I see a number of JB roms but it seems there are various issues.. like radios or camera not working. Also, as far as camera - it seems there are issues with the dinc's camera where only the HTC camera app focuses correctly, the stock aosp ones don't. with that in mind, what's the best jb rom to try? I prefer the non-skinned, aosp variety.
+fiddlerMD ASOP (RAW). Should probably move this to FAQ thread.

are you saying there's an AOSP jb version available for the dinc4?
Obviously since all the JB ROMs for out phone are based off of cm then cm would be the most stable

I am curious what everyone's favorite new jelly bean features are. I gotta say from using my Nexus I love the clock app. Its finally on par with HTC clock. Which is something I always go back to sense for.

The notification area. Way way way better. With MMS and music integration, it just looks so pretty

Second that. As an extension, I love the quick reply in stock messaging and how it's assessable from the notification area.

One of the rezound jellybean users here should post a video of jb running on their rezound. I'd love to see it in action...see if it's as great as it sounds.
Thanks
Rezound, s-off, loving it.
My favorite feature is both project butter and the notification area.

Would be more interested to know the UI smoothness.... hope this version will have performance gain on our Rezounds!
I'm assuming anyone on a jb rom with the rez is either building themselves or using an unreleased build

Correct there are no public releases yet, jellybean is as stable as ICS in my opinion for what I use, but the developers are doing very extensive testing to make sure that the average user doesn't have any more risk flashing jellybean than they do with ICS. When it is released, its because Chad and the other guys working at the source level feel it's relatively safe and secure.

That's good top hear I've been bummed buy the lack of updates and stuff for the REZ lately. But its good to know is just because they are all working hard on getting us jelly bean. I'm pretty stoked for it to be released. I'm really thankful for these guys working hard on a device that's been such a pain in that ass

I'm thinking that rezound development is better now than its ever been. We have aosp, senseless, sense 3.6, sense 4.0, sense 4.1 and a sense 4.5 test build. That's just OS versions. There's more roms actively being updated and developed now than I can ever remember. PM me if you have some questions on recommendations or where to find good roms.
I'm currently running Ecliptic Rez with a nice kernel snuzzo and hawknest built for that rom and there's an update getting ready to drop.

I was running the the ViperX kang from a while ago then i switched back to AOSP, now im on PAC-Man JB. And as charlie said it is very stable, i had more reboots on sense then i have had on AOSP.

I'd love to check out JB but I went back to a Sense 3.6 ROM (Rezone Redux) from Rage 1.9 because of issues with my phone not switching towers properly. I'd often lose data (especially when transitioning between 3G and 4G) and have to turn the radio off and on to get it back without having to wait forever. Airplane mode became my most used quick setting.

Okay I know this will sound crazy but could this run on a gingerbread base? I am on the og EVO and there is work being done to bring it to us og folks but they are using cm 10.1 as a base. The problem is Ics and jb are not fully functioning for us. No ffc no netflix no Wimax. So a cm 7 base is the only way to get complete functionality on our phones.

I haven't seen anyone working on Sense ROMs for a long time now. I doubt it.
Jelly bean 4.2.2 is better and is way more focused on being ported by almost all Devs if not all. I don't see it happening.

i think newt said he needs source kernel of phone with same processor as rezound to start working it
What ROM in your guys opinion is the best right now im curious about the JB rom where can i find that ?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=37061598
This is the main cm 10.1 unofficial port. There are other cm 10.1 ROMs for this phone but those have extra mods and customizations. So there's the complete clean cm 10.1 port, its still being worked on and there a new nightlie update built every 4th night I think. As for bugs you can find in the thread. But the only ones I am concerned about is video tearing and gaming isn't so great but battery life and smoothness is amazing.

Believe when I say I've searched and searched. I've only come across roms that are sense base with a launcher I want a pure aosp ics Rom for evo 3d I'm on evo v 4g but sprint roms run just fine for me cm9 or some sort solidrom I i had problems with the touch screen. Cam someone give me a link? Or explaination to why there's jb aosp but no ics

Please note this is for Sprint. I have NO idea whether it will work with your evo V. You won't find any ics aosp based rom that is still being developed as devs have moved on to JB. I'd suggest you do the same
I just figured an ics will be a lot more stable than the JB roms I just enjoy the aosp feel none of the JB seem to be stable enough for me they're too laggy or my 3g won't turn on or off when I toggle.

year after official release jelly bean has passed and I've accepted it the 3D functions for my evo 3D missed and it is not even required. It will be at least robust, stable version with no data drops and other issues if not require 3D capabilities? I'm not a developer so I do not know what the main problem with the EVO 3D from similar models that already have a stable JB, why not simply do a fork of cyanogen mod? I read that version of johnyslt, helicopter88 and agrabren are more for experimentation than for everyday serious use without serious problems,

I suggest you try the PAC-Man ROM. You will find it in the CDMA section, but it does have a GSM version, don't worry.
All works awesomely, it has all the features of aokp, cyanogenmod and paranoid android in one rom. I highly recommend it

He asked for a stable ROM. PAC isn't stable on GSM. It has a serious bug which Chris the developer knows about which causes the status bar to crash and is persistent across reboots.
I think the most stable one is the CM or Slimbean ports, I've used both extensively but my preference would be the slim rom.
Either can be used as a daily driver.

Dude, I've been using PAC on GSM for months now, my status bar never crashed. The latest version especially works like a charm, haven't had one bug yet
