Is it just me or am I Imaging things ..
Ive been on XDA for years in many forums.
Lately every topic of mine I've made I've noticed 10 views 25views 96 views ,doesnt matter how many.. I always have a response, wether good or bad every topic this week I see 100 views no responses not even a smart ass one ...?
I've contributed a lot to HTC one topic wise even before release
I could almost swear that my topics are being blocked from "member " responses, even though they all have views. Wtf is going on here ,every worthless topic under mine least they have responses.

Well, I was skeptical after reading the first 15 threads identical to this one today...
But now I believe!
I'm looking forward to the next few thousand announcements of "wow I'm running ICS!"
To many of the same threads . Will lock.
Cheers

Honestly this article doesn't reveal anything. Its common sense. Its only the manufacturers fault that they have so many devices, and some with different processors, to take into account.

Common sense is not very common.
I'm guessing it had to do with the agreement between HTC and XDA about early releases, infringement, etc.
Boo...!! (Although I understand.. Just a little disappointed because Newt was doing such a great job.)
What now?

That or source.. He'll straiten it out... No worries..
It's always source.

Its a fine line we walk on here. In one hand HTC says we are going to make a developer phone. In the other hand they say Sense is closed source. Then with one of their feet they open HTCDEV.com .. its very confusing. HTC wants to be open but they want to protect there stuff too. Personally I don't blame them, I just want it to be fare.
It's not about HTC don't worry the thread will be open soon

When HTC is after you for copyright infringement, you would know.
They probably would notify him directly instead of through a moderator of an online forum.
On a different subject thanks to newt and zone.

only if the xda rule broken was mentioned would have been good.
Kernel source? Just guessing and I know xda has locked lots of threads due to it.

I'm so over this crap. This phone doesn't have much dev super as it is and we continue to have rule breakers, snitches, etc etc.. I'm getting an s4 and will watch HTC sink from afar.... Maybe I'm overreacting but that how I feel after reading about all this today.

Are u making improvments like mms for vzw people or any other?
Sent from my HTC6435LVW using xda app-developers app
The Rom that was created by this team of people is awesome. It improves this device by leaps. I loved the stock version, viper version and now this "RealDNA" VERSION rocks. Super smooth and great new features. Thanks for making my phone a toy and not just a tool. I hope this problem was just a naming issue. I can't wait till newt names his baby.

I am now officially laughing at this circus act. Funny how one person can go all over the place and create such havoc. Thanks for the entertainment.
But seriously, please stop Cell Master. It just seems like you're doing this out of spite to antagonize others now, and frankly, it's getting annoying.

I just want to say that this thread is closed.
Hi,
I need 10 posts to report a bug in dev section, this seems for me pretty sensless >_>?
Instead of complaining about the initial posts you need to post outside of general, you could always create a thread in general explaining the bug and somebody else could report it for you. Alternatively, you can also pm the dev of the software you have a bug on.

How exactly is it unfair? It helps to prevent trolling. Sorry if you don't like it. Nobody is forcing you to be an xda member.

I'm not angry, I just think it's a stupid thing to complain about. I don't think the requirement is over the top.
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Could be over the top for you but think if someone is stuck badly and needs to ask for help from a particular ROM's users then he will have to make 10 posts and that too after time intervals. In most cases his first ten posts would be useless just to bypass that restriction.

Why could this person not pm the dev directly?
Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk
Because developer alone cannot solve everyone's problems and pm are not liked by all the developers. A problem can be better solved by community together rather than a single developer who may or may not read the pm for days whereas atleast few members on thread will in some hours.
Sent from my LT26ii using xda app-developers app
I find most devs to be pretty responsive, and I doubt the rule will ever change because it does more good than bad. At least you must be quite a bit closer to your 10 posts thanks to this thread.
