Mate the "secret codes" well most of them have been disabled because some one found a way to use them against you. making it possible to brick your phone just by text message. But thats a long story for you to google.
on a basic level I THINK you want settings/more settings/mobile networks/network mode there are other work arounds for other codes i would be surprised if there wasnt one for this to but you'll need to look for it. It may be an app or some adb code you can use. Post your question in the q&a thread in my sig. there are some top people who may know the answer. (maybe post a link to this ? save clogging everything up.) good luck
*#9900# is the only one I use to disable fast dormancy.

I'm looking for a working MOD that removes the icon from the vibration mode is set to silent. Now I have a CheckROM with JayDeluxe, but this app does'nt remove it.
I know that the forum is a version for KI3 but I checked and didn't work.
Could someone retrieve it?

You have enough posts now to either post in the jkay thread regarding this issue and the same goes for Checkrom thread. I personally do not care if the vibration icon is there. Yes its annoying but blame samsung for the update that brought this.
i did try the jkay settings and for me it did not work. but you are best to find your answer there.
(i know my post is not helpful but it a sensible one were giving you pointers in were to actual post your question than opening a thread)

Firstly my ROM: CheckROM V6 (Gingerbread based on XWLA4)
Can anyone link me to a fully working Phone.apk that has call recording enabled and support 160 DPI? I have checked on the kitchen app and I see a few there but the mixed reviews are making me uncomfortable in relying on those apks. Calling is crucial to me and I don't want any hassles.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Your problem is you're relying on people to do things for you. Try them out for yourself! If it doesn't work, try another :angel:
XDA is a site for community help and sharing of course, but it's not a site where everyone will walk you through everything step by step and do the work for you. Take the initiative. Also, perhaps consider shortening your signature a bit? It's generally considered bad manners to have a ridiculously large one for no other reason than to show off. Pride is great and all, but limits do exist.

Old post but hey, perhaps it will help someone. Ive just stumbled upon this (cant link cause aint got enough post yet but search villain rom's webpage for "exposed framework mod", and you will find a "enable-call-recording"
Just out of curiosity, are any XDA members still on GB?

Actually i am still in GB. Struggling to upgrade firmware via ODIN. Will move soon to JB with the help of XDA members.

Everytime you slide down the status bar the toggles move to the left side... really annoying.
is there a fix for this?

Unfortunately JKay has stopped development for S2 after ICS 4.0.3. So i wish i can just move on, if i atleast get this toggle from somewhere.

CM's roms have it for default.
Ofcourse.
But i am looking for a standalone addon/toggle, so that i can use it with any rom (addicted to flash different roms )
