I tried Lulzactiveq with PowerJB 1.4, but it was really slow. I read somewhere that Jelly Bean is made for interactive only.
I've been using ondemand-noop since ICS and I find it works just as fine on JB.

will try. Thanks!
Thank you all. I checked your opinions and found ondemand-noop 200-1150 is most compatible for me.
I am using cfq & ondemand good preformance
For multicore processor, Sio will give good performance by splitting jobs, hotplug governor turns off other cores and runs only one core at light usage, saves battery.
pegasusq & hotplug is always good for battery and performance in multicore processors and also the sio and noop scheduler

Pegasusq and sio on FlyingThor v2.0 is awesome, great battery and performance.

What would your opinions best be for governors you use for 1. Battery 2. Performance 3. Combination of both
Also do you use sio or hoop?
I personally use smartassv2, smartass, and/or conservative....but which one has best battery options, maybe interactivex

I use interactivex
Sent from my LG-P500 using XDA App
interactivex = best battery
minmax = best performance
im using lightassv2 on venice v4.0 lets c how it is
interactivex
Yep interactiveX hands down.
For some reason Smartassv2 don't go to maximium freq. Example i put max to 729 put i only get 710mhz at most

The best is any governor that isn't conservative with: min- 480 max- (the max that your phone can handle, for me it's 729)
And the i/o sheduller: basically sio for multitasking and noop* to give priority in what you are doing
PS:i use paolo v6 touch kernel and everything works without any lag.
for those of you using franco.kernel v1.1 (his .35 kernel), maybe this might be something of interest?

Conservative governor will save more battery life than smartass2, and because I tweaked it there shouldn't be any performance loss in the long run. There is enough information about conservative in the web, a little Google search will do it.

yeah interactivex for best battery

Your absolutely right, when I used sonygenmod I used a .35 kernel with conservative governor and battery was better...but since most roms now use .32, I stick with interactivex

Hi every one,
i don't know:
1. what is Governor and I/O scheduler?
2. what govenor is best for performance and battery?
3. what's the best combination bettwen Governor and I/O scheduler (for performance and battery)?
I use Live With Walkman, Rom: Xperia Ultimate 2.0.2 and kernel Panic.
Please explain me..
Thanks!

There is no 'recommended' ones,
just play with it a little (if oc'ing, don't oc above 1.4)
choose different govners and schedulers and see how they work for you...

For battery you can use governor as smartassv2 or virtuous and I/o scheduler noop..
For performance you can use ondemand or ondemandx with sio ..
After many many attempts of making my own scripts (and failing horribly), I found a decent base and created multiple scripts that use the conservative governor for better battery life and a mixture of performance and battery life. I'll be posting a couple variants for different kernels.
You'll need SManager or ROM Toolbox to run these scripts.
These will create MUCH BETTER CPU scaling. You might notice slight, but quick, lag when the screen transitions under the performance and balanced scripts. The battery saving one will definitely have lag in it.
I personally prefer the balanced tweaks.
NEW SCRIPTS TO WORK WITH ALL KERNELS THAT SUPPORT THE CONSERVATIVE GOVERNOR!

Hi, I'm on Stock JB and ME Kernel V4.1,
can I use these scripts without kind of problem??
Thanks.

The ones from Box. Not the ones directly uploaded to XDA. Once I get to a computer, I'll upload some better scripts I've got going and one that works extremely well for houstonn's 162MHz kernel.

FIOPS, Deadline, and CFQ are all way better than BFQ.
Yeah I know. I use FIOPS, now. Got a few different scripts that I'll upload shortly which will make wheatley, ondemand, interactive and intellidemand better on battery.

last time i used one of these beta settings. i had to oden.....
Hi,I don't know if i am doing something wrong...but I run your script with toolbox on stock JB and ME kernel and charged full the battery yesterday before i go to sleep (11pm) and when I woke up the battery its 85% (8am). What is happening?? (I used the scripts on BOX)

You need to search on how to disable fast dormancy.
Ok, I disabled Fast Dormancy, I hope that solves the problem, thanks.
SetCPU is a tool for changing the CPU settings on a ROOTED Android phone. SetCPU can improve your performance, save battery, or both!
For more details: Google Play Link
XDA Forums Link
I managed to get around 24h of standby time and around 4h of screen-on time with 2G and wifi with moderate use but the results may differ based on personal use.
These are the profiles that would help to increase the battery life without sacrificing the performance.
Profile Name: Screen On
Conditions: Screen On
CPU Max: 800Mhz
CPU Min: 200Mhz
Governor: Lionheart
I/O Scheduler: Row
Priority: 50, Exclusive
Profile Name: Screen Off
Conditions: Screen Off
CPU Max: 400Mhz
CPU Min: 200Mhz
Governor: Lazy
I/O Scheduler: Row
Priority: 90, Exclusive
Profile Name: Games
Conditions: Any of these are true(All games)
CPU Max: 1000Mhz
CPU Min: 200Mhz
Governor: Performance
I/O Scheduler: Row
Priority: 55, Exclusive
Optional
If you experience lags during music playback when the screen is off.
Profile Name: Music
Conditions: Any of these are true(Walkman,In Call)
CPU Max: 800Mhz
CPU Min: 200Mhz
Governor: Lionheart
I/O Scheduler: Row
Priority: 91, Exclusive
Note:
1.I tried this on Xperia P, but it should work on U, GO and SOLA as well.
2.People with Stock Kernel could use governors like Ondemand,Powersave and Performance.
3.Remember to uncheck "set on boot" option on any other app that changes the CPU settings like No-Frills etc to avoid conflicts.
4.Please do not ask for download link of SetCPU as its a paid app and it is against XDA rules to post Warez, you have Google for that...
Feel free to share your experiences...
Special Thanks to nicolassp for his help...!!

Initially i had Wheatley, but since i was underclocking i had to balance performance as well as battery life....
So i used Lionheart.
You could try Wheatley and report the results.
Thanks man, I tried it & I hope my battery life will increase.
Sadly the setCPU screen off profile sticks after I turn the screen back on in my XU.

thanx!
This guide is excellent.
Using this guide+Phantom kernel+Dark Rom I only used 32% of my battery over 14 hours yesterday
I don't see any screen on profile... the same for "games" and music, I don't have the I/O Scheduler, I don't see any "conditions" section.
What am I missing?
