It seems that the popping sound only happens on sense roms. It didn't happen when I was on aosp. Has anyone found a fix yet?

Sense ROM + Beats Audio= popping sounds.
AOSP+ no Beats Audio support = no popping.
What I'm trying to get at, it's a Beats Audio issue not a sense issue

Should be able to be fixed though.

Beats audio
There's a setting somewhere on the phone, can't remember where, to turn on or off beats audio - makes a BIG difference in the sound, even without using the special beats by dr dre headsets you can buy. They're a bit expensive, imo
OK I got the device I have senheisser CX 300II
And sound is amazing

Beats
It's a sound enhancement software. Sounds really good paired up with a pair of Beats audio headphones.(which I don't have )
Lol its an eq setting, and an advertising gimmick
Has anyone had any success with this feature on sense jb? Works fine on the N7 but crashes immediately on my EVO.

Nope. Doesn't work. Will probably be fixed in the next htc update.
Does anyone else notice the odd sound the HTC One uses when touch sounds are enabled. Not sure if the default sound is supposed to sound like a faint glass tap so wanted to get anyone's feedback. What does your touch sound sound like?

Yes mine is the same.

Perhaps it's the standard sound. Kind of a strange selection, don't you think?

I actually enjoy the touch sounds.. I've been through many phones and this is the only phone with which I have left that option on.

So, as of recently, I can hear an occasional tick from my phone whenever I'm doing certain things, especially moving around files, and such. What can this mean?

The only "tick" I've ever heard is when using my camera. I can't imagine being able to hear any noise from the CPU/GPU.

I've heard it when I use custom kernels like arc reactor. It goes away if you disable the touch sound from sound settings.

Weird
Your ears must be much better than mine:thumbup:
Too much jet noise and gunfire over the years, I suppose

I'm always on Arc, so I can agree...partially. I don't have touch sounds selected, however. My audio is pretty quiet, so I know that the tick doesn't belong.

Mine would happen if increased the headphone gain from the sound control in init.d.
Well. The only reason I'm on the Google play edition is because without beats audio the speakers sound not good. So I was wondering if there is an option or equalizer setting I can put to make It sound better than stock non beats audio

poweramp from the play store
I guess the DSP manager would be what I would use to enhance the speaker equalizer around the whole device. Just need to find what's right.
