I flashed experiance v2 ROM(for Xperia Sola & U) and calibrated battery with this app --> https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.nema.batterycalibration&hl=lv (no need to download it s preinstalled in experience v2 ROM) And it seems battery holds more than ever. 2 days and 13 hours on battery with 66% left(normal use)

then just calibrate your battery

You might also check if any apps in particular drain your battery.
For example Wackelock Detector might help.

What is your firmware build version?
How fast does battery frain and under what use?
How much drain you get for overnight standby?
Downlad the app @lobbos posted, and in setting check statistics since unplug.
Charge the phone full and see what battery stats and Wakelock Detector stats, for overnight standby.
Post screen capture for them both.

[Q] Galaxy S2 battery drops sharply ...

Hi ,
I'm on stock ROM KF3 (Rooted) . Since last week I'm facing wierd problems with battery .
Today morning My battery was on ~ 50 % , then after 15 minutes , to my surprise my phone was off . I turned it on & to my shock saw battery critically low notification ( with 1% battery remaining ) .
Also after 10 minutes of being turned on , the indicator increased to 7% automatically .
I then plugged it in and made a complete 100% charge .Within 20 minutes from being unplugged it was on 94% ,So i did a restart and to my shock again the indicator showed 64% . Then within nearly 15 minutes on being turned on the indicator is increasing automatically in steps of 1% & now indicator shows 72% .
Is this an issue with the phone , battery or what .??
FYI I'm using battery monitor widget & circular battery indicator .
I'm posting my battery usage , battery graph from battery monitor widget & battery history from battery monitor widget for diagnosis . Please help .

Did you try to calibrate your battery? There's an app available on the market called "Battery Calibration".
Charge your phone to 100%, start Battery Calibration and choose battery calibration. Plug your phone off and let it fully discharge. Then charge it to 100% without a break.

If battery calibration doesn't help:
Flash a newer ROM.
I recommend the latest, stable version for your region => XWKJ1.
There is a non-wipe Frankenstein version from Intratech (=> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1075278).
Please read the first post carefully. Official Firmwares can be found in second post and Frankenstein versions (with can easily combines with different Modem and/or CSC files for other regions and/or providers) are in the third post.
After flashing the new ROM you may root your phone like described in the first post, or just flash a working CF-Root kernel from Chainfire.
For XWKJ1 CF-Root kernel XXKI4 and XWKI8 will do - as long as there is no CF-Root kernel exactly for XWKJ1.
Good luck !

Normally you have to choose battery calibration, before you unplug. but yes, that's how it works.

i was also getting weak battery backup pf 10-15hr max.....then updated to custom rom.
1.senesation 1.8 with ninphetamine 2.1.3, now i am getting more than 22-26 battery backup with use of voice call, messaging, browsing, music play.
2. i also collaborate battery by charging battery to 100%(until unplug charger comes) then drain battery until it gets switched off. then again i charge to 100% then immediately went to CWM n cleared battery stats
3. Also i am using Juice Defender
I uploaded screenshots. You can see, Its already done 13.40hr still battery is 57% left.

I have a similar problem. My battery stays at 100% and prevents itself from charging. Last night I left my phone unplugged and when I woke up this morning it was still at 100% and when I plugged in the charging cable it said Phone is charged, remove charger.
This causes some real problems. Like yesterday I was using my phone then bam! The screen shut off. That was strange, I thought. It didn't look like the usual screen timeout and sleep because it didn't dim first. But then I tried pressing the power button and that didn't work either. So I took the battery out and put it back in. Still nothing. I started getting really bummed. What could be wrong? So I connected it to the charger and still nothing. Now I am getting really, REALLY bummed. Well after a minute or two on the charger I saw the big green battery come on with 0% charged level. Well, I am happy because the phone is working again, but confused because I just took the phone off the charger less than a half hour ago. Why 0% now?
I am still on totally stock, no root, no nothing. I have not tried battery calibration, but somehow I don't think it will help my problem.

Battery measurement issue between CM & stock ROM

I charged my phone while stock JB ROM was activated, it charged to 50%, then switched to CM10.1 and the battery it showed was 6%! Most likely battery status was at that level when I last booted in CM. Today I observed the opposite scenario, charged the to 30% in CM and booted into stock ROM which showed 10% battery - this was the last battery status while I was in stock ROM. Anyone observed this type of issue? If yes, any solution? I am planning to charge it full in both ROM s and then lets see what happens

Have you tried other roms & kernels..
Changing governers.. If yes it may be battery problem
I have the same problem with a non original battery,is that your case?
Inviato da me!
improper installations sometimes occur in android which leads to extra machine cycles...this leads to fast battery drain...before switching to another kernel first flash stock rom...leave it for two 3 days....check whether battery is working good...then move on to another one
Try clearing battery stats and Calibrating battery first.
Now charge your phone upto 100%. Then keep the battery out for atleast 15 mins then reinsert the battery. Turn on the phone charge the battery again to 100% and check if it fixes the prob. Also I won't recommend u using any kind of battery saving app, etc...
Cheers,
AJ

Use battery doctor or battery guru.. Both are good applications.. Better battery life always charge to 100%

s3 battery Discharges so fast,.. help

hello everyone!, i have a serious battery problems:
1. battery charging takes min 8 hrs!!
2. battery Discharges very very fast
i changed battery and charger and it still the same...
BUT notice that when the phone is off - charging takes 1-2 hrs
i dont know what its the problem, can someone help? thanks.
Have the same flash boeffla kernel and increase the charging of your charger and your battery will load very fast
Device: Samsung Galaxy S3
ROM: CyanogenMod 11 (Temasek Unofficial V36 )
Kernel: Boeffla-Kernel-CM11-2.1-Beta9-
1-2 hours is normal for a charge, actually its very decent. Run full charges only. Charge ONLY when battery is less than 20% and charge continuously till 100%. Check you battery usage. If you have bluetooth, wifi, 3g and whatnot on all the time your battery life will be bad and will take longer to charge.
Search the web there are many more specific solutions.
Specify if you are on stock rom and kernel.
Edit: I would NOT increase charging current. It will decrease your battery life in long run.

hi guys,

i saw in battery usage that the screen is 90% .....does it normally?!??!?
it seems like the screen is draining my battery, what can i do??
Lower screen brightness If you are gaming then there is hardly any solution for that. As the post before says, install better battery stats so we can help you further. Also sometimes other things draining battery may come under one name such as 'screen'. Its not new.

[Q] Battery Issue on Lollipop Roms

Hii everyone
I've got some really weird Battery Issues on different Lollipop Roms (CM12, ResurrectionRemix 5.3.5-5.3.7, Beanstalk and SlimLP).
The problem is, as soon as i restart the phone the battery percentage drops from 50% to 13% for no reason.
If i charge the phone later suddendly the loose percentage are back, but the phone consumption more "battery" so it's sooner at 0% as normal.
Does anybody else faceing this problem? Or whats the solution?
(Tried several times to calibrate the battery, and it's a new one ca. 6 months old)
Regards Kun1

I've had these problems when I first bought my phone used off eBay. Phone battery was very erratic. After a reboot battery would be less than half or nearly 0 even with 80%+ battery. Or would shut down with 5% left. Or drain battery a lot quicker than normal.
Soon as I bought a new battery my problems vanished. My battery would stay solid no matter how many times I flashed a new ROM or rebooted. BUT after 3 months these drops have started to happen again with reboots. Not always like before, but they're happening.
I think it's down to battery conditioning. The way you charge and discharge your battery. There are set ways to charge a phone to maintain battery health.
How does your battery react without rebooting from a full change to shut down? You shouldn't need to reboot a phone with a good stable ROM once you've set it up the way you like it. Also calibrating you battery or wiping your fuel gauge meter to often isn't good practice as android and your phone will do calibrating itself after some time and needs the information that these starts provide.
Battery jumps seem to happen with a lot of S2 users. Maybe a flaw in the design of phone. But good battery practices are important, things like not leaving your phone charging overnight. Batteries don't like being left on charge when they are full. There's more info out there on XDA that I can't remember myself as I am guilty of bad battery practices as I use my phone all the time and don't have time to full charge cycle.
Yes same problem
Battery drains really fast when restarting
Any fix for this?
I am hiving battery problems too. Battery is dropping % like it leaking or sth. Last time my phone rebooted due to full ram and it dropped from 50% to 12%. I left it like that. After some time battery re-charged itself from 12 to 23 % ! Phone was lying on the sofa without connected charger ! Should i clen fuel guage chip or my battery is EOL ?

Forgot to say, if you want to avoid battery drops when rebooting make sure you plug your phone into charge before rebooting. Thus should stop battery dropping afterwards.

The battery often drops when the phone hangs at work and reboot from itself so i have no chance to plug it in.
I have same problem, battery drain too fast & after reboot same time battery level is "falling" at one moment twice. At first, I think it's a battery problem, but battery work fine at CM12 mod, and have problem at SLIMLP 5.1.1 mod. When battery "falling" it's not heating, which means no real discharge.
