SonyEricsson HBH-200 with XDA II

I was wondering if the above combination works, I believe that the HBH-200 needs the handset profile that is missing from the XDA II.
Has anyone came up with a patch to support this functionality.
I appreciate anyone help in providing a solution for this.
Thank you.
I have the same combination, it works, but sometimes has the bonding problem just like the jabra headset. the solution is to disable bluetooth in the bluetooth option menu, then enable bt headset mode on your today screen and then click on and ok.
you won't be able to see the phone numbers.

Jabra 250 & Dailling a contact without using the Headset

my friend has an xda II & he bought a Jabra 250 BT headset, he have no idea how to use it & moreover i never had BT in any of my phones so both are ignorant regarding BT, now he asked me a question, "How can i dial a contact from my Headset without the use of the phone, is their any SW i need to use?" i tiold him, i have no idea but i will forward his question to this forum, so could someone answer this question pleaaaaaase ?
the point is the right BT profile ... the headset profile doesn't work except during a phone call ... what you need is a "hands free" profile which will deal with all types of system "sounds" ... then you can use MS voice commands s/w ... however, I didn't try this myself, but in theory it should work
I have this combination. I've not checked the groups recently but from personal experience you cannot dial from the headset with the exception of a bolt-on (name escapes me) that will allow you to use the headset button to redial the last number.
I also have Microsoft voice thingy which works well but you need to initiate the call from the pda and then switch it over to the headset once connected. This little bolt on does manage the operation of the bluetooth radio and disables it to save battery after one minute. If you want to initiate a call like this then it is best to kick the bluetooth off first otherwise there is a delay before the headset links up and the person you just called is left hanging around whilst you frantically try to transfer the call to the headset!
Having said that and with all its limitations the two do work well together. One thing I did do based on various comments on this web site was to update my firmware to latest version.
Hope this helps

[Q] Problem with transmission over car bluetooth

Hi there,
I have a galaxy s2 that used to connect (with no problems) with my alpine CDE-126BT
After I messed around with the service mode for a while trying to crank up the volumes, there is no transmitted voice over the call (the other side can not here me when I'm connected to the car's Bluetooth).
I know that if I reboot the phone all the changes that was done in the service mode would reset to the default settings, it seems to revert back default but I still have the same problem.
I also tried other phones with my car's bluetooth and they work just fine.
Any advice??
Thanks,
David.

[Q] (Q)ringtone in bluetooth earphone

Hi guys
I try to explain my problem
I use a plantronics explorer 395
If i set my galaxy s3 to vibrate mode i can't ear my ringttone in earphone on call while on my iphone it's possibile.
So i set my iphone in silent mode, i can ear my default ringtone only in earphone
Is it possible on s3?
Have you tried turning it ON + OFF again??
Some Bluetooth devices work different on phones. Id suggest getting a more upto date earpiece.
I tried also with jabra easygo with same result
Humm not sure then mate. Best off finding someone with the same problem.
Or - Go into a phone shop and ask to try a Jawbone or similar with a more upto date Bluetooth Version. See if that might help.

Temporary solving Problem
Go to PlayStore and download Sound About App
Use that app It has many settings like
Play via Speaker or headset and lot
so use that whenever you want to play via BT headset .

Hey,
I tried this app (I set up Phone call audio: bluetooth mono etc.), but nothing changed: my headset pairing, I can use it to call the last number, end the call, but I don't hear anything on it, and the headset mic doesn't work.
With stock rom it working perfectly, but I wanna to use cyanogenmod...
Any other idea?
Thanks.
