No! But some apps especially games automatically installed in sd card.
If you really want to install all apps on sd you should have ext partition and unfortunately stock rom doesnt have it.

If your device is rooted, you can use titanium backup to move all your apps to sd card. No need to partition sd card for that

Any one getting a damaged SD card every time they flash a new ROM. Could it be my 64 GB card is ex fat and not fat 32?

Did you flash cm10 or aokp if so that's the problem. Just transfer the files to PC then
Format to fat32 if u plan on using cm10.x again

Thanks bro, I followed the steps to restore card and it worked fine. You have any secrets on how to format a 64gb into fat 32. Yeah the stock TW rom has no issues with the card but once you flash cm10 or AOKP. IT SUCKS.

Yes if you have an external than put a nandroid on that and format the data on your internal in twrp.

I noticed on the latest version of twrp there's no option to format internal storage. Should I flash and olver version of twrp?

I'm on 2.5.0.1 I installed it through rom toolbox. I installed the 2.4.x.x version that one has the option to format the internal sd. If I want to install a new rom can I format the internal sd then flash the new rom?

Yup just make sure you make a backup in twrp of what you're on now (called a nandroid) just in case the flash messes up somehow. And of course, before you format the internal sd, make sure your nandroid and the rom you want to flash are on your external sd.
