My phone wasn't connecting to HTC media link so I rebooted it and it got stuck on the htc one boot up screen. Rebooting it by holding down the power button gives the same result. I restored to the same condition while received this phone. Used Titanium to restore all my apps. Went into superSU and superSU asked me to update. I did and after it flashed the new superuser, it got stuck again. (I didn't flash any rom, I was just using stock rom rooted.)
Anyone has bumped into this problem and got any solutions?
Do you have custom recovery? If so try clearing dalvik cache and cache & fix permissions and see if that will solve the boot hang

Hi all,
I rooted my phone using to toolkit and now when i install a new rom using recovery it gets stuck on the splash screen. So for example when i install cynogenmod once the phone has been rebooted it gets stuck on the rotating image. I cleared the cashe etc but still the same. I also tried engergyHD rom and the same thing happens. My phone says rooted on the superuser app..any ideas? Thanks
Are you doing a full wipe? Not just the cache

Hi!
I have a problem with my LG Optimus 3D (P920). Installed the JellycreamV3 and it went good, untill everything was complete and I restarted the phone as instructed. Now my phone stucks at startup logo. Its been like that for hours but nothing happends? I have tried to restarted it several times without any resaults. Please help me. Its my first attempt to install new android version.
Perhaps your install was bad, try reinstalling it, or maybe you didn't clear the cache, system, data?

- Boot into Recovery again
- Wipe data/cache and go to "Advanced" and wipe Dalvik (yes, this will delete everthing, but you don't exactly have a choice)
Reboot. If it's still hanging
- Boot into Recovery again
- Re-flash ROM
And BTW, didn't you make a backup of your original ROM? If not, well.. you won't go any places fast. Another tip is to go to the thread where you downloaded the ROM and ask for help there. People there have flashed the ROM, and some may have had the same issue as you have now.
I try to go into recover-mode but it just starts up and get stuck on the logo:S I did a backup but no matter how i press the buttons to access the recover-mode the phone just starts up and the LG logo comes up. Then its stuck there
Hello. I'm trying to restore my phone to factory settings, as I'm no longer using it and have someone who would like it. However, when I try to flash a rom, it would say 'successful(flashing via TWRP ofc)', and I would clear the cache, and reboot to system. However, when I do this it just gets stuck on the HTC Quietly Brilliantly splashscreen. I updated my TWRP to the latest version(2.7.0.0), however this pretty much removed the folder 'sdcard' and renamed it to 'internal storage' or something similar. Right now, I have it plugged in to the back of my computer, and it is stuck on the splashscreen. As a last resort, I have come to XDA-Developers as you guys are the ones I can trust at the moment. Any help?
Try flashing TWRP 2.6.3.3 then reflash the rom then clear the cache and reboot.

I rooted my device a few days ago in order to stop the 4.1 ota update, I am currently on 4.0.4 and the device is an xt912.
Today I decided to install safestrap and after installing the recovery and booting into it, I backed up the stock rom.
After backing it up, I clicked on reboot to system.
The device then jumped into a bootloop.
So I cleared cache, dalvik cache, and even factory reset but it won't pass the DROID eye.
So I created a new slot and restored my early backup and to my suprise, it booted up.
I then rebooted back to recovery and cleared system, data, cache and dalvik cache of stock slot and restored the same back up there and rebooted, and it booted up nicely. But after that the recovery kind of disappeared. So I installed safestrap apk again and rebooted to recovery to make sure it flashed.
I was able to boot into the recovery but as I tried to boot back into the rom, I got stuck in a boot loop again.
My problem is if I reinstall the recovery, the device gets stuck in a bootloop, unless I wipe everything and restore my backup.
Also when turn off the phone and connect it to wall charger, the battery sign doesn't show up again.
Can u guys help me out??
Doesn't matter if I loose my stuff.
I just want a working 4.0.4 with root and to be able to charge the device when it's off.
(BTW my version of safestrap is 3.3.0 I think. Its 3 point something.)
I need help ASAP.

Fixed the problem. Updated TWRP, enabled SU and root, re-flashed the boot image and re-installed the ROM. Did a factory reset and now the phone boots. I have a HTC One m8. Have unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP. Tried installing crDroidAndroid-7.1.2-20170801-m8-v3.6.1. Didn't work out so well. Said it failed - unable to mount system. Then it rebooted and started to load but crashed at the CR Droid splash screen. Tried factory reset, various wipes. Don't know what to do next. Anyone have any ideas? Also, it won't turn off. just reboots.
