Page loaded sound in browser - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Does anyone know how to turn off the annoying "page is loading" "page is loaded" sounds in the browser?

No one else has this problem? If your not hearing it. Turn your media volume up as you browse the web in "internet" (not chrome).

I'm guessing you have lightflow installed? It is a known issue. I just use chrome, no issues there. Other options include turning lightflow off.

I have the same issue. It does it in the corporate email app when you check/uncheck mail too. Very annoying. It has to do with lightflow's accessibility options AFAIK.

Or use light manager instead of lightflow

I was having this problem after installing a dash clock extension. i had to disable talkback. There seems to be a bug where if you attempt to enable the anydash extension, it also enables talkback.

Are you using the stock messaging app? What rom and phone are you using?

Yes, stock messaging app on SGS2 (as the forum states). I'm on stock KE2 and rooted via chainfire's rooting method then reflashed stock kernel.
Have you turned on always vibrate from within the messaging app? Go to all threads in the app, press menu, then settings, scroll down to notification settings, then press the option that says "Vibration" and make sure the option for always vibrate is selected.

I would but the setting isn't even there which is what surprised me most!
EDIT: I found an app to let me enable that vibration and it works now but it should be there as an option by default!!! WTF SAMSUNG!

Voice notification with text alert

Can anyone tell me how to cut off the voice notification that happens everytime I get a text? I've looked in settings but haven't seen anything that would change it.

Its part of the "voice talk" app. You must have it set to drive mode so it announces everything that happens on your phone. You can turn it off through the widget, or through the app itself.

Remove all accessibility services (e.g. Lightflow) from the Android settings. It's a known bug.

Ive heard using go launcher gets around this

it was light flow that did it, uninstalled it as i dont wanna use any other launchers, thanks for the help. I there any led notification app i can use that doesn't have this problem?
Not if you have to add them as an accessibility service. Again, this is not Lightflow's fault. Any app added as an accessibility service causes this behavior.

Turn off notifications and use an app like light flow.
Use a different MMS app.
Many ways to skin a cat here.

This.
I use Handcent and there is an option in settings to set the "Do Not Wake Screen" setting.
You need to go into your stock SMS app settings and uncheck notification options though.
As suggested by another user, turn off notifications in the sms app. Download an app called sms popup in the play store. Go into that app. Disable the popup notification. Set the rest of the settings such as the notification icon, notification sound, etc. With all that done, you essentially have the stock app behaving the way you want. I've been rocking this solution along with light manager for a few weeks and it's flawless.

App to turn on screen for notifications???

I have a samsung device which doesn't have an LED light. I've been using the app Glance, but it doesn't, no matter what, turn on the screen for email, google voice, facebook and sms.
It does work for whats app, which is great, but that's it.
Anyone can suggest an app that would work in all these cases... turning on the display when this occurs? I don't know if it's because I'm using screen lock that this is occurring?
