The title says it all. I installed the home.apk from the latest system dump available and the launcher works nice apart from the widget function which says, in every single widget no matter how small or big, that there isn't space on the screen (even though it is empty). Anybody know why and how to bypass this? Thanks

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, it doesn't since the icons on the menu are very blurry and everything doesn't look as smooth and defined as on the XTZ launcher. If no one knows why the widgets don't work I'll have to wait for someone's port (maybe ra3al's?) of the xperia TABLET z launcher.

Head over to the Xperia Tablet Z forum and download the system dump. Look for Home.apk - works fine.

Already did that SWFlyerUK, as I told on the original post. The widgets don't work (installed the home.apk from the System Dump 10.1.C.0.344) as it says that there's no space on the screen even though it is empty. Do you have another suggestion?
copy the home.apk und paste with root und rw permission in the system/app folder ... this is no problem the orgina xts launcher under 4.4.1 iss launcher2.apk not a conflict

Mine was fine,and I can select any music as a melody for call from Setting-Sound menu.You have to delete the older one completely,I mean you should delete the older one with the ROOT EXPLORER or something like that.

I am using Xperia S ROM for arc but there is no calendar widget inside
so i made my own based on the one from stock rom
and here it is
this widget probably won't work on ICS (from my experience)
To install, either

yeah I know but the thread no longer exist. furthermore the GB ARC timescape widget doesn't show the sender name or number when ported to Xperia S but in this ICS ARC timescape widget it is shown, hurraaayyyy :laugh: ( just wanna share it )

Is it only the widget or the whole Timescape app. I love the Timescape app from the Arc S. I use an Xperia P and my version is useless

Cauz I think that is missing an apk there for messaging or stuff
Good stuff thanks I always liked the stuff that was on the arc 2.3.4 Rom it was the best the music widget with the glitter!, the transparent blue theme with silver type buttons!, the old photo widget! Simply amazing stuff. They just ****ed up on the 4.0 software ugly and laggy even the new photo widget takes time to load the pictures while scrolling!.... Well but thanks anyways for this please try to port more stuff like the old music ,photo widget and the classic theme and I will try my best to donate!!

Worked for me only when using event stream for telephony, messaging and call log, of course the arc widget, everything else from stock Xperia U ROM, cleared data for all, rebooted cleared cache and dalvik-cache, otherwise force close or event streams wouldn't load.
I still dont get names in the widget..

Dude. Look at the attached image. I downloaded urs home only.. Replaced it in system/app with right permission. After reboot i got 5*4 app drawer..
Pls note that i am not a noob bro.. I installed correctly.. And what will i get if i lie to u? Whats the use of that? What bro? U r made my day very worst because of that comment... So sad

Yes. U r correct. I am using Xperia S and its XHDPI. Not Hdpi or Mdpi.. Any way leave it.. Personally i dont like xperia z launcher.. Any way thanks for ur work. Keep it up bro...

Home.apk is based off Xperia Home 5.1.S.0.0. Themed to (somewhat) match the style of the Xperia i1's launcher.
ClockWidgets.apk is based off Clocks 1.0.A.0.26. Themed to match the Xperia i1's Clock Widgets.
Download the zip in the attachments below and flash in CWM.

I'm assuming you both haven't used the Xperia Z launcher before. You need to flash some files first. I'll provide them when I can.

The Folder background is different right?, I saw different home_folder_folder.png in xhdpi and hdpi, the one on hdpi seem to be the old one since Xperia T's launcher.
Anyway since this is just a themed launcher of an old home launcher ver which work for ICS (5.1.S.0.0), some bugs like theme option force close or some icon in appdrawer occasionally become unpressable and slow down transition speed still persist right?

Nice find, didn't see that the first time. I'll edit it for hdpi.
And yes, there are still the same bugs that persisted in the original version.
Updated with new folder design (thanks palkia 171993) and couple other tweaks. Download is now attached to OP. Includes files necessary to make the apk work if you haven't used the Xperia Z Home before.

New Clock Widgets!
Updated ClockWidgets.apk to match the Honami clocks:
The second hand on the analog clock, numbers on the digital clock and dots on the binary clock will all change depending on what accent (SemcGenericUxpRes.apk) you have installed. The fonts in the zip are required for the plain (white) digital clock. Only small bug is that the app icon for the widget is not the correct icon, but it shouldn't matter because you won't see it anyway.
Download the zip file attached in OP.

Clear data in Settings>Apps for Xperia Home to get the extra row of apps in your apptray. The Themes bug has not been solved since this Home was first leaked.
