If you're on Verizon, it should be set to CDMA/LTE.

Ok then do I set the apn to verizon ....like hit the choice so the bubble is highlited

Just leave it on global or when you enter a low service area it will bug you constantly to switch to global. Also, you don't need to touch any apn settings.

Am I missing the option to have the phone on 3g instead of 4g lte?

Yeah, I noticed that. Download Phone Info from the market, you can switch it in there.
Go into Device Information.
You'll want to choose CDMA auto (PRL).

So, from my understanding of how the icons work, the color of the arrows indicate use.
My S4 started showing my wifi and 4G icons constantly, but somehow the bartery life is better than before somehow.
Am I reading the icons wrong?

Freeze it with titanium backup or you might be able to disable it in the app manager in settings

Is it possible to talk and go online at the same time? Any roms that has this feature? Thanks in advance

Only with a Wi-Fi or an LTE connection.

That sucks. I'm in an area with no 4G from sprint I didn't realize how convenient this feature was until I got the gn3.

Unfortunately, Samsung did not include SVDO with this phone. I think the last phone it was offered on was the Galaxy S3
