^^Install USB Drivers Using LG Support Tool from Here
^^Hard Reset:
If your phone needs to be restored to its original condition, use Hard Reset to reboot
your phone.
1 When the phone is switched off, press and hold the Volume down key + Hot key
+ Power key.
2 Release the Power key when the LG logo appears on the screen.
3 Release Volume down key + Hot key when the LG logo disappears. After a while,
Android robot will be displayed and recovery will proceed.
Leave your phone for at least a minute while the hard reset is carried out. You will then
be able to switch your phone back on.

1.Download this File
2.Extract it to somewhere..Desktop..My Documents...anywhere where it is handy!
3.IMPORTANT if you have installed drivers from above step SKIP this else download LG Drivers from the LG site LINK
4.Now go to the extracted folder and install msxml. (MUST)
5.If You are on this step RELAX take a break!! Drink something REFRESHING!!
6.Restart phone in emergency mode= hold the volume "down" and insert the USB cable(When phone is off)(Will Have Yellow Screen)
7.Now Open KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
8.In Type Select 3GQCT , In Phone Mode Select DIAG , In KDZ select the KDZ file you've downloaded.Then Hit Launch Software Update
9.Sit Back and relax while the KDZ file is flashed.If some error message is popped relax.After the Process is complete the Phone is rebooted.
10.Now Install this SuperSu Pro 1.25 LINK
11.Update Binary in SuperSu by going to preferences.
12.Stand Up, Be proud of yourself You Have Successfully Rooted your phone!
13.Hard Reset (If you have any problem after flashing)

You sure its AME and not ARE?
And your Country?
Well I rooted my P71510c-IND-XX with this kdz and nothing bad happened,so i think you can give a try!

There is no major difference between two firmwares of different countries,I think the only difference would be some preinstalled apps or languages supported for that country in that firmware! However all firmware has English language so there's no great problem.
Also the latest firmware (any country) is always better and bug free!

Amigo u can change language settings of keyboard any time....
Goto Settings-> Language and Input-> Language

If u want to flash custom kernal u should unlock ur boot loader..
Bt u can instal custm roms withoul bl unlocking!most of the roms suport both bootloarders.
But without rooting and&cwm u cant do anything

can you please suggest a rom with locked bootloaders which is of 4.2.2!? i can not find any... also i m unable to unlock my boot loaders because when i try to unlock bootloaders with SE bootloader unlocking unlock code field turns gray and doesn't respond further... don't know where did i go wrong!

There isn't any rom with 4.2.2 Android for locked bootloader.
For 4.1 & 4.2 you must change your kernel which is impossible without unlocking bootloader.
You should check in service menu if is possible to unlock bootloader in your phone, and (if yes) try Sony official method.

Hi when i tried to edit this file in my mobile but it shows error cant edit this file. I tried by using ES File Explorer. Is there any other way to edit the above mentioned fine. If yes kindly help me to tell me the flow.

I edited it with ES File Explorer too.. but without any problem or error.
You can copy it with ES File Explorer to your sd-card, and then edit it on your pc with notepad++ and then get it back where it belongs on your phone.
OR... copy it(custom_settings.xml) on your sd card, just to have backup (not you will not need it ) and then delete the custom_settings.xml in etc/customization... /phone.
Don't be afraid to delete it

No need of editing and all that just dial *#*#4636#*#* and select phone information
- look for WCDMA preferred click on it and change to GSM only..

Right now am using this method to change the network kalyan. But am using Airtel 2G(500mb) and 3G(500mb) pack. so everytime i need to go n change manually some places 3G network not available means not reachable is coming.

The settings that we are talking about are not in the kernel or baseband, so excluding those will do nothing to the "network mode selection".
Why dont you just ROOT YOUR PHONE ?

Read about this tool for backup without root, there are other one's too probably.
If you don't want to root.. just flash the b.1.54 firmware, and you will have the option to change 2g/3g without rooting.

Well.... if you select "use only 3g" it will use only 3g, and if its not selected.. it will use the one that's available 3g or 2g, or is it that you want "only 2g" option ?
Try editing the system\etc\customization\settings\com\android\phone\custom_settings.xml
If you delete the lines in red, and reset your phone.. then you will get an option to choose

Download flashtool and unlock ur bootloader......
y bcz .100 build cant be rooted directly u shud flash other kernel for ICS and den u can root or directlyu can flash kernel which is prerooted

XOLO X1000 was believed to be root protected. Not anymore, follow the below steps to get it rooted.
As far as i know its the only rooting method available, so if anyone has knowledge of other rooting method pls share as it might help in further development.

I did a little research and realized that it has to do with a borked systemui.apk. So could you please give me your systemui.apk by any chance? I'm kinda screwed here without the soft keys.. Yup sure.
Im uploading both systemUI.apk and systemUi.odex. You might need to replace both. And remember to correct permissions.

Only method known yet is to flash stock firmware from here.
And Xolo wont help if we have a software issue. Software is supplied by intel and xolo supplies it. Colo engineers also seem to be novice.
I luckily had an opportunity to meet their software manager. I asked him if he could provide a unlocked bootloader, he was unaware of what a bootloader is. They only distrubute OTA Updates.

Yeah, I had a similar experience about their engineers. They mentioned to me too, that the Bootloader is not in their hands.. Well, that's what happens when you try a budget company. All we can hope for is updates, now..
I was all set to buy the Galaxy Grand Quattro but i thought I'd try Xolo, for the Processor and the beautiful screen.. Guess I should've stuck to my instincts

Guys! Now that we finally rooted the phone, let's try doing the one thing that can make our devices fulfill their worth.. That is finding a way to run windows 7 or Windows 8 on the phone. I'm not talking about wp7 or wp8 but the actual windows.. The phone has an x86 processot. So why can't this be done?! 2Ghz and 1GB ought to be enough for a smooth experience.. Guys, please try to work on this..

Well, I downloaded the ROM and all I found was an .nbo file.. I don't think it's a ROM (They're mostly zip files right?) Tell me if it's usable or not, when you're free of course..

Thats shocking!! Install this. What does it say?
Edit: Supersu doesnt work for many phones, dont rely on that! Use Super user. BusyBox works fine on mine. Just check if you haven't set Automatic response=Deny in Super user->settings->security.

As I promised, Take this goodie from me. Another Stock Kitkat. This is based on F180L firmware.
This is only flashable via Philz Recovery. No other recovery is supported as of now.
Statutory Warning: It is your phone. Do not blame me for anything. I am not responsible for any harm you do to your device.
Most things are fixed. It includes Stock music app, Stock boot animation from LG(I really like this!). Integrated vu talk with the contacts app. Knock Off support, Three finger Slide, OSP and many more things you will just love,
This is just a test version, so some things do not work!
1st when you install the rom, the1st screen greets you with English, suddenly this changes to Korean(it might be other also). Again change to English in the same page. Then it fixes to English.
2nd Root does not work. You have to flash SuperSu
3rd MTP SD card is not working. means when connected to computer, the SD is showing as blank. Media scanner is also failing. Will see this soon.
4th, 5th, 6th you report...
Now the detailed steps:

One small suggestion @gourab4u can you put the md5 check-sum of the file, that way i and others can check if the ROM is downloaded correctly before flashing, and thank you again!

Did u face any problem with WiFi ? i tried porting the ROM and WiFi wasn't working ... even Logs were not helping in figuring out the things
EDIT : For getting pics , music in gallery & music player from external SD , download app "SD Scanner" From Market ,
Open it & change the path to scan from "storage/emulated/sdcard0" to "storage/sdcard1"
Let the scan complete .. u'll be able to see all the stuff from External SD & also some stuff will be accessible in computer
via MTP Mode ...

I suppose, that device may not be fully rooted - is that possible? Can I check this in any way? Which App to check this is best (from google play)?

I think and i saw this error on new phones that are "arranged" with gapps from china!
The google apps are not installed corectly!
Can i ask what original ROM do you have ?

CN -china !

Hmmm... this is a little bit harder!
For complete backup you must do a trick and flash a custom recovery like TWRP. From the recovery you must do a full backup af your existing ROM.
After that you can replace your ROM with one i have showed you !
Try to reboot your phone in recovery and see iff you have allready a custom one !

Because you have your rom rooted you could download from market a small app called : Reboot to recovery !
Orr power off the phone and start with power vol- and vol+ pressed !

About the storage- I suppose that my P780 is 4gig-version.

Seems that you have stock recovery installed. You need to reflash one of that custom recovery.

Install from market Titanium Backup. Open it and on the first page take a screenshot and post here. I need to see the partitioning tipe.

Hmm, but to install that I have to clean all cahces and temporary.

how can I backup all my phone? What and how should I do ?
Is there any play store safe app to do that?
I suppose that I need to replace the Andorid recovery? Or maybe I would can do that without removing it?
