RUU Error 131. - HTC EVO 3D

Hi. I downgraded my hboot to 1.49.007 with URT.
Now I can't flash RUU. I have error 131. When I type fastboot oem readcid i have HTC_032, but when I type fastboot getvar cid I get 0202. I'm trying to flash RUU_Shooter_U_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.2_Radio_10.53.9020.00_10.13.9020.08_2M_release_203403_signed and /RUU_Shooter_U_HTC_Europe_1.20.401.8_Radio_10.59.9020.00_10.15.9020.06_M_release_219793_signed. What I have to do?

You have to extract the PG86IMG.zip from the RUU and flash it trough the bootloader.

Revert to hboot 1.40

Hi... I tried to update my firmware last night but ended up with a relocked hboot 1.57 s-off. I could have swore I downloaded Freeza's firmware with hboot removed. After hours of searching here I am. If anyone can help me get back to 1.40 I would greatly appreciate it, really need my phone for work. Thanks
Have you tried this?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1192306
Download the 1.40 Hboot link
then boot into fastboot
then run:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
an HTC screen will appear then run:
fastboot flash zip PG86IMG_1.40-hboot.zip
After it finishes flashing, the console will say it is done but the image on the screen may not complete. I usually wait a bit then run:
fastboot reboot-bootloader
It should reboot and you should see 1.40 again

Unroot help please!!

So I rooted using revolutionary.io tool on hboot 1.40.1100 and now have to unroot it. From what I have gathered the way to do it is to flash the full ruu 1.13.651.7 PG86IMG.zip file through the hboot. Is this right? And if so does anybody have a link to the full ruu zip??
Thanks
Download the appropriate RUU version for your region here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1208485 run the .exe and follow the onscreen instructions.
to change s-off to s-on in fastboot (cmd) type "fastboot write secureflag 3"

[Q] Problem to flash ruu

hi I have an htc evo 3d gsm . i relock with this "fastboot oem writesecureflag 3"
I restored the device whith this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25501212
now the devices , if I plug the cable on pc turns on in fastboot.
HBOOT-1.49.0007
RADIO-11.25.3504_06_M
How do I flash a ruu ?what exactly?
If you have unlocked bootloader you must relock it first to flash ruu. Command for that: fastboot oem lock. After that you should be able to flash ruu.
Command fastboot oem writesecureflag 3 is for making S-on.
dont use that command with unsigned bootloaders or you'll brick your device!

From S-OFF to 100% Stock S-ON Hboot 1.33

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2293919&page=15&nocache=1
Followed the tutorial above to revert back to stock and couldn't get my Hboot to 1.15 and i was stuck on 1.33. Anyway spent some of today and got it figured out and worked 100%.
The problem was step - 3. run the RUU as admin (right click, run as administrator) ** If you get an Image 158 error during RUU, try flashing the stock hboot -SEE POST 4**
1. download 1.15 stock hboot: 1.15 stock hboot MD5: B4B8555C20724E12C3B9D33820746E50
2. Rename stock hboot file to : PL83IMG.zip and place in the folder that contains your fastboot.exe file (On your computer)
3. Flash hboot.
after installation do the following -
adb devices (your device should be listed)
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot devices (your device should be listed)
fastboot oem writecid VZW__001 (2 underscores)
fastboot reboot-bootloader
fastboot getvar cid (verify your stock CID)
fastboot oem writesecureflag 3
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Kept on getting error 158 and couldn't change Hboot so i tried run the command to write the cid "fastboot oem writecid VZW__001" then ran the ruu again and it worked. Its wasn't working because the phone wasn't recognized because of the CID. I couldn't reply in that thread because i don't have 10+ posts. Please hit the thanks button if it works for you as well.
Its my second post so take it easy on me if its been covered already.
Not true. With supercid any RUU can be flashed.
I RUU'd two days ago with supercid. Hboot does need to be stock if using the HTC program to flash.

Changing the cid was only needed for the jtag or face palm methods...

[Q] [ERR] Command error on Re-locked 1.54 HBOOT

I used the RUU to revert completely to stock a couple of weeks ago which reverted my rumrunner unlock and S-OFF to re-locked and S-ON status. Today I tried to gain S-OFF and unlocked so I could flash one of the new sense 6 roms, but I cannot get it to work. I used rumrunner to do it but rumrunner only S-OFF my device. My HBOOT still says relocked. Fastboot is not allowing me to flash a new recovery so I can gain root and I get an error when I try to fastboot oem unlock.
When I flash recovery I get "FAILED <remote: not allowed>" error.
When I try to fastboot oem unlock I get "<bootloader> [ERR] Command error !!!"
If anyone has any solutions to this it would be greatly appreciated.

The solution to this problem can be found here, just install ROM Manager and flash CWR from there. Fastboot commands still don't work however.
