I am planning a trip to East Africa and have had trouble finding information on the frequencies used by Kenyan telecom companies. I have an Htc Amaze and Htc Radar. I am planning on taking the Radar because of the better battery life but want to know if it will work with a Safaricom sim card. Googling has turned up nothing as to what frequencies they use so I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this.
Thanks in advance.

I have became interested in this phone as it looks like a decent amount of performance and a lot more RAM than my current phone. I am wondering if anyone has found a Desire X with 850MHz 3G (as I want to use it on AT&T), the Optus model does but I can't find a place online that will allow me to buy it from USA.

So no one can find an 850MHz Desire X? Or can someone try applying a baseband for the Australian model on one of the other Desire X's? And see if 850MHz works then?
Hey Guys, I tried searching the forums everywhere already and I've come across some non-specific posts about it but I need a definite answer.
I currently own an HTC One XL locked to rogers, and I want to purchase the NEW HTC ONE. My problem is concerning the radio frequencies across the Globe. I will be as of Oct 1st be moving to australia for a year and was looking to inquire that if i bought an HTC ONE in Canada and had it unlocked, would it be compatible for use on the Telstra or Vodaphone networks for use. Of course i would be using an australian SIM but I havent been able to find any comperable information on this matter. THANKS IN ADVANCE
solved, called telstra mobile and australia works on 3g network bands only
Hi, I would really like some help picking out a new unlocked dual sim phone. I will be traveling around the world consistently and need to be able to jump on some kind of GSM service in X country. I'd also like to keep my USA based sim card in my phone as well....just in case someone back home needs to get a hold of me. And lastly, I need a phone with decent hardware specs.
So what phone would you suggest? I don't mind if the phone isn't factory unlocked...I've unlocked my Evo, Evo 4g, and Evo 4g LTE phones in the past just fine with the tutorials.
I'd really like something that isn't garbage. I keep seeing these Blu phones, but they are like $100 and seem a bit lackluster on hardware.
Is there a GSM based flagship phone out now that I can simply install a dual sim adapter into, and acquire my desired results?
Just curious what people smarter than I in the phone arena would do in my situation.
I'm using thé HTC zone m7 dual sim and it's work perfectly for me. I' m living un africa
I have same situation as you, but I am not able to find such a phone. There are dual sim flagship phone selling in Asia, however it does not support all bands in US. I may buy the new Windows phone Lumia 950XL from MS store(not from at&t because ATT version is single SIM, but MS store unlocked version is dual-SIM).
I'm thinking of purchasing HTC One Max 803s version. I'm currently on EE 4g and would like to know if this model supports EE.
Seen one and close to buying but 4g is important. Advice would be very much appreciated
bump up
Hello Everyone!
Happy new year guys!!
I had a question to ask you all. Has anyone tries using a HTC One Max on Wind mobile in Canada.
This is one of the best phones for now to me, It's specs says 2100 MHz which is what WIND operates at.
But even after unlocking and doing all the rooting and radio flashing it doesn't seem to be working.
Kindly give in your inputs to get this working!!
Thanks in advance,
Anyone!!
