cwm recovery status 7 error - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

i'm trying to flash a custom rom (unofficial jelly bean port for xperia sola, by munjeni)
i see many others flash it successfully, but mine's always stuck at the status 7 error.

Is that the getprop error?

Have u flashed the kernel by munjeni!??

The same thing happened to me with the bootloader lock. Once I unlocked it, I have installed so many roms. You should read if that rom is for unlock bootloader only.

[Q] need help to unlock bootloader plzzz

hi i am a new user of xperia neo.....in my device bootloader unlock allowed says NO...now can anyone help me to unlock my bootloader ???? plzz someone help me ,which method i can use to unlock bootloader....and if my bootloader is lock can i use recovery mode on my device ????
Please read the stickies before posting.
Boot loader unlock no= no fast boot so you cannot flash custom kernels, but you can flash all stock ones including ics.
You can still root and install cwm, this will allow you to flash any rom for locked boot loader.

Actually no you can just read the stickies, you are going to murder your phone, you cannot downgrade to 2.3.3 you'll get the 0% battery issue.
Why people start messing with things without research I don't know.
Do your self a favor and read the stickies before you try anything else you will find the right way to root

Try replacing the SIM card from your operator
my sim work fine i try another sim still same problem
But I don't think you need an unlocked bootloader to flash firmwares with flashtools.

You don't have to have the boot loader unlocked for flashing the official firmware.
You can re-download the same firmware or different firmware and flash it and see if it fixes your problem.
By-the-way, firmware won't change the boot loader status! If it can, by now everyone would have been flashing to unlock the firmware! .

No way the flashtool tells you to unlock the boot loader in order to flash the stock ROM. Either you are lying or you are really spamming!

then i wanted stock rom so i followed a guide and relocked bootloader and restored original baseband and kernel..

i also tried flashtool again but when i try to flash something it says that flashing aborted.. plz help guys as soon as possible :crying::crying::crying::crying:
Hi bro, why and how did you restore your bootloader? Seem lots of similar cases
Try to unlock again. And try to reflash Stock Rom with SEUS. You don't have to relock bootloader to flash Stock Rom, in what guide, which you follow, you read that?

Nope, donut HD can be flashed on locked/unlocked bootloader, u should know this.
The reason why i asked u how is : some users relock
their bootloader improperly, and it could brick the phone permanently.

That is bricked phone, so i ask u again :
How you restore your bootloader? detail pls!
Flash stock rom using flash tool. If you can't get flash mode in normal way try this. Take off battery, connect USB to phone, pc, hold back button, insert battery. Good luck.

I'm really glad to heared that bro .
To unlock and restore our bootloader we need to
refert to Stock Rom and Kernel ( Official stock),
This is really safe and eassiest way, btw we absolutely no need to restore our bootloader unless for warranty purpose.

Root/custom roms questions

Hello,
Some time ago I tried to root and install a custom rom for my lg l9 p760(v20i) but I failed; error was: "security error" at boot.
Now, bad ideas comes to my mind again and I want to repeat the process.
My question is pretty simple: in order to have a rooted phone with a custom CM rom, what steps should I follow, and most important in what order: root, busybox, unlock bootloader and then install cm recovery?
Thanks.

Thank you for you answer.
So this is where i was wrong: last time I just rooted the phone,then using an app from Play Store I installed CWM then got that annoying "security error";
Thanks again and have a great day!
I'm gonna guess you used Rom Manager to install CWM.
From what I've read that's a big no-no on our phones.
