Yes hope someone here can help, have setup synd on Firefox fine, but when trying to sync after a second and nothing synced it just stoppes.
Works fine on my xperia z smartphone but both the beta and latest stable release of Firefox does not sync. What can be wrong?

I'm having exactly the same problem with my Xperia T. After running Firefox Sync nothing happens.
The same account works fine with my Galaxy Tab.

This happened to me as well with the 32GB Wifi one I got. I noticed it would "Sync" (but not really) with the code and another Synced device but not directly with the credentials — it just said it couldn't connect to Sync.
This issue along with the unsticking back, screen flex, dead pixel and bottom edge screen shadow convinced me to return rather than replace it since I use Firefox a lot. Pity.

I am searching for an app that syncs google bookmarks and honeycomp stock browser bookmarks.
Any ideas?
In past i used an app that is called bookmarks to sd. But this is an plugin for dolphin browser and requires dolphin.
It's built into the Tab's settings but at the moment it doesn't appear to be working correctly. Otherwise you could look for Xmarks in the Market but I don't think it's free.

It is weird because it was working great on the Xoom, but when I switched to the Tab only my bookmarks from the 'Other bookmarks' folder in Chrome are syncing. Maybe it was a bug from the Samsung tweaks of Honeycomb

Not working for me either but I am not 100% stock. Is this working for anyone?
Definetly a samsung issue my asus tf worked a charm with bookmarks instantly synced however this device downloaded the lot over night and now only four are showing

Worked fine for me, through several resets, and two different Tab 10.1's this week.
Takes awhile to sync though, it'll show empty for almost an hour, sometimes.
My Chrome bookmarks were synced fine before the latest major update (not the 3MB, the 180MB). But now I have no bookmarks, even though Browser says it's set to sync with Chrome and my Google account. Another thread says that the 3MB is supposed to fix the sync issue, and but the update isn't available to me as of yet.

I thought mine wasn't working either but after about 3 days of waiting all bookmarks had been synced. Then I read in another forum that samsung had throttled the bandwidth for syncs its incredibly slow!

Yes I get constant force closes on many apps and the browser. Seems like a honeycomb issue. Please fix this for ICS google.
I am hoping this is fixed with Flash 11 that just came out. So far so good.
Facebook used to force close on me a few days ago, after a powercycle (reboot) it went away.. so far only XDA app force closes on me, but when i use Tapatalk, it works fine.

I finally rebooted for the first time since receiving the device 7 days ago. I realized that would probably take care of some of the issues.

I'm having force close issues with my Sony Tablet S too. I wasn't getting any when I first got the tablet but ever since the 3.2.1 update I have been. I can't even access the Google Accounts app and sync the device to my google account.
I've started a thread called "Constant force closes since 3.2.1" on the androidtablets forum. I'd post a link but the best I can do is androidtablets (dot) net because this is my first post here at xda-developers.
I plan to take my device to the nearest service center this week so I'll let you know how that goes.

Do you sync your brower bookmarks with your google account? I have the same issues when activating the sync.
I have to say, this is a worrying thing with this Tablet. My other half has an ipad 2, and although it doesn't have flash, the rest of it does work as it should. Whereas the Sony seems to have all these niggly issues with it.
So now I have to weigh up the options - no flash but reliable os, or flash support but seemingly endless problems.
I've just got a nagging doubt about the Sony that if I get one I'm going to end up regretting it and wishing I'd just got a proper ipad instead.
Anyone have a problem free, happy Sony tablet experience?
Love the device... the software is miserable.
1. Social App and the Browser sometimes force close.
2. Zinio is frequently unresponsive and has to be force closed - happens regularly now that I have a few magazines in my library.
3. Stock browser is awefully laggy. This in comparison with my HTC Desire Z running Gingerbread. Try [www techradar com]. Very very slow and generally unresponsive. This is but one example. the lastest has been a laggy Sony app selection website. Oh... Opera often closes with no warning or error.
4. Dammit... Stanard Keyboard just force closed typing this.
5. The text selection is terribly buggy. Often can't select the right spot... the green arrows jump around erractically making the whole experience frustrating. Happens right here on XDA.
6. Predicition isn't't as good as the HTC devices... and they keyboard is not as responsive as the demo unit... either because of a software upgrade or the sony screen protector. Find that keys aren't't registering... most evident on the space bar.
The above isn't't at all acceptable and I'm hoping asoftware upgrade fixes it.
7. We were sold this device (in singapore) as a playsation certified device... and there isn't a store available... bad sony!!!
8. swapping between devices in the remote control app is too slow.
9. The DNLA app is frustrating.... slowt ransfers over wireless network... doesn't handle 90% of the video I have (from HTC and Panasonic) devices. Also clumsy interface... Doesn't even remember prior folder selections.
10. Battery drainage on standby is really mindboggling. Lose about 16% per day. I get about 4 maybe 5 at best out of the device. charging is awefully slow compared to other devices. Typically 3 to 4 hrs to recharge fully (from 14%).
I've taken a lot of time andcare diagnosing andcan't attribute the issues to anything otherthan software.... and this line was me typing at full speed with keyboard lag.
Would appreciate feedback.
Oh... how do I stop the autoreplace from forcing a replacement? I know you can select it but that would save it to the dictionary which I don't want. On the HTCs you simply click the empty space following the word and it's ignored.

That's interesting. I had that problem on my Prime with 3.2; also on a Galaxy Tab with 3.2. My GN with 4.0.2 and Prime with 4.0.3 don't have the problem.
My Prime actually never did sync the browser. It always showed the last sync as the date I set it up and always showed like it was trying to sync it. Got ICS installed and minutes later sync was good to go.
Ditto, no problems with sync on ics.

Hi,
I have 2 android devices (HTC ONE X (Phone) And Asus Transformer TF101 (Tablet)). Both have chrome beta on.
I have nver been able to get both devices to sync properly. There can only ever be one devices synced. Both devices are rooted. When flashing a new rom, and if I dont wipe when flashing then the device stays synced. If I wipe when flashing,then it moves over to the other device.
Example -
HTC ONE X - recently flashed a a new update, and it has synced fine... I can see my bookmarks...
ASUS TF101 - Been sat there on same flash for a while, and has stopped syncing.. It has no bookmarks at all. If I was to bookmark one on there, I would then loose my bookmarks on the phone.
On the browser on desktop, it hasn't synced any new ones. It has synced one before from when I was flashing an old device, and the tab was left... I have one book mark in there, which isn't on my phone or tab anymore!!
I tried to do it by making a folder inside the mobile folder called tabs, but that didnt help... It still only tried to sync the "mobile" bookmarks folder..
Any help on this would be great!

OK for starters I am very well versed in Android. I've been around the block for a long time and I've built my own roms, mods and basic apps. But I am stumped.
Now for record I am rooted and running the newest nightly from CM. (Not that it matters since this issue happens on every nightly). I'm using the Goo GAPPS12122013. I have two Google accounts signed in. Me and the wife, since I used her Nexus 7 credit to buy some apps. Dual accounts works great BTW it also allows syncing of instant uploads which is a plus.
My device is signing me out of stuff. The two culprits is YouTube and TapatalkHD. No joke YouTube will work flawless for a day or 2 and then ill open it and there is no user account signed in. So I have to do it manually. Then TapatalkHD says I'm running an unauthorized copy and must buy it. Nothing even a data wipe for the app fixes it. I have to go into the play store, uninstall it, watch it change to 'bought' then reinstall it and it works fine.
I don't get it, this never happened on my N7 on any rom not even the Gnex does it. All have dual accounts as well.
Any ideas as to what causes this? My Gmail, G+, Drive... they all don't seem to be affected. One commonality is that this issue may arrive after a crash/hardreset occurs. I find it odd though that its just these two every time.

I think it's a bug with the latest YouTube app, it started happening as soon as I updated to 4.3.9.
I have it in YouTube as well, currently stock rom
OK excellent, I thought I was going crazy lol..
Any ideas about TapatalkHD besides the fact that it's a super buggy app?

I don't have quite the same problem but every other dayish (probably) the YouTube widget has the information as if i wasn't signed in, then every time i click on YouTube it says 'Signing in' quickly and the widget goes to my stream. It's never really bothered me but it points to it being something stock.
I am running stock 4.2.2, have other users and have YouTube updated to latest version.

Yes my you tube app is stuffing me around to, but for me it all started after the new 4.2.2 update laggy home screen and laggy everything really . will wait it out.

Same issue with Youtube here on both my Nexus 7 and HTC One X (both on 4.2.2). Seems to be a bug with the newest Youtube version.
