Stock JB, Rooted and unlocked. Any ideas? 2nd time I've had to LGNPST to get it back up.
SOLVED! Installed latest bootloader and now phone will recharge with no issues! Thank Houstonn I got this from one of his RootBox post!
http://downloads.codefi.re/houstonn/lgog/misc/JDQ39_bootloader_only.zip
I noticed wen my bootloaders was unlocked
I was at 61 percent .wen i locked them and rebooted i was at 55 percent .so the logical thing to do is not let it get under 5 percent or u will pay like this guy did .

Hey guys,
I installed Rezrom v3.2 on my Rezound yesterday, and it was stable for the most part until this morning. My phone died last night and even though it has been on the charger all day I can't get it to boot into bootloader. When I try to power it on the phone boots then dies immediately. After that I have to let it sit on the charger for another 10 minutes or so before I can try anything again.
I've tried a battery pull (like 40 times)
Like I said can't boot into bootloader, and as such can't get into recovery.
When I connect it to my computer the computer makes sounds as if hardware has been connected, but it doesn't show up in "My Computer"
Please help
Sounds like a bad battery I would see if you can find a friend with a rez and see if their battery works? Have you tryed booting without the battery in not sure if that works on this phone worked on my evo but that sounds like a battery problem to me

I cant recall exactly, but somewhere on these forums there is a thread or two about this. And they also have exact steps on how to fix it, ive never heard of it with rezrom, but im sure it would be the same solution. I wish i could help more but ill see if i can locate where i found the thread.
It's because of clockwork, it doesn't allow the phone to charge in this state
Your only hope is another battery to get it powered to flash amon ra or a battery charger. I've used my thunderbolt to fix this problem

The recovery won't let it charge but it should still provide power to the phone when pluged into the wall or usb. I have amon ra and I had 2% battery level pluged it in booted to recovery flashed a kernel did the hboot flash rebooted and still had 2% then it started charging so I know the phone recives power in recovery. Besides it will deffinetly charge when it is powered off which he said he tried and still couldnt boot I say bad battery but you could be right mabey it is your recovery

I have had this phone for a while everything was working fine as far as i know its not due to software issue, two days ago i turned on the phone it sudendly started to really heat up quickly i mean fast on the back next to the camera ,not sure why ,so the i noticed i was at 56 percent so i started to charge the battery left it charging after a while i picked up the phone and again it was even hotter after seeing that the battery was at 22 percent i, so i thought ok it was a software issue reflashed the phone as quickly as i could had a spare battery that was fully charged tried putting in that one same thing after the phone Booted up , it started to heat up again getting really hot and still not charging left the cable plugged in all night , in the morning i looked at the phone again the led on top was red turning on and of phone still hot, went to the tmobile store bought a Brand new battery Yes its original htc battery tried charging that one too failed led turns off and off (red color) PLEASE HELP I LOVE THIS PHONE
Did you try turning it off and charging it. The phone won't charge if it's too hot. Led will blink red then green then off

yes i have that did not help it still kept doing the same thing with older battery and newer battery
Don't take this the wrong way, but a little correct punctuation would make reading your super long question easier. Just really hard to follow

What recovery are you using? I've only had that problem when using older CWM recoveries on this phone. Try using 4EXT recovery it resolved all my issues and the developer supports his product.

+1 on checking your recovery. I had this problem when I was using TWRP (or whatever the acronym is) recovery. I switched over to 4EXT and haven't encountered that problem since. To update the recovery you may need to acquire a charged Amaze, HTC Evo 3d, or Sensation battery. :/
It may be the cwm your using

Using cwm here with no problems.

If you have clockwork rec from rom manager, then that is the cause

Mine does this occasionally too, but only when using a USB or car charger never an AC charger. I am also using 4ext touch.

There is definitely something wrong. You need to return everything to stock and call htc.

I think it has to do with the heating this happens when my phone gets to hot I fixed it by flashing the new kernel haven't had a heating problem in a while

Last night I installed 7-22 JB kt Kernel over 7-20 CM 10 (wiped cache, dalvik, and fixed permissions) and had an extremely strange issue. I plugged my phone in and all was good, charging ect. When I went to sleep I had my phone plugged in to charge since battery was quite low. I woke up and picked up my phone to check emails and my phone was off. I booted it back up and noticed I only had 7% left on batt. So I checked battery usage in settings and saw a bunch of spaces like the phone was turned off then back on numerous times (50+ times). and in between restarts were marks on charging bar too. So I went out to do my daily things and charged my phone. (it would only charge to 60%all day) I used my phone alot and the battery died because I was not near a charger. Now phone will vibrate and led will flash but not charge. I cant get into download mode either. I'm hoping its just a glitch with my battery or sonething but I'm getting no response from phone after it vibrates.
Edit: I have ss of battery but cant access phone
U can try zo pull out the bat for at least 10 minutes then insert it back and see if that fixes your issue got that once in the past on my sgs2 while flashing a corrupted 3 part rom and fixed it this way

hi guys, I've got a problem with my my xperia u. it was fine, running the sspeed ka03 rom and sspeed kernel v6.1, but suddenly it shat down and I wasn't able to turn it on, so I plugged it to the charger (not PC) and waited for it to charge. after a while I unplugged it and tried to turn it on but all what I got was the charging led blinking red several times. I charged again and I noticed that it started booting by its own, apparently at random, but it didn't even reach the boot animation, but it was enough to boot the cwm. I did a factory reset and rebooted, this time I reached the lock screen but the battery was 1% and the device shat down immediately. that was the only time that I was able to boot the device completely. now I'm waiting for other random boots to load the cwm and reflash the whole ROM. I'd like to know if this happened to any of you and if you have a solution. thank you very much
I'm Italian and my English is not perfect, so I hope you understand and I apologize for any error.

I won't be at home for about a week, but anyway the charger is working fine with my galaxy nexus and it's external battery charger, and it has been working fine with the xperia til yesterday. however I'll try other charges when I'll be able to.
I actually think that the battery is charged since I've been able to perform a full nandroid backup with the cwm and it surely used more than 1% of battery. so I don't understand what's going on with this device...

send it to the repair center or remove and connect the battery while charging
i've been able to boot the cwm, I formatted all the partitions (system, data, cache) and i flashed again the ROM. now the device is working fine. thanks to everyone for the advices

The battery is simply over drained. You need to charge longer before you can restart the phone.
your device batter was over drained, charge more longer time dude
after having this issue for way too long, i tried the obvious, i got a precision screwdriver (the flat one, and a very little one) and bent JUST A LITTLE the inside part of the usb cole (the part that has the tracks that connects to the charger) upwards. That was the problem....with the time, it got bent more and more downwards and started barelly making contact with the usb charger, by bending it upwards (i repeat, less than 1 milimeter, its very little) my phone got normal again, as all the tracks started now to make full contact with the charget.
Im not responsabile for ur phone and what happens to it, but that works.
Ok, so here's the thing:
I had 3% battery left and turned my evo off.
When I tried turning it on again after I got home, It wouldn't do anything. So i pulled the battery and tried again. Went to bootscreen -> battery empty, shut down.
it's the known clockwordmod bug where you cant charge your phone when it's off (yeah, yeah I know...)
So went into fastboot quickly and flashed twrp recovery. Success. Or so I thought. Get the red charging led when plugged in, doesn't seem to charge though. When I tried turning it on after ~30min "charging". Again, battery empty: shut down.
Also, If I try to enter recovery now I just get the htc load screen for a few seconds and then it reboots.
Wtf? Any idea what happened here?
Of course this happens two days before I planned on going on vacation around california...sigh
EDIT: ok, I think I got extremely lucky here, after attempt 10 or so I got it to boot and it's now charging. Still have to look after the recovery thing though...
EDIT2: All good now, nevermind.
Why dont you use 4ext recovery?

I agree with this guy. 4ext recovery provided little to know issues for me. I abandoned clockwork mod forever.
