Hello mates!
I have a I9300 SGS3 and I decided to change the ROM to a Akop, but I've had several drawbacks:
- The main problem is that sometimes the phone is locked. Light touch buttons respond, but the screen freezes and I have to pull the battery or hold down the power button for several seconds. This causes problems, because it seems that the data is corrupted, and when you start again, you delete the application settings, and sometimes the phone does not start, and should I reinstall the ROM.
- Eventually, when I open the panel automatically closes applications, and so if I try several times. This does not happen often, but a couple of times a day
The installation procedure I follow is as follows:
1. Enter to recovery mode from CMW touch 6.0.3.1
2. Wipe data / factory Reset
3. Wipe cache partition
4. Mounts and storage -> format /cache
5. Mounts and storage -> format /system
6. Mounts and storage -> format /data
7. Mounts and storage -> format /preload
8. Mounts and storage -> format /sdcard
9. Mounts and storage -> format /data and /data/media (/sdcard)
10. Advanced -> wipe dalvik cache
11. Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from external sdcard -> Install ROM package
12. Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from external sdcard -> Custom Kernel
13. Install zip from sdcard -> choose zip from external sdcard -> Install Gapps
14. fix permissions
15. Reboot system now
I hope you can help me with this problem because I can not find any solution.
My thanks in advance.
Greetings!

I had same problem, but what i did is that,
I used "MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition" it is free working on windows. I used it to
1- remove all the partition from my sdcard, then
2- do a partition using 4EXT as a (primary) with 1250MB. and move it the back of the sdcard. (you will know that when you use the MiniTool program).
3- do a partition using Fat32 as a (primary) with the rest of space, you may note extra blank area usually 8MB, that fine just forget about it .
4- upload all the roms you like to the Fat32 part of your sdcard.
5- Wipe:
1) wipe data/factory reset
2) wipe cache
3) wipe cache + dalvik
4) wipe dalvik cache
5) format all partitions (data, system ...etc) (except sdcard).
then install your ROM.
It works with me from the first time and I didn't get any error.
It you get any error after that. take the battery out for few minuses and repeat the wipe step, 2 times for every thing before you install the ROM.
Good Luck and Greeting from Saudi Arabia ..
can someone help me on installing the Carbon ROM Android 4.3. I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and i've downloaded the zip file needed from (AT&T) I've put it onto my sd card and i followed these steps
Step 1: Wipe Date/ Factory reset
Step 2: Wipe Cache partition
Step 3: Advanced > Wipe Dalvik cache
IMPORTANT ONE!!
Step 4: Mounts and Storage > Mount /system > Format /system
Step 5: Mounts and Storage > Mount /system (yes again to make sure its mounted, do NOT click UNMOUNT /system
Step 6: Install carbon rom, followed by the gapps, and all should be working swell. This is what I did to get a first time install working.
But i do have a problem with step(s) 4/5. when i do it, it the screen just does a quick flash, so i'm not 100% sure of it did it's job. so after that i continued on installing with the 6th step, and it does a 2sec start and tells me that it had failed. So I just restart my phone since i cant do anything else and I'm still stuck. BTW my phone is rooted. Does anyone have some advice on installing this?

when i started flashing rom i learned never reboot device after formatting partitions, because if you format a partition like system or data, cwm will remember where it is , so you can mount it. but when i format and restart my cellphone i cant mount anymore. i had this problem lots of tomes until i discover it
just try again..no rebooting!
Hi guys, I wonder can anyone help. I done a backup using Clorkwork Mod before I flashed a new ROM onto my phone. Now when i am trying to restore the backup onto the phone using CWM it completes the task but whenever I reboot the phone it gets passed the first samsung screen but hangs at the second SAMSUNG screen where the text is pulsing.
I have tried Wipe / Data factory reset, Wipe Cache, Wipe Dalvick and fix permissions. None of these seem to make any difference. The only thing that has worked in flashing a new ROM but I do not want to lose any of my apps /configs.
Any suggestions guys would be much appreciated.
try
first remove battery and wait 30 sec...
insert battery goro cwm wipe data cache
takeout battery .wait 30 sec and gito cwm and follow this step
Step 1: Go Advanced > Wipe > dalvik cache
before heading to Mounts & Storage > Wipe /
cache
Step 2: Reboot your device, and the boot loop
should be gone. If not, repeat the steps up until
Step 1, where you’ll want to go to Mounts &
Storage > Wipe /data > Wipe /cache before
rebooting.

Hello friends
My Nubia Z7 runs on KitKat 4.4.2 ver V1.26 (stock rom) and it has the stock recovery, which is a limited one, it is able only to update the stock rom, but it cannot flash gapps, or other zip packages
I dag the net but it doesn't exist any custom recovery such as TWRP or CWM for this model, working with kitkat 4.4.2, only a Chinese TWRP version for Lollipop.
So after many days I found on Baidu a Chinese version of CWM which I wish to share.
You can download it from here:

If anyone could take the file and upload it on cloud for download, because the link will soon expire, please do it.
