I am completely stumped here. Ive been on slimbean cm10.1 Rom for a while and recently flashed viper Rom 3.1.6 and since than, all the incoming calls are going straight to voicemail without a single ring. I've tried four different sense roms and can't figure out the issue.
Going back to cm10.1 Rom fixes the issue. Can someone please help me

Try updating your profile on a Sense ROM. Other than that you might have to go into diagnostic mode and play with the settings there.

Is there a particular setting I should be looking at in the diagnostics mode? Also, I can get into that mode by dialing ##3282# correct?

Diagnostic mode (##DIAG#) is for programs like qpst, DFS, and cdma workshop. There are a lot settings in there that unless you know what you are doing, and are familiar with the program, I wouldn't mess with.
You could try...
##data# (3282) select edit and enter msl
Menu>restore
After it reboots your phone may even try to re provision... Let go through the menus but you can cancel the firmware update.
Make sure to update your profile afterwards.
If this doesn't work you may have to do a hard reset (probably best anyways) but you want to make sure that you do a proper backup. Check the link in my sig, there is faq section at the bottom of post 1 that will assist you.:thumbup:

Thanks for that suggestion. I followed you guide and performed each step, even the last step of hard reset and I still can't take calls. I just don't understand why sense rom would prevent taking phone calls while CM10.1 works without any issues.

I would say the next step is to flash a sense rom and call Sprint from another #. Sometimes they give you a number to call to provision. If they can't help you, you will have to take it in.

Since your s off I would just run viperuu. Sprint isn't going to check your bootloader... Just if it's rooted.

I changed my CID according the directions in this thread in order to switch to S-OFF and update my firmware.
My phone now prompts me to activate it every time I turn it on, but when the call is made I get something along the lines of "The number or code you have dialed is incorrect..." and the process fails. I can't make or receive calls until I do this. I appreciate the help.
Let hands free activation finish or call sprint and have them provision it again this happens to a lot of folks after getting S-OFF

My problem is that hands-free activation isn't working or doesn't appear to be working at all.
I tried calling customer service and they gave me a 6-digit programming code (053448) and an MSID to manually program my phone, but when I dial ##053448# I get the usual message about my phone not being activated.
The ROM I'm using is CM10.1, is there some way do this from within the phone settings?

You need to be running a Sense ROM to activate your phone, update PRL or profile, or use dialer codes.

^ I'm running this one since I got S-OFF. I was one of the ones that had to reactivate my phone after I gained S-OFF so now I'm going to CM 10.1
Hello ladies and gentlemen. First and foremost I would like to say that XDA is a wonderful community of which I am very pleased to finally be taking a part of. Since my very first Samsung Transform that I had back in 2010, to my Current HTC Ego 4g LTE I have used XDA and the resources that are provided here for all of my Android related questions. For that I want to thank XDA for having such a wonderful community and hope that things continue to devolp fruitfully for everyone.
Now onto the subject of my first post, of which I hope is appropriate in every manner.
I am running Cyanogenmod v 10.0 on my HTC Evo 4g LTE, TWRP recovery, S-on, Hboot v unknown currently.
Upon installing Cyanogenmod v 10.0 after much struggle I noticed that the 4g does not work. I checked my PRL and noticed that I am running 25015. So I began trying to find a method to update my PRL in hopes that this would allow the 4g to begin working. I have tried many different ways that I have found throughout XDA and Cyanogenmod forums to no avail. No dial codes work. Period. Please do not suggest a dial code because I have already gone through and tried every prominent variation. The next thing I began trying was connectingy phone to the computer and using the CDMA editor program(I cannot remember the name currently). The problem I ran into with this was entering DIAG mode. Again the dial code does not work due to the non Sense ROM. I have tried many variations of the Echo > 1 command but I cannot locate a DIAG file that this command would apply to. I have found a qct_ file but it is corrupt.
If anyone has found a method to put the phone into DIAG mode, or update the PRL using a different method that I have not mentioned your assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
I will update this post with more specific information on what I have tried when I have access to a desktop terminal.
You could make a backup, revert back to a sense Rom, update the PRL, then restore the backup.

I would like to figure out how to do so without flashing a new sense ROM. Until I get S-off I have to flash the boot.IMG if I understand this correctly. I had to do that when I flashed Cyanogenmod the first time.

Is your firmware up to date? Only reason I ask is because your PRL is up to date and won't help you with your lack of 4G LTE.

My PRL is up to date? I thought sprints newest PRL was like 60xxx.
What do I look for in my phone info for my firmware version? If it is not up to date would that fix my 4g LTE issue on cyanogenmod?
You might need to call sprint and have them reprovision your phone, for that you probably need to be on a sense rom, flash meanbean which has a s-on installer then restore your cm nandroid... Good luck! I don't think there's other way to do what you need in aosp... :banghead:

I believe all that is on sprints end, and I know sometimes it could take an hour or two before your service is restored. How long ago did you change your #?
As far as updating your profile manually, I don't know, there may be a way. But I've never had to do that, as I've had the same number since 2004...search the forum to see if there's a thread about it anywhere.

You need to do a full/hard reset of your device.
*This will wipe all of your data/storage*
(doing this from memory, so the steps may not be in exact order)
1. Make a nandroid backup of your existing setup.
2. Backup all of your sdcard stuff to your computer.
3. Download msl reader and get your msl number.
4. Dial ##786# in your dialer, and enter your msl number when it asks for a password.
5. When the page loads, press menu and choose reset.
6. Once rebooted, do a profile and prl update and test your device.
7. Once verified as working, restore your nandroid and sdcard data.
8. Win.
This will wipe the provisions of your phone (as well as everything else) and reactivate your device on sprints network.
