Hi I'm still kinda new to all this.. one question with this Rom it seems when I take pictures with the HTC camera they turn out grey .. no picture just a grey rectangle. I'm not sure if its the kernal because I installed kernal and recovery 1.0.4 on first page. I've got viper x+ 1.0.8 and viperjbx sence 5 cyan . And help is apriciated
Update I've now installed 1.0.7 recovery and reinstalled the Rom to see if that has a difference .... Still no luck
I have made a logcat not sure how to upload.
Please can someone help?

Update... I've tried for days and still no solution . I would like to post this in the actual thread but I have no permisions.... Maybe I would actually get support? I have a logcat but don't know how to upload.. I've found that the small app camera on the side panel works but still does not explain why the normal camera ain't working please will someone help...

Hello, same thing happened to me using viper int version, all I did was to reboot phone and camera then worked fine and has continued to do so.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried rebooting but still no luck .. I suppose I have to try and get 10 posts before I can ask in the developers forum.. i can't even post a link for logcat because I have insufficient permissions ... Suck when Itw a possible easy fix

You could try Layapota's camera mod, perhaps your camera app is screwed up:

Or try wiping and reinstalling the rom then installing one of the latest kernels in the development section marked [kernel] in the post title.

I've downloaded the app now how will I go about removing the old camera and installing this one?.... Tried installing over the top of the faulty one but it said ... App not installed. Will I have to add this to the viper zip? Like take old camera out and replace then reinstall Rom?

Well its a system app so u can't install it, needs to be placed into the system/app folder which will over ride the current file, then assign permissions.
Or just flash the zip in the recovery, look at the links in my signature if u need more assistance for installing.

Hi all, i´m giving a try on the [ROM] 24/12/12 Cm10 hox+ international by Lloir and so far it feels great the only thing i´ve noticed is that in some apps i don´t have acces to settings. For exemple, Adaway and Gmail, with sense these apps would show the 3 dots buttom to access the menus but with cm10 it´s not there and i can´t see a way to get there. Is that a real issue or just me being dumb?

Still the same Lloir, also the multiple touch is failing, when use the second finger it stops recognizing the first one for a while.
I´ll wipe everything and try a fresh start. Thank you for the help anyway!

What errors? PSM or downloading the app? For Cubixx, there was a message that any file above 20MB requires a Wi-Fi connection. There's no way to change this in the settings. You need to be on a Wi-Fi connection in order to download the app.

If you are using Viper Rom you can find PSM in the Viper Hub under addons , works with no issues so far for me, only issue was flashing which is attempted in recovery with an auto flash.......didn't work so just install from sdcard find the file ....under viper - addons - etc.....

Very strange. I obviously didn't have this launch error or I wouldn't have posted it as such. Just like redtechjunky, I'm on ViperDNA. Perhaps there's something in the ROM that makes this work properly? I didn't know about the Venom Hub installation either. Nice tip.

I'm on viper. I uninstalled it then used venom hub and it works fine now.

this happens to me after the app asks to be updated is this the same for you?
I'm on viper rom when I try to open cubix it just goes to black screen and nothing happens

It's strange how some people, like myself, didn't need any additional files and some people did. It shows you how quirky these phones are.
On Virtuous Rom, didn't need any additional files. This was posted over at Android Central a few days ago with a direct link to the Playstation apk. Everything running fine.
As long as yer rooted. This should work.

Works great. I didn't follow the instructions initially.
4-after booting you must go to app settings and wipe data for browser from all apps or you will allways get force close
they lost me there. I'm suppose to go through all my apps one by one and wipe data? I got over 100 apps. Our just data from the browser app? could someone please clarify?

It should be just the browser app
I tried that and it still FC'd on me, had to restore the OEM browser.

Tried the instructions, flashed zip in recovery, wiped cache and dalvik cache, rebooted then cleared data, defaults for browser app in settings/applications/all applications...
Running latest Android Revolution HD 6.5 Rom, it worked when I was running viper x 1.0.8 now when running android revolution HD it doesnt replace the sense browser... When I tap on browser it still opens the sense browser instead of the AOSP one... Any advice ? Maybe I missed something ?

Try reflashing again if it didn't work extract the browser.apk then copy it to system/app using recovery file manager and make sure to mount system

Its OK, I pulled them from a deodexed ROM including task manager that was missing also, I still do r have a TV icon though, oh well, please close thread or delete please.

Sorry for all the posts Lol, I tried to edit and pressed wrong option
When I try to edit a photo with depth info and I select "stickers", it takes me to a page of blank white boxes (no stickers). When I tap on one of the boxes, it gives me the error "Unfortunately, Gallery has stopped".
I never tried to use stickers before, so I just noticed this. I'm stock and rooted. Is anyone else having this issue or can you replicate it? I'm wondering if the last gallery update did this.

Heres the fix for it, have to flash from twrp but it fixes the stickers issue... Tested and works fine

I dont think so as Im not rooted on my backup...was completely stock...so i am thinking theres an issue with the updated gallery

no clue...but the zip i attached link for fixes it..i am assuming the data/preload folder gets deleted when htcdev unlocks the bootloader which is why this occurs
