Awesome Note from Galaxy Note Tab 8.0 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Just want to share this...great app, it's the only note app really needed for our phone! I know it has been out for a minute but just wanted to share with original Note users if they hadn't seen it yet.
http://dgrulesit.blogspot.com/2013/04/appapkgalaxy-note-80-awesome-note.html

As the name says, this is truly a awesome app. Been playing around with it for a bit and i can see how much more useful this is compared to the stock note taking apps.
Thanks for posting this.

It's a good APP for us, but just wonder we can install it to our phone directly? It looks I cann't install it to my 4.1.2 OS.

If your phone is rooted, I think the Padawan JB ROM has the option to add this app. You may want to double check the OP of that ROM

I tried this on my Note2 and the sizing is wrong. might need to change the dpi or something.

If rooted you can use Xposed installer and then per app dpi module.

Market Enabler.

Does anyone know if there is a market enabler solution for rooted S3 owners?
Lots of games showing as incompatible that I reckon will work with the S3 but now way to let the market download them.
Any ideas?

Anyone?
I realise that this is just being super impatient and no doubt these games will have S3 compatibility built in soon but all the same I have rubbish patience skills!

have been looking for the same thing, I think the lcd density modder pro app will work, as you can temporarily modify the dpi to 240, or hack the apk to pretend it's a 240dpi phone, then install the apps as normal from the market... then obviously switch the dpi back again. I haven't tried this yet, due to the fact I don't want to mess with my lovely 320dpi yet
It would be most handy wouldn't it. I am assuming it is something about how ICS works than means there are no easy market enabler apps out yet.
Omega v6.0 has market app enabler in kitchen files new to the s3 so don't know what its for or used it but its there

It's only used for outside-US country restrictions.
OP, I think it's just a matter of editing build.prop and clearing the Google Play data and cache.

it's probably the normal app, if so it doesn't work on the market version we have installed on the s3.

to teach you:
it spoofs your market to make it think you are on a different network/phone so you can get apps that are technically not supported for your country or phone model.
So this app is it only if you have the Omega rom or can you use it on any rooted S3?
Well no joy. Installed Omega rom (glad I did about time I got a custom ROM on my phone!) and I can see the option for Market Enabler but it doesn't appear to be able to download it?
Has it been removed form the play store?
I missed Lenny's post 7... D'oh! Should really read threads properly!
Oh well then looks like patience is the order of the day. Anyways well pleased this thread ocnvinced me to install Omega... is boss!

Cant add Multi View compatible apps to multi view bar *SOLVED*

Hey guys, up until a month ago I have been an avid iOS user until I recently made the glorious switch tk Android. I have figured most everything out except how to add apps that are multiview compatible to the multiview bar. I've tried drag and drop and a few other things but none seem to work. I was really hoping someone could help me, thanks in advance!

Multiview functionality is not part of android operating system. That is a propietary technology from samsung, and the applications that can be use in that mode have to be made to do so.

With stock you can only do a small handful of apps (and not all that useful either). But if you use certain Roms (I've been using Jelly Beans for a few months) some come with all apps enabled. I think there is also another way to hack it but probably requires at least root.
Re: Cant add Multi View compatible apps to multi view bar
I rooted my phone the day I got it, since its rooted will it allow me to add more apps to it??

Re: Cant add Multi View compatible apps to multi view bar
Yes, there are mods to do so, or you could pretty much flash any TW ROM under the development section and have all apps available in multi window.

Okay, thanks! What about already compatible apps such as Chrome and Google Maps?? How do I add those to the multiview bar?
Also, I apologize for the "newbie-ness" of my questions, im brand new to Android.
Sent from my SCH-I605 using xda app-developers app
I don't think that Verizon lets you add any apps to the multiwindow view. If you want more apps in there, then you can flash a rom. If you like the look of your phone currently, then I suggest one of the CleanROMs, either the ACE, Verizon Special Edition. If you are stock and you don't want to flash a rom, then you can try this mod here.
Personally I would recommend that you flash a rom if you haven't already. There are so many great roms out there that unlock features that verizon didn't want us to have, or other things like the ability to make the phone look more like stock android.
Re: Cant add Multi View compatible apps to multi view bar
Hello, im a new android user (switched over from iOS last week) and I just had one question for you. Im fairly familar with Linux, so the first thing I did when I got my phone was obviously unlocking the bootloader and rooting it. Im running a stock ROM woth the Team Win Recovery and I was wondering how I would flash from my current ROM to the CleanROM VZW SE 1.5. As you can see below, I have the Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II. I apologize for the "newbie-ness" of my question, thank you for your time!

I'd recommend picking a rom based on the first posts in the thread for each one (in the development section), and then read as much as possible in that thread. This is my first android phone too, but after reading the Jelly Beans thread (yes all of it, but I'm crazy like that) I feel I have a good grasp on everything. I'm no expert, but I'm not a newb either, and I've only tried Beans and Cleanrom thus far.
Now I just wanna get 10 (useful) posts so I can post on Beans' thread and thank him! :cyclops:

I was looking at the CleanROM VZW SE 1.5 but I am afraid of bricking my device. I was hoping someone had some useful tips to avoid this
What I'm trying to say is that there are TONS of such tips on this board, but they are already spelled out much better than I could explain, so you really have to put some time in and do the research. You should read the entire thread about that rom, and also read the thread on unlocking all the way through. Everything you need to know is there. It's very rare to completely brick one of these things.

It keeps force-closing on AOSP based Roms. Could anyone make a patched version please? There was a patched one of the older version that worked fine on AOSP based Roms here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2214780. I messaged the dev but I guess he's been busy. Would really love to be able to use this on non-stock Roms. Thanks in advance!

If you are rooted, you can install the XPosed Framework and the App Setting Module to change the DPI Setting for that application. Here's the link to the module, make sure you're rooted first.

... considering it has a FHD screen and not HD like note 2. but who knows, maybe they're resolution adaptable. I would also be interested in the included media, like photos, music, videos that this ROM might contain.

So far it doesnt look like anything will work, I imagine this is a combination of 4.3 firmware requirements and dpi issues.
Will look into other peoples attempts and see what i can find.
If its is the firmware then we won't see any of the apps for a while, until someone can mod them.
if its even possible.

[Request] Rom or Mod to customize mega in S5 style

Hello everyone! I just would ask you if you know any rom or mod that allows to totally customize the UI, graphics, status bar, system menu, lockscreen, etc, like an S5. I would like a rom or a mod like this:

but for our wonderfull galaxy mega 6.3!
Does it exist? I'm not asking just for a simple launcher like or similar to s5 launcher, but a real porting of the s5 general graphics and menus, including icons and all the rest... Thanks in advance!

Then you should have root?
I am no developer what so ever. Nor do I have root anymore, recovery or roms. Asking anybody to build a rom for you would be unreasonable. If the S5 launcher is not what your looking for, then I would look into the Xposed Module. You may have some options there, or maybe the combo of both.
Maybe some of the existing roms will get you close and you could use Xposed may take you the rest of the way?
Good luck
