Hello there, i have a question about the light sensor. I found a romsin which the auto-brightness is blazing fast, but on stock and other roms it is so slow and annoying when it slowly changes the brightness.
Where can i modify the speed of the brightness change?

speed of brightness change!.......learn aosp my friend....android is based on integrations....the more integration done through xml the more fast it gets.......if we use external apk's to perform same function they require to change many more live values which makes it slow.....
this is where custom roms and devs are preferred

Hi there!
Tried to google this but could not find anything. Upon flashing CM10 I discovered an irritating little thing. When the lights dim/darkens, it stutters/lags.. I know there must be a setting that controls a more smooth transition and I was hoping that someone could direct me to that setting

Hi.. I just flashed my GS2 with Super Nexus rom..So far it has impressed me to the core..everything is working properly. Kudos to the developers.
I just have one slight problem with this rom..the colors of all the photos, wallpapers have very very high contrast..it is difficult to look at them..Is there any way to reduce the brightness, contrast of the phone..I tried the default 'adjust brightness', though it reduced the phone brightness, the brightness and contrast of the photos and wallpapers is still very very high..Is there a way to adjust it?
Thanks in advance

I don't know about super nexus but on Samsung based rooms and even usually on AOSP/ AOKP roms there is a setting to change the screen mode. Try changing it to movie which I think is the "dullest"

I find the contrast too be particularly poor in my GSII now; I use navigation/dynamic mode; I guess last rom and kernel update didn't change colors.. I use 4.2.2 PAC rom. So that just be me suddenly realizing... Anything I can change to make it better?
I don't really know if it changes contrast, but you can try an app called "lux", as far as i can remember it had a lot of settings for display
No this is a night brightness app.. Thanks though.
Has anyone ever tested AOSP ROM's to determine if they are capable of the same peak brightness that TouchWiz's "auto-brightness" feature can deliver?
Here are some things we already know.
-) TouchWiz auto-brightness can get brighter than TouchWiz manual brightness.
-) TouchWiz auto-brightness can get brighter than 3rd party auto-brightness apps.
But what about AOSP? I've read somewhere that Cyanogen has tweaked their ROM to deliver the full peak brightness the display is capable of. But does that mean it can get as bright as TouchWiz auto-brightness?
Using Resurrection (4.4-based) and I feel that TW is brighter than this. Just can't stand that horrible bloat though.

Hello guys,
I installed a custom ROM (unofficial Havoc) but it lacks of colours calibration settings that were default in the stock ROM and the blue tint is very pronounced and the problem even with display night mode can't resolve this blue tint as the night mode in this ROM is very strong even with the lowest intensity.
Is there any way to have the .zip of the default display settings calibration or any kind of solution ?
Thanks guys!
