Recomended JB rom for gaming? - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

As the title, iam looking for a JB rom for my Xperia mini pro,
Current Specs are:
JB 4.1.2
Kernel: FXP
CM10 FXP unofficial
CPU governer: Lagfree
Min Freq: 249MHz
Max Freq: 1516MHz
I/O Scheduler: sio
AnTuTu Scores:
Total Score: 6751
CPU: 1688
GPU: 3543
Ram: 876
I/O: 644
1516MHz [320x480]
I have problems playing high-res games like asphalt7, RR2/3. They work, but lag a lot (RR2 is just too laggy to play, while RR3 is playable)
is there a way to solve this on JB? i don't want to switch to GB. The only problem is gaming, everything else is amazing. :victory:

Sorry but we're not allowed to ask for the best rom. Just try some roms and find your personal best
Sent from my SK17i running stock ics (.587)

This ^^
Also, try to get some feedback on the thread of the ROM that you are using.

Synthetic benchmarks don't say much. I've done this with 3 different apps and 5 different kernels, all results were similar under the same conditions, clean install of stock ICS 4.0.4, CPU @1GHz and Ondemand governor.
use chainfire to boost the score to 5000
Here is mine. Non overclocked. Non supercharged. with 150apps. About 10 cached background processes on AOKP b39
ROM: KA18.2
Kernel: XRay 6.2....
OC: 1.6Ghz
And there is MIxUI 23 score with their own kernel included in that package with kernel stock settings.
I wonder how is it possible for ICS to get better benchmark scores than GB when in games and general UI usage it's way slower (ESPECIALLY in games).
ICS general thing is to optimeze teh device
My quadrant benchmark
Kernel: XRay 7.3.431;
ROM: KA 20.2 IceCream Sony;
OC:245-1401 Mhz;
Governor: SmartAss V2;

F.A.Q's :-
1. Is this working on blah blah?
> I don't know. Do some research. Keep the disclaimer in mind.
2. OMG! My device rebooted/crashed/exploded?
> Get me the logcat. Check for any conflicting init.d scripts.
3. Battery drains like hell. WTF?
> Not kernel problem. It's your apps that are waking up device from deep sleep. Check the wakelocks. I don't build kernels to worsen battery life. See here for more info.
4. Signal is dropping since I flashed the kernel?
> Again. Not the kernel problem. Check if you have latest ( and proper ) baseband for your device.
5. Is it pre-rooted ?
> Autoroot isn't included. Just download flash-able zip from site. Users may prefer supersu/superuser.
6. App FC's or something crashes?
> Try reinstalling app again. Give me logcat if problem persists.
7. Does this kernel has X or Y mod?
> Do some research. Check thread, repo, commits etc.
8. Which governors/IO-schedulers to use?
> Depends on your usage. See here for more info.
9. I need more info on something?

1,3GHZ overclocking? It's real or it's only a number?

He he. Don't use 1.3 GHz. It's untested.
BTW Qualcomm said MSM8255 can be max set to 1.4 GHz ( Arc S ). We all overclocked it to 1.8-1.9 GHz. Don't know about nova Thor though.

Anyways you got kernel booted?
For now, I've a GB based rom, so I can't try it..
The thing that attracts me most is the clock to 1.3 ghz...
Maybe I can try now making a backup, but GB CWM is really slow..
hi ! Give me 15 minutes and I'll try this kernel...stay tuned
UPDATE: bootloop. Installed on ICS stock rom based
Good Job
Hello Friend,
I have a 6.1.1.C.1.0 Based ROM. I installed the Kernel and here are my reports-
1. CWM Menu is a bit laggy
2. The phone vibrates like 2 sec after boot and again the LED Lights up and it vibrates again.
Please make it 1 vibration only
3. The phone boots succesfully :highfive:
4. Lagless
5. WiFi, Bluetooth, WiFi tethering and other functions work perfectly
6. Extra CPU Steppings present- 100 MHz, 1.1 GHz, 1.2 GHz, 1.3GHz
7. Phone manages to recognize new CPU Steppings and runs at them and phone likes jumping to 1.3 GHz
8. Current Config- OndemandX, CFQ, 100/800
GOOD Job! Thanks
PS- Does running at 100 MHz consume more battery than at 200 MHz? (Noob)

Good!
Can you, please, make some benchmark test (quadrant or antutu) just tu see if the new freq are working property?
Don't believe in Benchmarks
I got a Quadrant Score of 2779 at 1.3GHz OndemandX CFQ.
But hey, the phone is faster in terms of UI etc. when compared to Munjeni's Kernel at same speed of 800/200 OndemandX/OndemandAX CFQ.
This kernel's CWM is lacking though. Its fully functional but a bit laggy.
My recommendation is that do give a shot. It is absolutely stable, battery friendly and great. Just fix the CWM Lag.
GOOD Job Dev

You trust benchmarks , eh?
Anyways , thank you for reporting.
I misplaced code. Short vibration should be after entering recovery. Regarding, CWM, it's not an issue. I'll see it in next version.
Edit: For benchmarks, performance governor should be used. It'll give high numbers because CPU is always capped to its max frequency.
Of course, ondemandx is best for daily use.
Also I recommend using SIO.

Overclock is useless IMHO
Strange...I've Terra Rom based on stock c.1.10, and after flashed kernel by fastboot..I have bootloops, solution?

[Q] values of stock kernel (jb) ?

What are the default values of stock kernel, min & max ghz respectively? And what should be the governor & scheduler for battery saving? And for performance?
Thanks

I tested for a long time 1050, 1100 and 1150 on OmniRom and Cyanogenmod and on Omnirom 1050 caused problems this is why i have removed .
With others ROMs I did not encounter any problem, but it was fast test, thus do not hesitate to indicate what you will meet
I will try it out for omnirom by golden-guy and give feedback

it is impossible on my device to set 1100 or 1150 max, always get reboots
(it doesn´t matter which gov and sched i use)
the kernel works without problems on 100 - 1000, but the responsibility isn´t as good as on builtin kernel (depends on the min freq 100).
very pity that i can´t test this kernel with oc freqs
@Fred6681 btw keep up this good work for all other users

But at PAC-performance we have an extra point at cpu. There you can set how aggressive the decision should be to turn second core off
This is a kernel feature at tenshi-xp's kernel, at your kernel it's not shown... maybe you could ask him what exactly it is.
It is a really nice feature...
