Last night i put my phone on charging and suddenly the " HTC quietly brilliant " screen appeared. I took out the battery because the screen was jammed. Now when i start my phone it just shows the start up screen and then hangs. I tried put it into fast boot > recovery but nothing happens the same screen appears every time for several minutes until I pull out the battery. I don't know what is the reason behind this error.
Don't know what to do ... Please help guys.

you'll need to give everyone more information to solve your problem
1. What hboot version are you on? (can be found by starting phone up while holding the volume button down)
2. Have you flashed any custom ROMs/Kernels/Recoveries?
It's almost impossible to solve your situation without knowing these things
maybe the battery is dead; use other charger

I tried it. Charged it for 1h and then turned it on and stared at it for 25 minutes but the phone just showed the start screen and then restarted 4 times the whole time.
Any Thoughts..?? i have no clue whether it is a hardware malfunction or a software problem.
Regards.

I went to the HTC service center, they called me today and they are saying that they cant fix it . Well technically its not the official HTC service center because HTC does not officially supply its products in my country. Its an HTC franchise. They also said that i should re-install its ROM.

Then you have one option. Unlock your boot loader, flash custom recovery, flash a custom Rom. After that, you can go back to stock using nandroid backup from someone.

Install newest htc sync to get the drivers. Then you may or may not uninstall htc sync, but keep the drivers. Then try again.

Lol....you can recover easily... Just buy a memory card reader and put the rom on SD card that way.... Will cost you 100 rupees max.
Otherwise use any friends mobile to transfer rom on sdcard
In fast boot mode, flash my kernel v3.
And then flash rom from SD card in recovery... That's it

thatys actually a good thing it means hes spent that year reading. i would feel good about this but he still managed to get the post in the dev section
i was join here and every thing i want i was found it that's the things
i put it in charge and waiting for it for a 30 minute
it appear in the first then the SE logo appear and the device is hanging and stop working i tried every software i had but it seems like it doesn't install in the mobile although that the SEUS told me that it install and the flash tool
Ok pull the battery out and wait a minute. Connect the cable to the computer & load SEUS, select your phone.. without the battery inserted.. then holding the back button.. put the battery in.

im doing it right now but i want to know if any body know about the picture that appear to me the camera one above the device and between it a blue arrow ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That is the animation for flashing the phone from flashtool. It happens after the first time you reboot after upgrade and should usually stop after about 2-3 minutes unless you messed up the flash.
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App
Once you redo the flash make sure everything is done before unplugging and then be patient as it takes a few minutes to calibrate everything after the flash.
That animation is normal and nothing to worry about. It can take up to 5 minutes to finish and reboot but if the flash is incomplete it could hang there. Wait for flashtool to say for you to unplug and reboot. You probably just got ahead of yourself and something didn't finish right. Reflashing everything should fix it for you.

Again you need to be patient. That animation is supposed to happen. Its the animation for "flashing" the phone, hence the camera!
Leave the phone alone after you finish flashing. The whole process of the first boot can take more than 5 minutes or so.

i make sure about it and i use flash tool and original ROM and wait for it more that 30 minute but the same picture is appear to me for a 10 second and then back to SE logo and hanging and when i use SEUS it told me that there is an update and i thought that mean the software doesn't install on it although that it told me it install
First flash whatever FW SEUS is trying to give you as an "upgrade" then wait until its done and leave the phone to boot and calibrate. It may take a while but if the flash is complete it will start. Then use flashtool to flash whatever FW you want and again you will need to wait.
Your problem if its hanging itself up is that the flashing was incomplete. If your USB cable is plugged into a hub then disconnect it and hook up to direct USB port on your PC. Hubs can sometimes transfer to slow and mess up the flash.

i connect it to the portal USB and waiting for along of time does it take more than 30 minute and i know what flash tool and SEUS do but the device is till of sorry but this is my first flash for x10 i was used x10 mini pro and it was more faster in flashing than x10
The flash is incomplete. You need to redo the flash following my instruction in the last post. It sticks on that animation for a long time normally but not that long.
The flash replaces every system file so each flash wipes the phone. Make sure in flash tool you also select 'wipe user data' or it will get stuck on SE logo if you are changing from 1.6 - 2.1 I bet that is your problem if the flash really was complete.

i check the 'wipe user data' on the flash tool and it didn't work i tried every thing
What FW are you flashing from? What FW are you flashing too? What version of flashtool are you using?
You should be flashing the same stuff everyone else has and nobody else who's followed the correct procedure has had this issue. Since the flash should wipe everything, nothing on your phone should affect it either. I'm out of ideas, maybe try a different version of flashtool and try reading through the flashtool threads.
I had mine get hung up on SE logo and an '!' after my first attempt at flashing because the files were incomplete due to my slow hub. If you get to the flash animation it would seem everything worked though...dunno what to tell you.
Maybe try PM'ing Bin4ry or Androxyde and see what they tell you about it.

One second my Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 was working perfectly fine, and about two minutes later I got it out of my pocket to check something and it was off. I thought it was the sleep of death issue so as usual I held the Power button expecting my phone to restart from the black "GT-I9300" screen. It didn't. I took out the battery and inserted it back in and tried again. Still it wouldn't turn on.
Starting to get worried I tried to boot up download mode and reboot mode. That didn't work either. Thinking the battery might have randomly become flat (even though I remember seeing 45% a few minutes ago) I put it on charge. The screen didn't turn on like it usually does when the S3 is put on charge :/
This sort of thing has never occurred to me before, either on the GT-I9000 or the GT-I9300.
After some research looks like my S3 is bricked for good except for maybe some hope (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1731255)? Is there anything else I can do? Sounds like this is the "Sudden Death" problem that was fixed recently, is there anyway at all I can take advantage of this fix?
Also, is there anyway at all I can backup my internal storage?! The last backup I took was about 2-3 months ago (yes..you can call me a fool, I know -_-) and there are lots of important texts, app data, backups and photos that I foolishly didn't backup or sync to the cloud :/
If any extra information is needed to "solve the case" please ask.
Thank you in advance.

Tried that too, didn't work, looks like I'll need to try some jtag process :/ im just hoping I can get my internal sd contents somehow. My friend told me its just an overclocked sd card..is this true?
Soooo ... Hello.
I've recently registered to XDA so i'm sorry if i put this post in the wrong section.
Ok so yesterday i did a totaly bold headed move. So i was getting ready to get Mac-Droid on my S5300 and went for the pre-romming procedure ( just data wipe and other stuff) and after that i tried to install the rom itself using the restore feature on androids. For somewhat reason it didn't want to "do the deed" ( something about not being able to do something (Status 2)). The phone still worked by that moment. As the sneaky fast kid i am i tried to do tons of stuff to make the rom work on the Droid(Tried to use galaxy mini's clockworkmod recovery and it showed me that my sd card was unreadable(the sd card was taken out , so i consider it meant my internal memory as it was the place where the rom file was)). None of it helped , same problem (let me note that all the stuff i did , couldn't have damaged the boot sector of the phone). Well after that i decided to do stuff on my own (Again just to note , i'm not a newbie to electronics , i've hacked a ton of other devices such as Apple products , Nintendo products and SONY products). So i decided that i'd try to make my internal memory responsive with clockworkmod recovery and tried to partition my SD Card(as in internal memory?). I choose the partition size and some other thing that i dont quite remmember(i was unsure as to what it was so i just randomly picked one of the options(the options were 16mb , 32mb , 64mb , 128 mb , 256 mb and 512mb). So it did the partitioning and i selected the reboot option in CWM. It showed that its rebooting. I went to grab a snack at the kitchen and when i came back to my room(rougly 10 minutes later) the "Rebooting.." text was still on the recovery screen. So i thought "big deal , i'll just restart my Droid - it's the same as the rebooting , only quicker , no ?". So i used the combination of Volume Up + Power button + Home button (I thought that was the combination to restart the phone , just like to enter recovery). The phone turned off , and never turned on. I'm STATING the fact now , i spent more or less 6 hours on browsing variuos forums in search of ways to bring the phone to life. Tried A LOT of methods to getting it back to life and none worked.
So , finally , i've turned to XDA seeking for help..
I'll list the stuff i've tried and the facts that give me hope that it's possible to revive it without Riff box.
Things i've tried:
Entering Download mode with variuos methods such as :
The button combination
Taking out the battery , pressing the button combination and replace the battery back into the phone while still holding the combination
Taking out the battery , pressing both volume up and down and replace the battery back while still holding the buttons.
Charging battery
Taking out sd and SIM cards and doing the same procedures
Tried variuos other combinations
Using all of these methods while being connected to a pc
Kies
And lastly , Odin (gave me a glimpse of hope)
Notes and stuff that gives me hope:
Soooo , i was pretty sure i failed after trying everything except the stuff with my pc. But as i connected my phone to the PC i heard something.Something that forced me to smile temporarily. I heard the sound of an external device being connected.
But there are a few catches. First of all if i hold the recovery combination on my phone it disables as a device on my pc and in seconds comes back.Next , my phone is filed not as a phone or sth else but as a Broadcom USB wireless modem (wut ?).Another catch is that Odin !.85 and 1.87 DETECTS MY PHONE (Yet Odin 3.xx doesn't). I've tried romming my bricked S5300 with both working Odins , but it always stops in connectionsetup(The phone appears as a yellow rectangle on odin).
Now for the last part , i'm not 100% sure , but i think i heard it evict sound today , again i'm not sure if it happened but i think i heard the sound of it getting less than 15% battery , yet the screen still was blank and i didn't hear anything else for the whole day.
I'm practically sure that the only things i haven't tried are USB Jig (making my own one , will take a few days(lack of time to make it)) and Riff box , but mabie , just mabie i missed something.Open to suggestions.
Waiting for reply in high spirit , PLEASE HELP ME ! :crying:

no it does not. i went to service center and said i tried to update other kies using data cable and after doing it my phone went dead and never turn on even i plug in it charger. so they take it. just say like this.cos they will fix your phone with box like riff box.and when they will flash it. it will have original os.they will not know that you tried custom Rom.i made it dead with last custom Rom.just say you got problem updating with Samsung kies firmware updater
send from Di1black OS
There's no center near my place , does the same apply if i take it back to the place that provided me with the phone (Just like orange theres one called Tele2 in my place)
hm same as me . my service center is also too far. but its better for you. first you need to send it to there.Samsung care.its only available option for you now. cos i also tried all but my phone did not purpose at all. if you have that fixing device then you may fix.other wish its better to send your phone to Samsung care. best of luck

And who knows , maybe i'll use your suggestion because sending it to Samsung is a pain..
Dude maybe i can help you same thing happened with my other phone i.e galaxy ace i ..

And first use odin then connect your phone..phone will automatically install drivers(it happens when i tried maybe it will happen will happen with you too)

I'm confused on 1 thing . It says that Odin detects phones only in download mode , the newest version of odin doesnt detect my phone , Odin 1.85 detects it but stops at setting up connection , i've tried installing its normal firmware a few times but it never gets past the "setting up connection" thingy. What do you mean by not using the Pit file ? I have a stock firmware file which you only need to add to PDA and it tries to install the firmware , but as i said before , gets stuck on setting up connection ..
BTW , how do you use Odin 1.8.4 , it seems entirely different than 1.8.5 and above
EDIT:
Nevermind , it was a wrong version
You're suggestion didn't work. Still stuck at setting up connection (i bet this is because i can't reach download mode). I even tried to do it with other firware (By other i mean a divided version with which you have divided modules (Boot , csc etc.). Didn't help..
Ooh only pda .......have you tried waiting because in some cases (my friend told me that setting up connection takes time) waiting has helped.

Here's an advice , Charge the battery for 5-10mins with universal charger, get that CWM thing out of your device ASAP, flash 4ext , live and let your EVO 3D live.
I have no idea if phone charges while being switched off or in recovery when using CWM but you should not have issues with charging or anything strange with 4EXT.
Please help im begging !

Hello guys,
Yesterday i received an OTA Update to 7.1.1 and downloaded it and beggining the installation.
After that my phone doesnt boot anymore and keep appearing the message:
AP Fastboot Flash Mode (Secure)
failed to validate recovery image
ERROR: Failed to pass validation, backup to fastboot
I tried to install RSD Lite but my pc doesnt recognize my phone as "connected".
Please give me some help.
Reflashing a factoty image via fastboot could help. There are already some threads here, which will help you.
I followed this and got 7.1.1 by OTA right after installing. Using minimal ADB and fastboot to flash it worked fine.https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-z/how-to/how-to-update-to-official-7-1-1-moto-z-t3640298

Thanks my friend, I'll try this.
Is there a way to unlock my bootloader without enable the oem unlock on the phone?
My phone is stucked on 'AP Fastboot Flash Mode (secure)'.

Maybe there's an issue with the ota for 7.1.1. I got it here in the UK last night. It was working fine on 7.1.1 from what I could tell until the phone died later on the phone now will only boot to the no command screen. Tried hard reset but it doesn't help. Motorola have requested it sent for repair. Is this the same issue?
I have exactly the same darned problem!!! Motorola chat are worse than useless, simply following a flow chart with no knowledge.

Yes the chat is like any other companies non tech savvy person following a script in fact it could quite easily be a bot haha. Anyway I got through the process and received a prepaid DHL label and have sent the phone for repair. Luckily my phone is under warranty I feel sorry for anyone with this problem and out of warranty I'm not sure how that would work even though the problem has arisen through Motorola's update.
Anyway I'll keep you updated on the outcome.

This working for me, enter into recovery Mode: press power and volume down at the same time then select recovey and you will see the same no command screen, then press power and volume up Keys at the same time, you will be enter in recovery mode, select mount system wait until complete, then select clean cache and wait until complete, now select power off, then try to power up your phone. If it does not result at the first time, try again. With this steps my phone turn on again.

Try this at the screen shown in your post :
1 press AND HOLD the power button
2 press the volume up button
You should see the recovery menu below
The volume buttons navigate the menu
3 First try Mount /system
4 Then try Wipe cache partition
5 Then Reboot
It worked for me once

I think that the problem is related to the micro sd card, just a few minutes ago I can reboot my phone but without the card. This problem begin after the ota update. I made a backup of the card and format it but the problem persist, trying to reboot with the card inserted im the phone but it enter into bootloop, I make some test to the card with my pc and other phone and the card is ok.

That's good to know. What is the exact information on the SD card? Maybe we should not use it.
I am aware of some 128GB cards causing problems with booting

Hi, only an update, after a little investigation a lot of Moto G4 plus had the same problem just after nougat update, all of them use Samsung evo 128gb cards and format the card using the phone does not make the things better. The last night I perform a format process to my sd card using my Windows 10 lap top , but I select long format (well uncheck the quick format box). I insert the card to the phone and the phone ask to format the card, I select as external storage after complete I turn off the phone and it boot without problems, I power off the phone a cuple of times and Works good.
Maybe this is the solution.

Hi all..
Same issue here.. Moto Z Droid.. updated to 7.1.1 via OTA yesterday... things were OK... saw some weird issues (not sure if they were related or just issues in general).... I decided to reboot my phone... and I can no longer boot.
Every boot results in the "No command" screen. Clicking "Volume Up + Power" for a few seconds (then releasing volume, then power) drops me into Android Recovery....
I've tried clearing cache .. "Mount /system" .. everything short of factory reset.
I don't currently have access to a SIM-eject tool to try booting up the phone without SD card. Will do this once I get home. Looking back into my order history, my SD card is: Samsung Evo Plus mc128d 128gb Uhs-i Class 10 Micro SD Card
I've tried scanning the logs from "View recovery logs", but didn't see anything that stood out.

Your SD card is almost certainly the problem. I think that after you remove the SD card you will be able to boot.

I'll attempt to read through this thread again.. but, after removing SD and booting successfully (in the process now)... can I expect to be able to put it back in and be ok? Or, does it seem that this specific type of card will "never" work with 7.1.1?
I really wish I could boot it up far enough to be able to decrypt that SD to see exactly what is on it.
And lastly, is there any evidence as to which 128GB cards work on 7.1.1 with the Moto Z's?
lollyjay.. thanks for your quick reply.
