[Q] Droid Razr xt912 w/ t-mobile? - Motorola Droid RAZR

Hello Everyone,
Is possible to use the Razr xt912 with T-mobie USA? If is possible, what Rom should I use? I was reading about GSM patch but I'm not 100% clear. Can someone help?
Thanks

I think it is not possible to use with t-mobile carrier because xt912 released only with VZW and that patch is for converting gsm ROM into the cdma .
That patch will not work to unlock the phone for any network
Thanks!!
Please hit the thanks button if i helped ya in anyways !!!

I think you're mistaken. The xt910 can be used, but not the xt912.

No, You cannot AFAIK. You can use XT912 on any GSM carrier outside US. But in the US, you can only use it on Verizon.
The only way I see it possible is getting your phone unlocked by VZW itself.

Sorry but you cannot ask for a link to that kernel from xda or anybody on here. If you keep asking you will get infractions and a ban if you keep asking. You just have to wait until the forum administer from the site approves of your first post.

CyanogenMod for AT&T LG Optimus G?

What do you think, will the CyanogenMod for AT&T LG Optimus G?
This does not belong in the developer subforum. Development is reserved for releases for someone developing something. This belongs in Q&A. Anyway, to answer your question, there will be CM on the OG. There are pictures of it in the CWM thread.

Horrible post on my side. What I should have said was "Aww man, totally thought this was a release and not a Q!! Thanks for the let down." Much cleaner and got the point across.

Well... I'm not sure what it takes exactly to port the CyanogenMod code over to our device, BUT, I do have a linux machine here that I could use to pull repositories and attempt a compile, if someone could point me in the right directions... I assume it's not as simple as "git codebase, ./configure, make clean all" and get a rom zip out the other side... LOL
It is that easy when the device and vendor repos are there, unfortunately, they aren't yet.
All it takes is
repo init -u https://github.com/cyanogenmod/android.git -b jellybean
then, repo sync
Then, add the links to the sources as a manifest xml in .repo/local_manifest.xml (which you'll have to make yourself in gedit). Just follow the manifest.xml for the format. Then, repo sync again and then . build/envsetup.sh && brunch <insertdevicecodenamehere> and it will generate.

Wouldnt you need the optimus source to make everything work with the nexus source? Or is it just redundant because of their relation?

I installed the Optus Rom. I am taking it today to a Vodafone store for repairs so if you want you can wait to see if everything is ok. The 2.24 Rom for Optus and Vodafone is the same. So hopefully they will not pick it up.
