Hello community!
Intro:
There are those days when you wake up with an idea on your head. that wasn't one of those days. I was just looking at the new Play Store design, admiring how organized everything feels. So I thought it would be a good idea to have such an amazing style on my Notifications drawer. Everything would look so better organized, toggles, notifications and everything would look nice and separated by everything else. So, why not make it?! :good:
Everything was created using Google's colors from Google Now, Google Keep and Holo Swatches for Photoshop.
Also, the Toggles are all created from scratch by me(I hope you like them ) because I couldn't find some that could fit the style.
Well, here it is for you to get your hands on it!!! :victory:

Light:
Usage:
Download the Main mod/mods that you like and flash one using "File Installation" steps below.
In the "Add-ons" section you will find some handy add-ons, based on user or my demands. Those add-ons can be flashed on top of every main mod
File Installation:
1. Download the .zip/.zips that you want to flash.
2. Place it/them on your external or internal storage.
3. Shut down your phone.
4. Enter ClockworkMod Recovery mode.
5. Mount /system, mount /preload.
6. Flash the .zip/.zips.
7. Reboot.

Notes:
Notification item's colors are only changeable from framework-res.apk I think. Even if that's true or not, I'll do my best to fix the colors on Light theme.
The Sliders and Checkboxes are on a different .zip because they need to be installed in framework, and, not all users will like them, so that .zip is a separated VRT.
This theme/mod is based on XXLQE, but I guess it should work on most firmwares. Please report back if you flash it.

I have downloaded the black status bar.zip. i have some questions?
1-) I have replaced systemui.apk from Gnowdark.zip in my system/app. (Not flashed) coz currently I'm on stock kernel. So it is ok if i now flash Gnowblackstatus.zip from cwm?
2-) or if u can tell me which lime to change in res/layout/statusbar.xml? So that i get a black status bar.
3-) sorry to ask , but what's the full name for vrt?
And will it work if i haven't tried this theme, till now?

Yes, it is safe to flash the Black Status Bar using CWM even if you didn't flash Main mod.
To make it black by yourself open tw_status_bar.xml and and search on the first two lines for the "@drawable/tw_notification_panel_bg" or something like that, change that value to "#ff000000". Only do this in a decompiled .apk. You can't directly change the .xmls on a compiled .apk from inside /system/app.
The full name of VRT is "VillainROM Theme", and yes, all the VRTs will work fine even if you haven't flashed any Main mod yet.

After flashing this theme i flashed advanced gakaxy theme part 1 and 2 zips but the phone and ither apps are still the same. And the status bar looked very bad. So i again flashed Gnow.zip and now it is fine. But how to use both theme? I want themes contacs and phone.

Ok I first saw this theme a few weeks ago on the I9000 forums. I decided I have to have it so I have been spending most of my weekend porting it over to our Vibrants. Its absolutely the best looking theme I have ever had on my phone. I did not make anything in this theme asides from a few mods here and there. So thank the people below for this.

Ok this work on Bionix V. This is the only rom that I have tried this on so if you want to test it on something else be my guest but I am not at fault if you have a paper weight.

What I suggest is using ADW EX V1.2.2 with this theme and downloading the dock bar and icons below.
This is not a flashable zip its just the zip file containing the images for the dockbar and icons. If you try and flash it nothing will happen.

HOW TO INSTALL ICONS!!!

1. Make sure u have launcherpro installed. if you dont have it than u can get it from the market. bionix-v(1.2) does not have lp.
2. download the launcherpro dock and icon in the op. (it is not a flashable zip so dont cwm it and if u unzip it you will see pictures of the dockbar and icons).
3. connect your vibrant to your desktop and mount it..than unzip the file you just downloaded and placed in your gallery than disconnect your vibrant.
4. assuming you have launcherpro as your launcher, hit the menu softkey at the bottom left hand corner, it is to the left of the home key. than choose preferences, than chose appearance settings, than dock background. than choose custom and it should take you to your gallery, once in gallery you should see the 6 icons you dl, choose the icons that doesnt have any pics in it, tht should be your dockbar. than click on the home softkey. should be back to main menu.
5. now we are going to hange the icons, if you press and hold the phone key in the dockbar for a few seconds a popup should come up (edit dock shortcut), choose change icon, than choose custom icon and it should take you to your gallery. from there choose the phone icon. do the same thing for the other 4 icons and you are done.
I changed the pull down panel some from the original and added a custom boot animation along with my tv off shutdown animation.
How to Install
1. Download
2. Flash with Clock Work Recovery
3. Reboot It will take a while because of the Dalvik Cache being deleted.
4. Enjoy the beauty of this theme.

Hey tonic the theme looks amazing! ! Another great one. Only problem I ran into is now when I bring up the menu all my text is white along with the background so I can't read any of the options. Can you change the background color or text color

I PREFER the color. A lot of themes on the Vibrant seem to dim down the color. Nice to see it for a change.
Anyone tried this on Flagship V3 yet? I plan to disable voodoo and d/load this ASAP.

I agree color is needed for this theme.
I plan on working on the vibrant for a while. There is no other phone out that I want so sticking with this one for a few.

Try porting the paragon rom and u will get the black menu.. that's what I did. I personally like the Glassia for dena but awesome job non the less and I agree. Color is needed soooo bad on the vibrant. Sick of all the boring gray colors.

i kinda like this theme. but one thing that's common across all your themes, is they don't have the clock. Personally i think it alienates some of your potential users.
Have you seen the mod that when used with the settings menu allows you to no only hide the am/pm but also show/hide the clock?
Dude, you do make some really nice themes!
My only request is a few more screens like- dialer, progress bar color, pulldown curtain with toggles, etc. IMO that really helps when choosing a theme to flash.
Nice work though, the themes you choose are always really classy, not cheap looking.

Really clean looking theme though, love the look of the notification bar.
Really like the theme. Would definitely help to change the progress bar colors and the pop up boxes outlined with orange as well. Also you should color the power menu black and orange. I've really been looking for an orange and black theme and this is aaaaalmost there! I look forward to future releases!

For my own personal use ob my phone I took the bars out of clean tangerine v1.2. You might be able to message him and ask him if you could use it (not sure how these things work) or just give him credit or whatever.

Yeah in framework.res under drawable I replaced all the progress bars. Pretty much anything that said "progress" in the name I swapped it and now all the bars in the phone are orange.

Uhm love the theme but I have a weird issue when I open the dialer I cant hit the back button it just sits there, then I hit home and sense reloads everytime

I test thoroughly before releasing, and on multiple devices with multiple people.
unless you checked MD5, and installed on a fresh install of the ROM, there is nothing I can do.

I fixed it, apparently I have another theme mod installed that conflicted, working fine now and looks great good job!

Love it, thanks a lot. I was really liking the dark menus in ICS and went back to Inef1.3 today and that was the first think I noticed.
Just wondering, how hard would it be to make this black instead of grey or would it work? If you could point me to which images need changed to make them black I can do it myself. Just no sure which ones they are.

Is that normal? Some of the menu backgrounds are really light grey with white text. The mod was flashed after a fresh install also.

hey nice finds man.
yea, there will be some clashes as I've changed the text color for the entire frameworks from black to white, and in some applications, they will use the white text but they have a white background.
the music app, I've been messing around with that for a while and can't seem to find that one area and it's really bugging me lol.
but the other one, that says ringtones at the top, where exactly is that, maybe I can try and diagnose that one!
I tried getting as many of the issues fixed as possible before releasing, but there's just sooooo many edits, Fernando is a beast.

Ringtone is in settings>sound>phone ringtone. I would assume the same would apply to notification settings too

ok I see what you're saying. I:'ve been messing with this app actually, making the background to grey instead of black, and then I'm now trying to find how to change the text color. I'll have a new release soon too, I have some new themeing done, and a few dialers to choose from.
Yeah that ringtone would be in settings.apk not htc.hub. in GB most notifications are in systemui and downloadprovider. Some in framework.

I tried kitchen, but got that error when picking up. On zips ROM, I'm only supposed to change the framework, correct? Or do I do systemUI as well?

After several attempts (was getting SHTF errors), I was able to download the zip. However after flashing it, I got stuck on the logo screen
What is it that I'm doing wrong? I reverted back to what I had for the moment. But really am trying to get these colors working grrrrr lol

Ehmm to the risk of sounding like a total idiot, I just flashed that zip I picked up

As long as you had all your settings in the UOT Kitchen right, it should flash outright. Did you select emmc in the settings? I believe it defaults to mdpi. That will get you a bootloop everytime.

I've honestly tried all the options..Phone just freezes on startup. I didn't see emmc in the settings. I do see mdpi hdpi or ldpi??
Any other way to just manually do my own icons? I just want PINK lol..not blue

You're a savior!!! I just only wanted icons showing pink really. I like a pink theme. This shade of color #EEBBBB That's it If there really (and in no way necessary) needed to be another shade for other options #38042E. But again, I'm mainly interested in those status bar icons to change the color
I was having a retarded moment earlier. hdpi is what you want. For future reference, under the file upload tab make sure updater script type is EMMC.

Those look good but if that pink shade is used in background then icons wouldn’t show. Was hoping for icons of that color

I'm an orange guy, so I like my themes to be orange. However I know that not everyone out there shares my orange passion.....so I've included a few other colors for you. I am on VZW so have only focused on items related to that, just an FYI.
As of right now I only have themes for Newt's NOS M7 (thread found here) and Joel's BAMF (thread found here). BE SURE that you download the proper theme for whatever ROM you are on for they are NOT the same.
All credit goes to the developers of the ROMs (including whoever they have referenced) as well as the VTS team for Virtuous Ten Studio.

Instructions:
1. Download the proper file to SD card
2. Flash in recovery (only tested with TWRP, should work with CWR though)
3. Reboot
4. Enjoy!!!!!!!!

Personal Customization
I know that not everyone likes the same thing....and changing some of the images are pretty simple (not all of them though). Below are some quick instructions on how to do that. I'm going to use the dock background as an example.
1. Open the theme zip in 7-zip (do not unzip, just open archive)
2. Navigate to Prism.apk (system -> app -> prism.apk)
3. Double click on prism.apk and then go to res -> drawable-xxdhpi
4. The file you are looking for is home_nav_bg.jpg.
5. Drag it out of 7zip and make whatever changes you want to the picture (I personally use pixlr.com for my editing)
6. Delete the home_nav_bg.jpg from 7zip and then drag your newly created picture back into it.
7. Yes...you want to update.
8. Your theme zip should now be ready to be flashed
This only applies to .png and .jpg. It DOES NOT apply to 9.png as those require decompiling the apk...which is not something we are going to get into here.
For the BAMF theme I have my "personal preference" for the quick toggles....as in reordered and not all are shown. I'll put it back to the original an re-upload when I get a chance. Right now they are Profile-Wifi-Bluetooth-GPS-Mobile Data-Flashlight
Quick toggles have been fixed back to default.

I see that files have been downloaded since you posted this. Maybe there was an issue with the server. Try again, if it doesn't work then I'll put it up somewhere else for you.

I don't plan on switching these to Sense 4+....however I have a few themes here and Team 420 has some fantastic ones here if you haven't looked yet. Maybe you'll find one that catches your eye.

Sorry man, I don't port themes. It looks like MicroMod is coming out with a ROM soon that appears to be using that theme...maybe he can help you out.

I'm not really sure how to do that, but I'll take a look at it sometime and see what I come up with.
I updated the orange bamf theme, so if you are running that definitely download it again. I've replaced a lot more blue with orange that I think you'll enjoy.
I still plan on getting out the blue and red for bamf as well as updating the others with my progress.

Red Crushed Sense has been added for BAMF Stock Plus v2.0. Its now in the OP, so go ahead and download it there. I also updated the orange theme for BAMF to have the default quick toggles instead of what I had changed around.
Does anyone know where I change the color of the block that goes around a word once you type it? Right now its blue and its driving me crazy....can't find what I need to change to fix it. If you know the location of any sense ROM that would be great, I'm guessing it would be in the same place on Sense 5. Thanks for the help!!!!
