Update HTC Desire X to 4.1.1 - HTC Desire X

Hey Guys,
So today I got a message saying I can update to Android 4.1.1. So I downloaded it, and it started installing fine until my phone restarted and it booted into clockworkmod recovery and then nothing happened. How can I fix this??
I read somewhere that you need to stock recovery to be able to update, if so how can I go back to the stock recovery?
Thanks

Mmm...I just got one of these for my girl just last week.
Unlocked boot loader...rooted...and then checked out that there was an update...
faaark...
...but I'm unsure if it's something to do with bootloader...or CWM...
maybe using stock recovery will be fine to do the update?

Re-flashing the stock recovery and re-locking the bootloader wasn't enough, at any rate.

Trying to flash the update ZIP from CWM didn't work either. Re-installing the stock RUU (after relocking the phone) seems to have worked on the other hand; the update took a while to install but is now churning along nicely. Of course, this means losing all of your data; I'm using "Ultimate Backup Tool" (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1844032) to mitigate some of the losses. It's not perfect, but it does help.
Well I m from India and I received the same update,
then I relocked my boatloader and unlocked it again then i flashed the stock recovery and the update was installed successfully ....
U can get the stock recovery from 25th post in thread

You could make a nandroid backup, flash RUU, install OTA update, (unlock bootloader again?), flash CWM and restore /data.
Just extract the ROM.zip from the RUUs available maybe that'l work? Or is there an hboot update?

[Q] Rooted HTC Desire X software update problem

I am using a rooted HTC Desire X. Recently I received an update notification saying there is a software update. So after download the update, it cannot be installed. Is there any solution to this?
The software package is OTA_PROTO_U_ICS_40A_hTC_Asia_WWE_1.18.707.1-1.14.707.1_release_295253uus4cbfd6ubkm2gm.zip
Any one face the same problem?
My phone Bootloader still remain unlock.
I have tried to lock my Bootloader and install the package and it can't work.
Hope to get some solution from all expert here.
Thank you.
You have to flash the stock recovery and lock your bootloader, then you'll be able to install the update

I've successfully updated to 1.18.707.1 via OTA on rooted asian Desire X (HTC_044) (didn't knew that it was rooted just got it from pall and hit update when notification popped-up) but after that sound speaker on my phone stopped to work. Any suggestions how to fix that?

You can only do the OTA update with stock recovery.
Search for a stock recovery or run a RUU.

No need to relock Bootloader.
Follow these steps.
1. Unlock Bootloader.
2. Flash Stock Recovery : Tutorial - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36138826&postcount=2
Use the stock recovery.img attached here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=39658620&postcount=1
3. Recheck for Software Update and Download the update.
It should work for you. Everything should be stock and bootloader status doesn't matter.

In my case, when I updated from ICS, JB was rooted too (I think). I don't know exactly because when I updated and made nandroid backup, I flashed the Deodexed JellyBean that ckpv5 uploaded. Did you try to install superuser/supersu like in ICS?
