Hi guyz....
Im using a i9300 . It wz bought from china with ICS in it...when i updated to JB via wifi nd it got locked ( network lock) .
I went to service center and temporarily unlocked my phone...Now itz rooted nd working okay....but dat guy from service center told me if i update this it ll be locked again.....
Under this situation...
I jus wanna know IF I FLASH STOCK ROM OF JB OF INDIAN VERSION from sammobile...WILL MY PHONE GET LOCKED AS EARLIER...??
I searched everywhere for a solution...didnt find....
need an answer.....or can i permanently unlock my phone....??

Flashing stock roms shouldn't lock the device.
If you're rooted, use galaxsim unlock from s3 apps forum

I have problem with my Samsung Galaxy S2, my s2 was unlocked in version 4.0.4 than i updatet in 4.1.2 i downloaded official rom from sammobile i flashed with odin and than my phone asked for sim network pin. than i flashed again with 4.0.4 the same problem. Please help. How can i fix this.

By searching the forum
This is what i done. Flash stok 4.0.4. Siyaa Root it, go to unlock s2 in market. Make sure to back up ur efs folder. Then flash a custom jb i did militant its the BEST stock like rom, and it shouldnt remove the network unlock.

That is absolutely ridiculous.
Look children, this is what happens when you cant be bothered to search, you go and pay some idiot to do what you should have done in first place, ie search, read, learn and do.
If you had search you would have found many topics that recommend various unlocking apps from play store or on xda and unlocked you device in seconds.

HEY there guys... I need help regarding a problem i am facing.. And it is about the rom that i just flashed on my gt-i9100
Now the prob is i was using stock ics rom with siyah kernel. And i dont know why, but i decided to flash stock jb rom which
has just leaked for s2.now as i flashed my phone is kind of factory locked, i tried to change the csc which was described in
the rom description but nothing worked .. I tried to find the unlock key via chainfire's app but it also didnt worked... Now for the time being
i have reverted back to stock ics but the prob is when i start my phone it asks for an unlock key and i dont have it so my phone
is working as a f*****g ipod right now.... i.e no working sim..
Plz tell me what to do now & if there is a way to install jb stock rom without factory locking the phone

Look dude, the simple matter of the fact is that you're not special. Other people have had 100% exactly same "problem" as you and have solved easily by reading the topics that have already been created about this matter.
We have various topics on unlocking sim after flashing JB so go read and learn.
creating duplicate topics and labeling it as "URGENT!!!!" doesn't help you it just irritates people into not wanting to reply or help you.

First i flashed jb spanish leak ... Then i flashed nordic leak... Same problem persisting.. Actually that app galaxy s unlock aint working on jb i guess. For me atleast
If i understand right what are u asking for is an UNLOCK code for the phone because it is not booting up at all and u can't even get to sim unlocking screen where u have to input ur PIN ? Is that correct?
If yes, i've had same problem on my old GalaxyS, im not sure if it will work on S2 but here is what i did.

If u can go to recovery mode u can try to mount usb storage and make a backup of ur SD card.

No... Its not the case. I come across that screen but i dont have any key to put in so i just dismiss the msj... And the phone's working but the sim is not registered... I was thinking if it is to do anything with the country i am living in.??? Any ideas?
I suppose ur not asked about PIN code, so there is no sim card inserted or phone is not recognizing its presence. Maybe its silly but pull it out and push back in. If there is no contact problem and u have tried various roms and kernels then i would start suspecting hardware issue.
Post a screen shot.
And it better not be a SIM PIN code.

GalaxySim Unlock is one app, Galaxy S unlock is another app.
You need busybox, got busybox installed?
Ask yourself, do you really wanna unlock your device?

Maybe because i have ****ed up an sg2 before trying to install something from this site and now i want it to be 100% safe ? Anywayz , apparently im on the 4.0.3 version and that seems to be hardbrick free right ? If thats the case , that means i can root the phone using any method ?
Mate just flash syiah 4.0+ or dorimanx 5.92 via Odin and u get root or just update to jb via kies or download and flash via Odin then root u got few kernels for jb with root and jb is brick bug free kernels too good luck

Look mate if u went avoid brick bug jut update to jb its bug free then use philz kernel its stock to root and voila u got bug free jb with root and u can sleep safe or after flash custom ROM rest info u find somewhere here

Just use a "safe" Kernel and everthings okay. But check if the Kernel is the right one for your Firmware Version...
Aight , thanks for the feedback guys , i`ll think about rooting it again , keeping in mind that the official 4.1.2 its gonna come soon and it will pawn , so i guess i wont need root and a custom rom ... maybe only for deleting those god damn stock apps.
It is almost impossible to brick your phone if you stay away from .pit files and ticking re-partition in odin.

One last question guys , im from Romania , if i use lets say , the Russian Jellybeam version will it really matter ? I mean will it be any difference between the Russian one and actually waiting for the update in my country ?
it'll work just fine, it's not about the firmware, it's about modems.
You got people from brazil flashing russian jelly bean and they do just fine.

Then use doomlords rooting toolkit to root your device..

Hey well i have a Metro PCS Galaxy S3 SCH-R530M , I have it root. I had SuperUser but i went to options and clicked "Unroot" or somthing like that . but i guess i didnt Fully unroot it ? Well i want to get back to stock firmware and where i can update if necessary , I click "UPDATE" and it says i cant do to rooted device .
I cant find the USA firmware for my device ive only found A different reigon plus its 4.0.4 or somthing .
I want the stock 4.1.2 USA firmware , i dont care about the warrenty as long as im fully unrooted , please help .
