Hello,
I have built a new application named MusicTimeOff. You can find it in this link
A big part of coding was done with my nexus 7.
The app stops the music after a certain period of time which use will define.
This idea came to me when I left my phone playing music at night and in the morning it was dead ( battery 0% ) so I thought a program to stop music will be useful. Furthermore , the other apps in the market is more complicated and some of them is paid, so I developed this app alone.
There are also other useful features.
Check it out , it worths the time.
great! thanks bro!!

Yet to check..but still thank you so much for developing something and sharing!!

Do we have to launch this app every time we start music or will it kick in automatically?

you can use an oldschool xt9 keyboard. i dont know if thats what you are looking for. if so you can go to
settings> language and keyboard> samsung keyboard settings> portrait keyboard types> 3*4 keyboard
I wish it was. I've been searching all over with no luck. I've left messages on Samungs Facebook page hoping somebody would be able to answer it.

Could try to rip it from the int version
any update on this? the international one handed operation option looks like a must, really well done
Let me know if u find anything out this would be nice
I asked for it here. I havent gotten around to trying it yet! I hope it works!

There's a paid app on the market called "onehand keyboard" by alexey that mimics the not updated keyboard's functionality. I'm gonna try it

I just tried it out, and it seems to work fine, problem for me is I got used to using Swype and don't want to get rid of it.
Now if I could only find a one handed Swype keyboard, that would be awesome.

It is exactly what I'm looking for, EXCEPT, it seems to have an ability to keylog. I don't want creditcard info ect. to be known by this developer. Uninstalled.

I am not getting the international version to work. I'm sure its a simple fix, but its above my grade. I would love it if a dev would pick up this project.
Spotify EQ (music effects) lost after changing to Cassie's XtraLiteRom. Any way to get it back?
Other then that, a great experience. Recommended!

Which version you installed. Most likely need hearingdro.apk placed in system apps and permissions set as per others.

Thank you for taking the time!
I'll try this out.
Tried that but it didn't do it/ was not enough.
The EQ function is there when using another equlizer from Play Store, spotify's own
is not there though. I think I go for another EQ atm. Thanks for the time!
Daniel
As far as I have read spotify users the roms eq or thurd party eq and does not have its own but I dont use the app so cannot say.
Did you set permissions on the apk.
The only other thing would possibly be musixfx.apk but doubtfull on that.

Solved
Yes, the musicFX.apk did it
I was a bit impressed with the other downloaded EQ tough so I might stay with that while..
Anyway, thanks for solving my problem!

Based on the info by @Arsaw on this THREAD, I made a simple app to easily add more apps to the list of Ultra Power Saving Mode supported apps. If the method described by Arsaw works on your S5 then this app should hopefully work as well, otherwise, there is no way I could make it work. This app only saves the list but in no way guarantee that the apps will work on ultra power saving mode or not. There could be issues with some apps so be aware of the limitations.
This is an initial test release. I have not tested it on a real S5 device but I have tested it on my Note 3 using an S5 ported Rom and hopefully it should work on a real S5 as well.
Just download below, install, run, select the apps you want, save (make sure you grant superuser root access) and it will save the list to the corresponding csc file.
Credit: Thanks to @Arsaw for the INFO.
Tested on my Note2, working perfectly ?.
Thanks a lot. You're simply awesome ?

zip file
When I download this, it is a zip file and hence unzipping doesn't give me the apk file to install per the installation instructions. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks.

Maybe you can try holding a partial wakelock using soft locker or knockr from play store, when listening to music in UPSM.

Looking good!
I tried it on T-mobile S5. It takes a very long time to enter and exit UPSM (which was already slow). I only added the additional four apps, any ideas? I do have a lot of apps installed, is it loading and un-loading all of them or something?
Thanks

I have 80 apps installed and it takes normal timing to load with this app/mod.
I deleted some apps that I recently installed but I'm still seeing adds on my phone. It's not just in browsers but in places like gallery when I'm viewing my photos. The weird thing is I started to notice this when I installed adaway. But I uninstalled this and other apps but it didn't help. It takes up the whole screen and i have to click no thanks to install whatever its saying to install. Any way to find out what's causing this?

Run an anti malware program. These ads could be part of an app you installed. Even if you in installed them the ads stay embedded. I use Malwarebytes
