So I've been searching around for some sort of solution, or even someone having the same thing happen to them as me, but I haven't found anything.
Whenever the phone is either plugged in, unplugged, or a phone call is answered, my phone disables automatic brightness. I wanna know if this happens to anyone else and if there is a way to get it to not disable, thanks.
Bump
I haven't had that issue myself. Kinda weird.

Not rooted.

No I played an MP4 video off tumbler
When it started I got the error message.
I went to download a zip file from a different site and it did it again.
Any ideas
I am trying to catch a picture of the error but it just flashes quickly.

Never seen it, but start with restarting the phone, and try to reproduce the issue after the fresh boot.
I had it a few days ago. Thought I had a defective device until I reproduced it on a new one and my store demos. It was caused by power save mode on mine. Try turning off power save mode if it's on.

Thank you so much that fixed it!
Wish the message was labeled as such and not an overheating message lol.
Wait, so you guys can actually turn DB on? I can't seem to and I assumed TM disabled it.

Yea, definitely. I was super annoyed and about to call my Samsung rep if that hadn't of fixed it lol. Blew me away that there is no indication whatsoever that power save will disable that feature. I'm sure Samsung is going to get quite a few false warranty claims from the lack of notification on the phone.

It does get warm as like any other computing device, not abnormal to hit 105-110 degrees if you have a temperature widget/app to check..

Its a feature you enable through the notification bar or menu settings that allows you to download something through both the network AND wifi at the same time. It's meant to boost download speeds, great idea in my opinion. I leave mine on at all times and when its being used theres a little icon next to the normal 4g/lte icon at the top of the screen.

We are all in different conditions, state, room temperature hard to know why yours is getting hot. For the most part it's normal.

Thanks for the info this fixed mine, I as well thought it my be defective
I've noticed that if your device has overheated once, you will continually get this message until you reboot. This happens even If the phone is not currently hot.

You may want to consider elaborating. "GPS problem" is not very specific. What issue are you experiencing with the GPS?

While navigating it get lost and show i am in some other road nearby and reroute through it !!
On Maps also it shows 1-2 block far !!
Had the same issue when phone was in a bad mount. So the phone bounced around even just a little and it really screwed up the navigation. Reverse direction, different road... Took it off mount and it was immediately fine. It was not a magnetic mount either

I can confirm that I also have that issue. I use the GPS daily and see it regularly "stick" my location arrow to a road I'm not on that's close by and assume I've gone off course, only to snap back to where I am a few moments later. I've also missed a fair few exits when the location stops updating and all of a sudden I teleport forward a mile or more which is just past where I was supposed to get off. I'm on stock deodex and unlocked/rooted but have no other mods and no Xposed. I do have GPS Status installed and set to run whenever the GPS is active. Haven't found anything that helps so far.
I'm not sure if my issue is specific to Lineage, or general for the OnePlus 7T Pro.
Anyway, My phone is waking up every minute. I hear a click and the screen lights up.
Anyone else encountering the same issue?
Or, do you possibly know what wake-lock to turn off?
Thanks in advance./arc

If you're in custom rom try to find similar issues in that rom thread or ask some help there.
Using Trusted Places has been a thorn in my side. It worked about 4 phones ago, but never since. I've tried several work arounds, but still the dang phone requires me to put my stupid finger on the display so often. It's frustrating.
Does this work for anyone else?

Hey! It's working. I noticed the phone was stating, 'Manually locked'. I must have been forcing a lock. Now I double tap to wake the phone an it's open!
As with all my previous devices, it worked for a solid 1.5 days and now it stopped working again. Guess they will never fix it. Whenever I set it up from scratch, it will work for 1-2 days and then stop working for no reason. It's so unreliable. Wish there was an option to tie smart lock to a Wi-Fi network. Guess without root, I'm out of luck...

You're able to get Smart Lock (with trusted places) working for 1-2 days? That's amazing.. I though it's only for "4 hours"?
Here's what I don't get..
So in the Trusted Places screen, it has a note at the bottom saying:
"Your device will stay unlocked for up to four hours..."

Click to collapse
However, when I click on the "Learn More" link at the bottom to get clarification, it says this:
When you don't use your phone for 4 hours, and after it restarts, you'll need to unlock it

So which is it? Seems like both of those statements are different.
Either way, I tested this by enabling Smart Lock and setting a timer for 3hr59m. When the timer alerted, I confirmed that Smart Lock was still working. After 1 minute, Smart Lock stopped working.
Is this the expected behaviour that after 4 hours, Smart Lock expires?
.

It should probably say, "When you don't use your phone for 4 hours, or after it restarts, you'll need to unlock it."
Your phone will lock itself after 4 hours of non-use as well as anytime it is restarted. Both of these are true.

Yeah that makes sense. However I noticed that after waking up this morning, my Smart lock was still functional! It seems very buggy.
I'm also having issues re-instating the Smart Lock (using Trusted Places) once it "expires".. I keep trying to toggle it on, and then off again, but with many failed attempts.. I then just remove all my "places", started fresh, and it worked.. no idea and not intuitive.
