What does Odin tell you as error message?

no, you ticked "repartition", which is against the instructions, thus killing your phone. apparently

when you add pit automatically tick "repartition". I do not think that would be the problem here.

I always flash using pit files, does it fail, then I will just revive it using my riff box. You can not kill it beyond repair with just a pit file, and certainly not I9300

Not all can own that device and understand how it works. So for users like us flashing with re-partition ticked is pretty much killing the device. And why do even need to tick the re-partition everytime you flash? lol

Hi to all, guys, I need your help in this situation: I try to install CWM on S5830i thru flashing zip from SD, after flashing my phone take reboot, after this I got black screen. I wait approx 10 minutes, and then try to enter recovery mode (power+home+vol up) - nothing, I got black screen again. I try to enter ODIN mode (power+BOTH volume keys), with sucsess, so I understood that the only way to rise up my phone is USB flashing. I download all needed drivers and ODIN v1.85 (also I try to connect them with ODIN 4.38, but he cant se phone even with manually writing COM port). So, I download stock firmware S5830iXXKK5.tar, put tis file on PDA and begin flashing. I got this:

<ID:0/003>
<ID:0/003> There is no PIT partition.

It was surprised me, because I read that there is no needed PID file for stock firmware. I try google PID for my phone, but with no result.
If you have any ideas how rise up this dead phone to ANY firmware, please help. Thanks a lot.
i´m not really sure about what difference between generic gt-s5830 and gt-s5830i, but did u use correct ops file? i mean the cooper.ops file.
the ops file define correct partition layout, and if u use incompatible ops that will result in a whole lot mess including bricking.
So you need Odin 1.85,drivers and here's the PDA file for Odin.

why u use that odin? does gt-s5830i really need to use that odin?
afaik odin v3.xx or v4.xx that we regularly use doesnt have that pit tabs, intead we use ops.
moreover if u really need to use that odin, why is the pit tabs empty? its obvious by the pit error in the log that it cannot find pit file. lol

So if you explain, why older version is working fine instead of 4.38, or take me some ideas, how I can use "right" ODIN, it will be great.

I'm not sure if you're kidding, so I am answering you assuming you're not.
The thread was about going back to bone stock to use kies to upgrade but not getting the modem to flash properly. He was able to do that, then was able to get the ics update.
Bottom line -- he returned to stock.
Don't bash me if I misunderstood you. If you do I will burn your house down (just kidding).

Use Kies to install UCLF6 ICS. It will wipe the CWM kermel. The old 3e recovery will be the default.

When you say "flash the stock modem", how is this done? i've looked all over and my mind is numb. Sorry, I'm new. I know how to do the reboot using the up/down + pwr to get into recovery. Is flashing done by executing the zip file on an sd card or on the phone? This is where I am unclear and I dont want to screw up my phone. Thanks for all help.
Is there an Odin .tar version of this by any chance?

Put phone in download mode.

Hi
Yesterday i rooted my Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100m VIA The zergrush exploit.
I Tried to flash CWM Via Odin and it did not work!
My phone will not access recovery and when turned on normally says "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again"
I have tried flashing the bootloader, kernel, CSC, modem, and firmware several times but they always fail!
I tried to follow this guide here and it also did not work!
I can not think of what else to do so i have posted this thread here!
Thanks

you have to download pit file so it can create a partition. download it and flash it together with the tar file of your desired firmware. i had the same problem but it couldn't create a partition as it is full bricked and i sent it for a warranty

What ROM and what Kernel did you use before it happened (Kernel version is also important)? And what did you mean with you got stuck? Details are important when you are dealing with cases like this.
I saw this kind of screen before, some guy had the same problem. However he couldn`t fix himself. Ever heard of Sudden Death?

No one has been successful with that method yet. The issue will be that the wear levelling bug has wiped out your eMMC and it needs replacing.
Have a read in the general forum of the "ultimate SDS thread" or whatever its called. There is also my "important - are you covered" thread stuck at the top of general.
So thats the sudden death ? Were you on 4.1.2 before you bricked?

i did not use triangle away
i was using paranoid android 4.2.2
then went to cmod9
so i think i am screwed
CM9 has no SDS fix.
All you can do is try and get warranty repair if you're still in warranty. Otherwise pay for a Mobo repair / replacement.
Someone posted a how to to fit a new eMMC and the cost of the eMMC was cheap, but the effort was a lot.
People gotta take care what firmware to flash :/ Stock 4.1.2 is safe , I used DFG and didnt get any freeze for like a week so my phone's stable now ... maybe samsung come up with a new firmware which makes your phone explode or ruin our devices ... Who knows >.< ?

i only can go to ODIN/Download mode, i try to flash a new software with ODIN but the problem is usb debugging is disable.
any help please .
Odin mode does not require usb debugging, if it won't connect to your pc then search for the usual solutions -hundreds of identical posts.
firstly thanks for your reply .
secondly: i search for tow hours before i post this thread .
if its not require usb debugging why this error come
<ID:0/004> File analysis..
<ID:0/004> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/004> Initialzation..
<ID:0/004> Get PIT for mapping..
<ID:0/004>
<ID:0/004> There is no PIT partition.
<OSM> All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)
Maybe if you use another laptop or pc then it might work

"No pit" sounds like motherboard is toast.
Try a recovery firmware, a full package with multiple files, the pit, and pit+repartition on odin.
i try with another pc but give me same error
any help please

so what can i do? Dumped in trash? all my file will be deleted
Try the rescue firmware from general forum, if that fails then your emmc chip is damaged. Your data is already gone.
