With root explorer, supersu allow permission for "roots apks", supersu isn't a "unistall apk".
You can learn more in google

I got same problem, I don't know how to proceed !!! what a shame!!!
Hey,
I have the same problem with my sola (6.1.1.B.1.54) too. Do I have to unlock the bootloader before doing this? Isn't there a way to root without unlocking the bl?
Please help!
Thank you
Finally found my way out!!
It seems that the .54 firmware isn't vulnerable to bin4ary's exploit, you need to flash the .10 kernel first, root and the reflash the .54

ya don't update it but the icon is black and its normal now try with that binary root you have to sense the buttons in screen and you have to click restore and after restart your icon will be normal and you will see supersu or superuser on your screen menu...
I've followed the video of the root method to 100%, every thing looks fine. But after installing the backup, There's no SuperSU and Root Checker tells me It's not rooted. What is the problem.

.54 cannot be rooted directly using binary.....
There's another method to do so...
You must be on. 54 then flash .10 kernel and then root using binary and then flash the .54 kernel back

CM11 will have over written this recovery when you installed it. Just after you start the boot the LED should go purple for a second or two, press the vol up key then and you should endup in CWM

Thank you for the reply mate. Thats"s what i thought also, i try to go to CWM,when purple LED lights up, i would press volume UP but it would just be stuck on SONY logo and yellow LED would light up and that's it. I have to restart the phone. is it ok to reflash the recovery? or would there be any step that I need to do. Thanks. Very appreciated.

Issues with Dual Boot Recovery
Hi,
Anyone can help me out?
I have an Xperia Z Ultra, freshly rooted with unlocked BL.
I installed Dual Recovery but for some reason, I can't reboot to any of the recovery this has to offer (PhilTouch, CWM, and TWRP).
Tried the physical button method and via NDR Utils with no success.
Looking at the log on the console, it looks like it failed to copy some files saying that a given directory is read-only but I checked using ES File Explorer that these directories are writable.
Can anyone help out as I would like to create a nandroid backup before messing with anything else just in case.
Anyway, here is the output of the installer console:

Hi, I have a stock Tablet Z on 10.7.A.0.222
I have successfully unlocked the bootloader via instructions on xperia firmware. However I have been unable to root it or install twrp.
I am a complete noob at this but the tablet is running incredibly laggy as stock so want to refresh it. I was using this guide:
https://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/xperia-tablet-z-cm14-cyanogenmod-14-nougat-7-0-rom/
In that guide I got to 1b which led me to this guide for installing recovery:
https://www.cyanogenmods.org/forums/topic/install-twrp-recovery-android-using-fastboot/
When i try to do step 6 the tablet shuts off and does not go into bootloader mode where I can flash twrp.
Can someone provide direction on what I need to do differently? I have done various searches on this site and I believe there is not a recovery installed in this firmware version or something and that is preventing me from being able to do this step but I am not sure how I get around that.

forget about root. To install TWRP to FOTA or custom ROM, you don't need it.
Proceed with step 7.

thanks a lot, I did that, got lineage installed, worked fine, then when I followed the directions to install gapps and rebooted it just keeps loading twrp and not to lineage. I tried wiping and starting over and getting the same thing. Is there something I need to do differently? I used gapps arm 7.1 neon 20181118
thanks again
