Well I am a newbie at this and am looking for a Jelly Bean ROM for Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i. I am absolutely lost and don't know which is a fast and stable ROM for my device.
If you could suggest any with its possible drawbacks I'd be grateful. I have heard there are many problems after upgrading to a new custom ROM ???
So can you guys give me possible options ?

Well as far as i know there's no Jelly Bean rom for 5830i at the moment. Development for cm7 is going on by our developer bieltv.3...
and comparison of roms isn't allowed on xda. Every rom has its different features, try them urself.
And pls dont make new threads for such questions, its already being asked a few times...so no point in asking agn. Search before posting..

It will not do justice to developers who put in hard work making a rom and yet threads like this points all users to a particular rom.
hi im new to android and about to buy my first galaxy s3 4g ( australian )
i decided i wanted to run the jellybam rom on my phone because it looks amazingly customisable and alot better than the touchwiz interface and then realised that jellybam is intended for the i9300
has anyone tried this ? and do you know if it will work
if not does anyone have any rom recommendations ? for the australian 4g gs3

Look under the i9305 android development thread. Jellybam for the i9300 will probably brick your phone. Please try not to ask for recommendations for roms its against the rules. It is personal preference.

Got the Samsung galaxy Ace s5830i, just come outta the box, and discovered its got some old 2.x version of gingerbread
Time to Flash a new rom i think!
Just quickly looked through the ROM's but there are loads of them.... so heres a question:
What rom is most like 4.2 Andriod Jelly Bean? I'm looking to make my phone as much like the ROM on the samsung galaxy sIII.
il be happy to hear any opinions on whats the best ROM, which looks and feels like the jelly bean 4.2 rom on the s3? (can you post links if u mention a rom please, so i can decide what to flash !)

Yeah, there is no such thing as a best rom, but im asking what people's preference is, as long as their rom looks like andriod 4.2

Don't be lazy and test roms by yourself, like everyone else. No one knows you and what you needs, so it might be hard for us to guess what is the best rom for you. So, please do not create threads like this and do this type of question further. There are plenty of roms in the style you said.

My question is, do S5830i Roms like Touchwiz-Resurrection and Reincarnation series work in S5830M? Are they the same? Will they have some errors? I have already researched about these Roms but I don't know if they will work on the S5830M, or if they will brick the device. If those two roms don't work on the S5830M, which ones do you recommend? I am not talking about which one is the best, because those treads aren't allowed here in XDA.

Yes all Roms of s5830i will work on s5830M , don't worry go head.

I completely agree with @Hitesh2626 since Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830i, S5830C and S5830M are all the same. So yeah you can flash any S5830i rom on your S5830M. Hope I Helped

I am new here.. I just wanted to knw if there is any custom rom available for galaxy mega 5.8 -GTi9152... I hv been googling for past few days bt haven't come across a single thread.. Though this is an old phone bt no custom roms available... I hv come across a few threads here which says that ppl were trying to built one bt then no news... I have been thinking the same thing its not a bad phone at all I know sombody has to have the knowledge to built a cm 11 rom I wish I could but I can barely flash a rom . I have just about give up on Samsung ever releasing kitkat for us.

Yeah bro.. I came across a few threads here where some senior members were discussing about this bt then they stopped.. I too have lost hope from Samsung.. Hope they develop something for this phone
In the development thread there is one custom rom by zaizado but it is based on old firmware
