[Q] Htc One Frequency Compatibility. SORRY NOOB QUESTION - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hey Guys, I tried searching the forums everywhere already and I've come across some non-specific posts about it but I need a definite answer.
I currently own an HTC One XL locked to rogers, and I want to purchase the NEW HTC ONE. My problem is concerning the radio frequencies across the Globe. I will be as of Oct 1st be moving to australia for a year and was looking to inquire that if i bought an HTC ONE in Canada and had it unlocked, would it be compatible for use on the Telstra or Vodaphone networks for use. Of course i would be using an australian SIM but I havent been able to find any comperable information on this matter. THANKS IN ADVANCE

solved, called telstra mobile and australia works on 3g network bands only

HTC Touch Pro (Euro) and U.S. T-mobile 3g

Hi,
I just got an HTC Touch Pro (Euro version not the Fuze). I pulled my T-mobile sim card from my T-mobile G1 with the U.S. T-mobile 3g plan and popped it in my new HTC Touch Pro. And can not get 3g. I've searched quite a bit through this forum and have noticed that this may not be possible from what others are saying however, many of those comments are dated and I was curious if there is any new progress on this front. Or if anyone has U.S. T-mobile 3g working on the ATT fuze?
Thanks for your time.
It's not possible to get 3G with T-Mobile in the US using the Touch Pro/Fuze. This is because T-Mobile uses the 1700Mhz band for their 3G. Currently VERY limited phones have this band built it. The G1 does, but that's about it for 'smartphones'.
It's a hardware and not a software issue.
This topic has been discussed AT LENGTH for the last 3 months. There is a thread already on this topic so please discuss this there.

US TMobile 3G on Hero?

Hi I am looking into getting a Hero. I was wondering what version of the Hero would work with the US 3G network on TMobile or AT&T. I have both services but would prefer to use this on TMobile. And how hard is it to get the phone working on the US carriers?
No 3G on both networks; EDGE only. Take a SIM, put it into the phone, voila.
Edit: I apologize for my bluntness. It's just this question has been asked ten thousand times too many :[
Not quite correct!
The Telus Hero (available in Canada) uses the correct bands for AT&T. You are still SOL on T-Mobile US though!

Telus Vs Tmobile Amaze

I searched but could not find an answer, I am in the market to buy the HTC Amaze and was wondering if an unlocked T mobile version will work on the Telus HSPA Network. I have not found anyone selling one in Canada and found a few for sale in the US but i want to make sure it will work before I take the plunge....
thanks
T Mobile 4G
I have run my HTC TMOBILE AMAZE 4G on my Fido SIM with data working and on Mobilicity. There is another thread regarding this a few pages down. I does work on every frequency available.

UPDATE SOLVED! Photon non-Sprint MCC/MNC Issue Question (Vodafone Australia)

Hi all,
I've searched the forums on this topic and have yet to come up with a satisfactory answer. I've had a look outside XDA as well.
My question (and some background) is:
I've recently changed carriers from Optus to Vodafone here in Australia and while I had no issues with my Photon working with Optus data, the APN for Vodafone simple will not stick. I've read that it has to do with carriers using non-sprint MCC/MNC (Vodas are 505 and 03). So my question is, if I root the photon and pop a custom ROM onto it, is this APN issue likely to be resolved?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Having 850mhz 3G HSPA Band on HTC ONE 801n (EU Version)

Hi everyone. I am very new to this.
I am in Australia and Australia carriers (Telstra, Vodafone, Optus etc) have their HTC ONE model 801s. I am ordering the HTC ONE from UK which has the 801n.
Between 801n and 801s, the only thing i m concerned is the 850mhz HSPA/3G, which 801s has and 801n do not.
If I get the 801n, is there a way to make it able to work on the 850mhz HSPA/3G?
I m very new to this. So sorry if there is a thread for this, but I just doesn't know which one, as I saw people saying flashing ROM or Radio is the way to change it (like having 850mhz on the 801n).
Thanks in advance.
