I can't add my google account over Wifi, or check playstore, or youtube or any google app.
Although, google loads from the web browser on my phone, and chrome also works on my laptop.
All other apps including WhatsApp work on my phone, but Playstore, Gmail and all won't work. I get a 'network error' :/
Any ideas to fix this?
I'm on stock Jellybean 4.1 and Siyah Kernal.

Do a factory reset,install custom ROMs...Maybe it's a Sammy firmware bug.

Installed the latest AOKP coming from SHOstock2.1. Google Play fc's immediately. Doesn't show the store at all. Only the stopped responding msg. Tried reinstalling gapps to no avail. Google Play works fine when I restore my SHOstock2 backup. Using siyah 3.1 kernel with both roms. These are the ICS based roms.
Any ideas?

I don't know what "tibu" is but it sounded similar to the Home app for AOKP (trebucket) so I decided to delete the data for that program and reboot and BAM Google play loads fine. Much apprecited. =) I'm at work so I didnt want to do a full wipe and risk a temp brick of my phone. I dont have access to Odin here and I was having all sorts of trouble trying to upgrade to Shostock2.2.
Thanks for the help!

Did ya sychronise ya account all the time from settings? Probably that stopped ya from using googleplay or maybe you try recheck your internet server or modems if can. Hope helps.

I think its better to start from scratch as you are getting some problems.
Start from flashing stock rom via flashtool and then flash any custom rom
Hey Gooperz06
-Did you try to download applications from your pc, to check if without doing manually from mobile, tha applications, gets downloaded?
-Try to set another gmail account to check if works
-When i installed a new ICS rom sometimes (only each time that i open google play) gets me a timed out connection, but then i press try again or refresh and worked
-Try to install gapps again from xrecovery

Yeah... I just flashed to my stock rom and google talk authentication failed...what do i do now?
I'm sorry to say this but maybe your gmail account is buggered or you have done something wrong somewhere
TELL US EXACT STEPS YOU TOOK TO INSTALL SOFTWARE ON DEVICE!!
Flashtool versions? Rom version, official Rom or unofficial
Rooting / trying without root
Stock with seus
Remove sdcard
Boot up without rooting
Sign into google services
Download alogcat from market
Sign into talk
If it fails, post alogcat log here
Maybe we can determine what's broken
Can you access playstore on your pc?
Also
Don't use WiFi hotspot for market as most of them block certain services
Make sure you have android internet Bolt-on and not blackberry
Try to hard reset your modem / router to factory settings (maybe DNS issue)

Hi Guys i recently updated my galaxy s3 i9100 through Odin to official jelly bean 4.2.1 (I9300XXUFMB3), Everything worked fine til today's morning when i tried to get in Google Play it shows that message "No Connection, retry" even if i have a working wifi (tried on other wifi network too), i also noticed that Google Now says "no connection" and my google account is failing to sync !
so i removed it and tried to sign in again but it says "couldn't sign-in" message ;( i tried different google account but i still can't get it to work i tried (wiping cache, dalvik cache, fix permissions, uninstalling play store and google play services Updates...) but nothing works...
DEVS please i need your urgent help since i can't live without Google Apps like Gmail, Play store, Google Now, is it a problem with google servers or what exactly ?
thanks in advance, i would really appreciate any help :good:

Hello guys,
I am experiencing this when I use Google Maps. Scrolling in and out shows these blue artifacts. A picture is attached. It is somehow not possible to use GMaps.
The Device is a Nexus 4, stock ROM (Android 4.4.2), rooted with XPosed (Gravity Box and XPosed GEL settings enabled). GMaps is version 7.7.0.
Any help or a hint to the right direction is appreceated. I have tried to clear cache and App Settings and I also removed the app's updates and reinstalled. Nothing helped. I could not find any help on google.
Thanks!

Maps has been updated a couple of times past 7.7. Might see if the update helps anything. Do you have the same issue when using Maps via your browser of choice?

Its in every map version, even the newest 8.1.
While going maps website with browser it's working.
OK if anytime someone gets in this topic to find an answer to this issue in the future, i found the solution.
the problem was the DPI.
when changing from stock DPI not every DPI is good to work with maps, for example i had 439 dpi and i changed it to 440 dpi now everything works.
all you need to do is uninstalling the maps app, change dpi, reboot phone, and then install maps again and check if this dpi is comfortable.
good luck
