Interesting... But I can't make the Smart Actions work in any rom that uses the AOKP 4.2.2, and really like to use it.

Smart actions needs the blur framework to work. I use Tasker to do the same things.

I was looking for some substitute for the Smart Actions.
Do you recommend this Rom for daily use?

Pretty good for me, better than when I was using stock based ROMs. Battery life is one of those things that varies by user and usage.

Running for a coupe of hours. Everything is great so far!

I'm truly thankful that there are still new ROMs being created for this device. That being said, this is a great ROM!! Flawless so far.
One question, with the built in LED control for notifications, is there any way to not get screwed up colors? All I'm trying to get is the stock green. Just plain old green. Also, I know there are apps that can do this, but I prefer to use the built in utility if possible.

You'll have to play with it to get the color. Most of mine are off to, but tweaking long enough you can eventually get it.

I believe you need the exact hex color for green. From what I understand, if the hex is even slightly off, the led light will be messed up.

I'm really interested in trying this ROM as the one from surdu_petry is based on AOKP 4.2.2 -> mr1 - build 6 only...
Looking forward to see if it can be used on a XT910 (and preferrably with BMM) :good:

Everybody has thier own opinion on whats best. Fassygummy and aokp have more options for customizing things. Read the op's in the dev section that stuff is explained there.

The customization options in AOKP are nice, and they are not available in THS. You have a bit more control over the look, feel and operation of the ROM. And I can't get myself to say "fassygummy" without snickering...my 3 year old takes vitagummys everyday So that was my completely "objective" decision making process when looking at the 3, FWIW.
Like droidstyle said, everyone has their own opinion...try them and see which one works best for you. I tried THS and AOKP before sticking with AOKP simply based on the customization options.
The Base build of Gummy i am almost sure it is THS build 6
then from the Gummy OP this is what they added:
AOSP build based on 4.0.3 complied by Kejar31
Performance Settings - Credit CM / Jrummy16 / Kejar31
GUI manageable init.d scripts tweaks - Credit Jrummy16 / Kejar31
Customisable SystemU tweaks - credit Xoomdev / Syaoran12 / Kejar31
Battery % always available in the lockscreen (now with the option to turn on and off) - Credit Syaoran12
Faster rotation initiation - Credit XoomDev / Kejar31
T9 Dialer - Credit CM
Quad Lockscreen with open customizable seats
Customizable battery icons options ( Hide, miui, stock, fat battery with %, side bar with % and circle)
Modified Trebuchet - credit CM
Pulldown Widgets - credit Syaoran12 / LTE toggle credit - CM (notice it may take a min two for your phone to make the transisiton)
OI FileManager (compiled with the ICS SDK)
FaceBook contact sync - Credit Roman <- Yes it works
Softkey Mod and settings - Credit XoomDev / Icons - WJD Designs
Busybox
Su and Superuser apk - Credit ChainsDD
Stk
Livewallpapers compiled and included
All png's are optimized during build via CM script and PNG Crunch
Your welcome!
FassyGummy and AOKP definitely have more options than THS but, I can't get the wifi bug to stop acting up. I'm sticking with THS 6.0 till wifi issues are addressed. Phone is running awesome. Also the 4 button lock screen is great !

This day just keeps getting better and better! Thanks again guys! (out of thanks today. I'll thank you tomorrow). One question though, is the camera working on this build?
I'm giving it a try now anyway, so I will report
Downloading...NOW!!! :highfive:
oh yeah!! :victory: :victory:
new version is up guys
the launcher problems as well the keyboard popup we cannot do anything...this is a bug on googles closed sourced new launcher lol. Lets hope they will update it as well soon. You can use nova instead which is in our builds as well
about camera we need to wait for the new bloobs from google. All other would be a hackish workaround which does not make sense assuming the blobs will be released soon
whatever
Fixes new version:
- added dalvik optimizations....so speed up step one
- reworked and adapted status bar clock and date customization to 4.4
- added some of our camera features (smart captchure, jpg quality, color filter, gps indicator)
- reworked the complete camera to the new google style. Google stoped it after they finished the photo camera interface lol. So all into new PIE style + some fixes + more consistent now
- added a bunch of Mms/SMS fixes
- activated on supported devices lockscreen transparency on nav and statusbar
- some stability fixes
- fixed some google 4.4 code derps
- a lot small stuff
have fun and cheers
PS. the camera features for deb of course you cannot use right now
I'm probably gonna flash this today The only question I have is this: I'm coming from an old nightly build of CyanogenMod 10.2, which is 4.3.
I remember when we made the jump to Jellybean, a new CWM had to be used and there were a bunch of changes.
It seems like the changeover from 4.3 to 4.4 is way less drastic.
WOuld I be able to get away with a dirty flash and just clear Dalvik cache, or do I have to do a full factory reset? I can Titanium Backup, I just would prefer not to
-edit- somehow doubleposted on accident, sorry!

Defiantly do a factory reset and format /system. 4.3 to 4.4 is too big of a jump for that.
I can't find TWRP 2.6.3.2
The newest version seems to be 2.6.3.1
Will it work with this version?
I flashed this last night using the same CWM Touch I used to flash cm10.2.
Flashed with twrp 2.6.3.1 all ok
Inviato dal mio Nexus 7 utilizzando Tapatalk
I have successfully flashed it, but I can't use this ROM for my daily driver because BlueTooth is broken. I use both a Pebble watch and a pair of A2DP headphones, and both lose connection after the screen is off for a couple minutes. Its acting like the Bluetooth interface is going to sleep for power savings, but this is happening while I am actually listening to audio via Bluetooth. I do this roughly 20 hours a week and "need" this functionality in my tablet.
As a result, I'm going back to CM10.2 for now...

Thanks for bringing slim KitKat tastyness to deb, I'm using the same ROM on my Nexus 4 and there the keyboard popup does not appear.

it is currently a hard task on the one hand we bring all our devices up on the other hand we put back our features...some are redefined some we programm completly from scratch with new stuff. Eg today we pushed about 200 commits from 4.3 into 4.4 for our other devices + fixes for current devices
but mostly ppl are interested in new features...so new build has:
- superuser included (need to be enabled in developer options!!!)
- a lot new features just discover them...to much to write up
- a new crt animation...check it out
- fix settings locale language problem
- and tons of fixes under the hood
and new build is up
I added a simple list yesterday but it is actually more we have already included:
- all keyboard features are back (force auto rotate, disable landscape fullscreen, force enter button, ime notification, volume key cursor control)
- clock statusbar features
- crt animation
- statusbar brigthness slide
- safe headset volume
- volume rocker features (wake device, sound skip)
- slims privacy guard
- volume panel features we had
- keyguard on supported devices shows now transparent navbar/statusbar as well
- wifi country code
- advanced reboot menu
- custom LED battery and notification features
- swipe qs -> notification and back
- disbale OTA from google
- slims camera and video features (smart capture, image quality, image size, gps indicator etc)
- implemented root (needs to be enabled in developer settings or in superuser settings. Disabled by default)
- tons of fixes in google code and optimizations
- a lot under the hood stuff
- and whatever I forgot to mention lol
Awesome!... I actually just flashed the rom today and love it... Can I dirty flash today's build?.. 8)
Dirty was just fine... I see the camera app in titanium but can't find it in my app drawer... Real smooth so far!... Cheers...

Hi, based on former experience I am happy to present 5.1 Liscio Fast Forward including self-compiled AOSP kernel (with DT2W and S2W). Few other modifications which were carefully chosen. Feel free to post your feature request here but be aware this will always stay as close as possible to stock.
Please flash this with Gapps of your choice. I used SimpleAOSP's.

I can not take any responsibility damaging your device or alarm clock which will not come off. If you decide to flash my ROM, you are getting responsible yourself. Have a functioning Nandroid in case something goes wrong.

Update, flashed the version which I uploaded on a clean install and no issues. I just removed the file on androidfilehost and re-upload..strange to see that the file size shrunk from 165MB to 116MB...I am uploading to MEGA right now
First page download link updated. Have fun and please feedback if working or not.
Hi. I can not check if this works differently on Sprint network. As for Telekom Germany, I would say all is fine. I recommend you just flash and try..

Your welcome. I can't say I'm as knowledgeable as a lot of the devs on here and I don't get much free time, but I'll contribute what I can.

I would imagine so. But I have no way to test this.

Let me know if it works.
EDIT: Patch is NOT needed.

What do you think of the DNA?
The developers here are really great people, knowledgable, and and eager to help, so if you're stuck on something just holler!

I love it. I've had the DNA since July of this year and I've been around on the forums (don't think I had an account for a while at first) for both DNA and Nexus 7 (grouper) for a while, but this is my first time contributing. Got some free time during my Christmas break from school.

Yea, I posted it there first since I did not have permissions here on XDA. But I lurked around some of the Help and General forums and helped out enough to get my post count high enough to post it here. I wouldn't abandon XDA haha

I know you're still here, you love us too much to leave
Running smooth. No major hiccups to report. Haven't dug in too deep yet, so don't know if there are any hidden (more like unused features to me) that aren't working as should.
Once this thing gets PIE + other PA goodies it'll be rock solid.
Good job OP. And thank you.
ROM is running very nice haven't had any issues MMS and data all working strong

I would love to see this become Official

[ROM+KERNEL] Uber CM-12.1---HAMMERHEAD [GCC 4.8 & 5.0]

This is a project that I have been working on for a little while for Bacon. I also have a FLO, and build this ROM for it also when I am bored/have nothing to do. I figured I may as well open a thread for it and see if other users like it. This ROM is compiled w/ Uber 4.8 on the ROM side and Uber 4.9 on the kernel side. I have added a few little optimizations here and there. I will add a feature list a little later. Sorry for the crappy OP. If you have any questions, feel free to @ me in the thread. I will answer anything that I can.
Features Added:
Delta Updates
Reboot/reboot recovery QS tile
Sync QS tile
Doze/Ambient display tile
Heads Up tile
Option for QS tile haptic feedback
Option to show 4 QS tiles per row
Slim's Lockscreen Shortcuts
Slim Custom Doze settings
Call recording for any country
Call recording encoder/format choice
Show each app name during art optimization
Heads Up options
Ability to hide SU status bar icon
Slim Seek Bar
Slim incall proximity speaker
Volume panel timeout
Force expanded notifications
Flip phone to mute/reject call
Option to disable privacy guard notifications
Built with CM's CameraNext inline instead of Camera2
Updated CameraNext from CM12S
LCD density changer
Option to remove data/wifi activity arrows

Im going to stick my neck out here and say Yes...Robbie has always been up to date
All set up now and running pretty sweet..
2 things I notice missing, not of ANY importance but used to having them 1) unable to resize navigation bar and 2) unable to reposition the clear all button.
Nothing major, other than that what a brilliant rom, loving it...
TrOjAn
I would like to report one issue with the APN . Upon every reboot my APN changes I.e APN chosen does not stick . Had the similar issue with Euphoria and the Dev switch to stock APN's and all was good then ..
hey guys, how long did the initial boot take? I seem to have been stuck on the cid boot animation for quite some time.

First boot can take quite a while, around 5 minutes, maybe even more, did you clean flash?

@RobbieL811 The ROM works fantastic . Snappy & small CM bugs here and there which can be dealt with . Anyway will Color Control be supported for the stock kernel like in Franco ?
does this rom requires 5.1 bootloader and radio... is it mandatory or not to update them?
