrong.
and you know, we are all kind of have that "paranoid" feel.
like "Factory Reset and then still wiping /cache".
and, what you mean by ROM Dev is really a Developer or just someone that theme, putting all tweaks in one ROM, and repack it?
you know what i mean.

first of all, if u did a full wipe..thats a big mistake..and never format /system ,unless specified or asked to.
if u didnt.. maybe try a simple reboot..or reflash rom.
hope this helps

A full wipe isn't a mistake when flashing. On the opposite, it's fully necessary for the new ROM to operate in it's full capacity.
The bar is missing because of a mistake when flashing, or a corrupted file that is used to flash. Try reflashing, or find some other .zip file of the same ROM.

thanks for the advice but I thought it might be interesting to start talking about this application even from my problem with the same ...
Okay this is my own fault but I hope someone out there can help me...
I successfully rooted my .75 Xperia today. But all those custom ROMs got me selfish and I decided to go ahead and patch a custom ROM of eXperience v2.3.. now I did make a backup prior but I foolishly deleted my backed up ROM... Now I messed up while installing ExP and no matter how many times I install it I get a "System UI doesnt work" messsage upon reboot every 2 mins.. and my status bar keeps crashing..
If anyone with Xperia P could upload their backed up .75 ROM.. I'd deeply appreciate it.. or show me a place where I can take my phone back to default "stock and factory condition" because at this point that's all I want..
I'm very freaked out right now and would appreciate some help seriously..
EDIT: Also a default CWM... since that's what i mainly installed and has messed up my system UI.. Help please.
Someone please help... my phone UI keeps crashing...

If you flash the tft with flashtool,it Will wipe everything except sd card.this includes recovery. Everything will be stock. Look in p development for the list of mods compilation stickied at the top of the page.

Hey first of all,do a fresh wipe of the dalvik cache through the recovery. If the problem still persists, then flash the STOCK ICS through SEUS or Flashtool(better).Do not debloat through any software. If you want to,then download the app called 'system app mover' on the playstore(requires root). This should help.
Thanks
Debloating won't cause it. That's for sure.

OK.Well in that case may I know the process which you have used for debloating?I suggest you debloat using the system/app mover app.I think there is some hardware problem then in your device(do the other custom roms cause the same problem?).Or there would be a problem in the simlock.ta.Please try reflashing the simlock.ta partition again through the flashtool.Otherwise follow the method which i told you:
1.Re-install the STOCK rom(obviously ROOTED,done by downgrading to GB and then using 'Xperia-ROOT' for rooting and then upgrading to ICS by flashing the rom with wipe data option disabled.....you may be knowing this.
2.Then use system/app mover and uninstall the system apps you don't want.
I think that should help. However,if you wish to find out as to 'WHY THIS IS HAPPENING IF DEBLOATING IS NOT THE PROBLEM BY YOUR METHOD' i don't have any answer.
I think I helped as much as I could. Please press THANKS if I helped.

Sidd

I don't remember if our mdpi phones had a smarcardservice.apk but this apk is responsible for sim connectivity if I am not wrong..
Sent from my LT26i using xda app-developers app
I used nero-young's script to debloat & selected debloat all
maybe solution..
hey, i had this problem year ago, and the problem was
that my sim was very old and i change it often so something was bricked in sim card and time to time it shows me same message OR thats no connection b'cuz sim was removed
if i had a new sim (same operator/phone/ROM and kernel) this problem was gone....
i'm not sure if this fix ur problem but this is how i fixed....
good luck and best, bejunk
You should try using your phone with someone else's SIM this way you'll know if it come from the SIM or if it's software side.
Thanks all.
I will try all the solutions.

Hey! Thank you so much for the upload!! It's downloading at 1.3MBps. ha n.n Just in time for me that I come here only sometimes!
Although I don't really need it right now I think I'll need it cause I'm going to buy this K900 very soon! I'm actually about to order it today! Is this file the latest ROM?
Do you have the K900? Can you, please, encourage or discourage me about getting it? What do you say? I love its desing and size, and I like it's Intel's chip in it. I've had a Razr i and was great!
I've followed this forum months ago, but have missed all news about this device. Can you tell me if this device will get any update like 4.3 or 4.4? Any good changes in the last months with software updates? I've heard it heated a lot at first. :/
Anything you could tell me about how this device is doing now could help me!
Thank you!

The phone is good. Im very satisfied. There has been rumors that we will get the 4.3 update but not sure when. Yes the phone heats up sometimes but with the latest updates i feel like its gone down tremendously. There is no actual flaw to this phone i really like it. I will be using it until the K910 is officially released in my country. I wanna try an LTE phone lol.

Yes I know its very much "legit" . I had no problem in downloading the file uploaded initially. I will try this soon as my phone is just a week old and just wana make sure everything fine with it as after rooting I will loose its warranty.
Just a single question I have is, when on lock screen I press PIN code the whole screen brightness kinda flicker/brighten up on touch. Is it normal or its only me getting this? Also screen brightness varies while I use the phone!
