Update your twrp to the newest version I think it's 2.5.0.0 the easiest way is to use goomanager and select install recovery

PLEASE HELP ME! D:
You have a bad sdcard. Guaranteed. Read the error. Look at the pathway. The common denominator is 'external_sdcard'.
Move your ROMs to internal storage and try again.

Recovery 3e will not work requires CWM 4 and above .
CWM recovery Install zip from sd card >>Toggle Signature Verification.
That fails check that rom thread possible faulty file .

allright will try that and report back later

Agree with last post unless instructions tell you to use rom manger then dont use it .
A clue as to what rom might have helped .
Questions = Q&A section .

Theres a way of turning the verification off let me boot into recovery and refresh my memory
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Under install sd card you can toggle image verification. Turn this to off but check the md5 of the rom and make sure its not a corrupt download
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
I've tried cyanogenmod and miui.
Follow the instructions from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1176411
Note from the instructions: do not flash from ROM Manager when you're flashing CM7 the for the first time.

You have to put the update.zip on the root of your internal sd, which means NO folder.

Rooting doesn't give you the ability to flash ROMs, you have to have the bootloader unlocked and have a custom recovery such as twrp or cwm.
Thought you needed it unlocked to have a rom on it to start with. It has the cleanrom se1.5 on it now

Ok, you didn't say that you only said it was rooted.
What steps are you taking to flash a new ROM?
You said it fails, what's the failure?
Have you tried going into recovery mode? Turn off your phone, press and hold volume up+home button+and power button till u reach the boot animation then release the buttons. You will either be in cwm or twrp. If you reached this step, then you can flash a rom that is built for your specific note 2 version. From the recovery menus you can follow the necessary steps to install. Let us know what you see.
Ps make sure you do a back up just incase

To do this get GooManager from the Play Store, and follow the directions in the description. I believe you press menu and then install a script.

I'd clean the phone up and return it to stock. Start from there.
Also, are you using a custom recovery like twrp or cwm? also, is your BL unlocked?
More info is needed to assist you further, broseph.

Did you check the md5 and what ROM are you flashing?
Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2
how does a person check the md5 and i have tried the beans11 and jedi10 and both have errors and fail
There is an option in TWRP that makes it look for an MD5 match... but unless you have the MD5 accessible to TWRP it will fail and not install.
Make sure the option is not checked when you go to flash.
To manually check the MD5 yourself to verify your downloads... you need an app on your PC that has the ability. Google will point you right.
Then to check the MD5, you have the app analyze the file and compare it to the MD5 provided in the ROM thread.
thanks unchecked the md5 stuff and it works thanks
Here's the latest full stock plus root, OTA-Global-Stock-4.05.605.14 710RD-Rooted ROM. This is NOT deodexed, but stock. Any dev can use as base, just credit. Thanks
DOES NOT HAVE RADIO, OR FIRMWARE!!!!
I don't use Rezound anymore, so cannot provide much support. I activated it temporarily so I could make this rom.
Flash from recovery. S-Off phones get boot.img installed also. Or boot.img needs to be pulled and flashed in fastboot or u might not boot. Flash at your own risk!
Download:

Any chance you can post some of the mods as separate flashable pieces? I saw you posted a slightly modded version of this rom and was wondering if you could post some for those of us already on this rom.
U can dirty flash that Rom on top of this rom with no issues.

I have the leaked Global RUU 4.03.605.2 710RD. Can I wipe and flash this over it? or is the old Global too high of a version number on the firmware? I am S-On so I know you can't go back in firmware. I'm guessing this firmware is higher as it's 4.05.605.14, but I want to know for sure before I start playing.
its been a while since I run stock rom.. does anybody know why my phone shows up as a CD drive? BTW, SDcard and internal shows up fine

Because there's an *.iso file Verizon Wireless puts on the phone that the PC finds when it connects (and then autolaunches a website offering to have you download HTC sync).
I can't remember where it is, but I run pure stock rooted/S-OFF now and I found it and removed it and now when I connect to PC the PC doesn't think it's got a CD-ROM drive. Check \system or \etc or any of those directories off the root.
I got error while installing the zip file. The error message:
E: Error executing updater binnary in zip '/sdcard
Error flashing zip '/sdcard/OTA-Gloval-Stock-4.0
Updating partition details...
E: Unable to mount '/emmc'
E: Unable to mount '/emmc'
E: Unable to mount internal storage
Can anyone please show me how to solve this?
I am S-Off, TWRP v.2.5.0.0
Thanks!
