Have you tried other roms & kernels..
Changing governers.. If yes it may be battery problem

I have the same problem with a non original battery,is that your case?
Inviato da me!

improper installations sometimes occur in android which leads to extra machine cycles...this leads to fast battery drain...before switching to another kernel first flash stock rom...leave it for two 3 days....check whether battery is working good...then move on to another one

Try clearing battery stats and Calibrating battery first.
Now charge your phone upto 100%. Then keep the battery out for atleast 15 mins then reinsert the battery. Turn on the phone charge the battery again to 100% and check if it fixes the prob. Also I won't recommend u using any kind of battery saving app, etc...
Cheers,
AJ
alokbina is now Abhinav2

Use battery doctor or battery guru.. Both are good applications.. Better battery life always charge to 100%

Thanks to all
Thanks to all for reply to my threads i will try out this steps
Thanks

[Q] ROM with the best battery life?

hi.
I am using CM7 now which is great, but since I am going to a trip abroad I need to temporary change to a ROM with GPS, but most inportant, with a great battery life.
I don't need any great performance like CM7, I just need the battery to last long.
Any recommendations?
Thanks.

from my experience best battery i have on this rom i flashed this rom yesterday and charge it to 100% and run batt calibration it is preinstalled in this rom when you run batt calibration after that unplug your phone from charger and use it till total discharge and do not turn your phone on charge it to 100% again and its ok i've did it and play some games wi fi is enabled always i've use gps for 15 minutes and from yestarday till today so now i have 82% batt so i thing this is the best for batt
oh by the way lag fix is enabled to
Thank you. Do you know if calibrating the battery is useful even if I have one extra battery and I switch between the two batteries if necessery?
I don't know about the two battery thing, but i do agree that Project V have great battery life. Im using Super Dragon Modz kernel OCed to 1.3, and the phone its doing pretty nice till now. I unplugged it like 2 hours ago, and it still show 100%. On CM7, i would be around 75 to 80% by now. Battery life was the reason that i came back to Froyo.
WOW that's great battery life! Thanks a lot.
i don't konw about 2 batteries but calibrating is usefull it's helping 98% bug after unplug and it's greating a new battstat file what is realy nice project v6 is very good rom for battery i did't tried super dragon
I don't see how callibrating the battery helps extend battery life? The battery remains at the same capacity and draining any battery completely shortens the lifespan of the battery. I can see that the system might get a better prediction of battery life... But you get that regardless after using the phone for a few days / week...

download this from playstore:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration
charge till 100%, start the app, press calibrate and then unplug your phone from charger. your phone must be rootet.
after calibration use your phone till it has only 1 or 2 % left, then charge again to 100% without interrupt. dont calibrate again.
if the problem still isnt fixed with calibration, try this:

...It could be that your power meter has gone wonky and this can be reset by charging the phone to 100% and then removing the battery and the usb cable from the phone for 10 minutes. Return the battery to the phone and charge it back up to 100%.

My friend, i can see you have problem with the batery life. I don't know if any of you has noticed this, but when the phone is charging and it reaches 100%, you shouldn't remove the charger. The phone is still charging even after reaching 100%,sometimes for half an hour. If you want to see when the phone is fully charged, go to Settings-About phone-Phone status. In the first field you can find if the phone is or is not fully charged. Try this and let's see what happens. I hope i can help some of you.

Can you post a screenshot from the first battery screen? That one will show which process are using the battery up. In places of the screen shot you posted, it looks like there is a problem with your phone staying awake when the screen is off.

and yesterday night i put my phone again into charging and today morning it is showing 100% and after 6 hours of moderate use it is still 100%

then just calibrate your battery
You might also check if any apps in particular drain your battery.
For example Wackelock Detector might help.
What is your firmware build version?
How fast does battery frain and under what use?
How much drain you get for overnight standby?
Downlad the app @lobbos posted, and in setting check statistics since unplug.
Charge the phone full and see what battery stats and Wakelock Detector stats, for overnight standby.
Post screen capture for them both.

[Q] Problem with the Battery :/ (Software)

Hi guys, i have a problem with the battery :/ in my lww
I was in CyanogenMod 10.2 (Android 4.3) with the nAa Kernel, develpo by mike. Now, i decide to use ICS, because mi brother will to use my smartphone. I flash stock ICS Rom .587 and the Kernel Panic. This is the configuration that i was using before to use CyanogenMod.
The problem is the battery. When i charge the smartphone up to 100%, and disconnect, get a battery drain in 30 minutes. :crying:
i dont know what happening. i flashed another kernels and the problem persist. i flashed other ICS kernels and the problem persist. i test the battery in other lww, but works fine.
any suggestion? somebody have a similar problem?
Cheers
Okay, this is what you need to do now, drain it empty, charge it (while phone off) till 100 %. Remove the battery, wait for 90 sec or so, put it back and power on.
It's a placebo, but it might work.
if it doesn't help try this
get battery calibration from play store.
Run the app, when it gets to 100 % hit calibrate. Plug off the device. Turn off.
Take out the battery for 90 sec again, reinsert it and power it on.
hit thnxx if i help u..!!
Do check the battery tab in the settings to see which app is responsible fr this.
U have tried diff kernals. Try to change to a stock ICS based rom and see if the problem persists..
I too have a similar problem..my battery is draining even when the display is off..by night within 5-6 hours the battery drops by 50% or so..experienced this first in lupus+miui in last week..tried wiping battery status bud didnt worked..also changed both rom and kernel,bt no use..this happened suddenly and so it may not b a hardware issue..also during some nights the battery is not draining ubnormally..
in battery status it's showing that my fon is waking frequently even if i'm not using..I've put all the automatic sync off and no change..
is this the same problem experiencing by u?
can anyone help please?
thanks in advance
Used to happen to me when I was on ics now I switched to Jb

s3 battery Discharges so fast,.. help

hello everyone!, i have a serious battery problems:
1. battery charging takes min 8 hrs!!
2. battery Discharges very very fast
i changed battery and charger and it still the same...
BUT notice that when the phone is off - charging takes 1-2 hrs
i dont know what its the problem, can someone help? thanks.
Have the same flash boeffla kernel and increase the charging of your charger and your battery will load very fast
Device: Samsung Galaxy S3
ROM: CyanogenMod 11 (Temasek Unofficial V36 )
Kernel: Boeffla-Kernel-CM11-2.1-Beta9-
1-2 hours is normal for a charge, actually its very decent. Run full charges only. Charge ONLY when battery is less than 20% and charge continuously till 100%. Check you battery usage. If you have bluetooth, wifi, 3g and whatnot on all the time your battery life will be bad and will take longer to charge.
Search the web there are many more specific solutions.
Specify if you are on stock rom and kernel.
Edit: I would NOT increase charging current. It will decrease your battery life in long run.

hi guys,
i have s3 4.3 stock rom and kernel,
i saw in battery usage that the screen is 90% .....does it normally?!??!?
it seems like the screen is draining my battery, what can i do??
Lower screen brightness If you are gaming then there is hardly any solution for that. As the post before says, install better battery stats so we can help you further. Also sometimes other things draining battery may come under one name such as 'screen'. Its not new.
