Padawan JB v2 rom oc @ 1512Mhz smartassv2 gov / sio scheduler
8132 score - CM 9.1 - 1.8ghz - Performance & sio - flapp's latest.
However, I usually run at 1134 and would take the pepsi challenge with any overclocked JB rom as far as responsiveness, speed, and battery life.
I need to try and lower my clock speed and see if it helps any. My scores are messed up due to lack of speed in sd-card reading/writing. Very low. In the 100-200 range for both

What's the point of benchmarking with a mount hack?
What's the point comparing scores of the most unreliable benchmark, except for knowing whose e-magic-stick is the longest?

my maximum score was 2004 on kang cm7 after deleting some system apps and tweakig it by myself. my usual scores are around 1900-1950 with many apps on it. i will try with the booster too to see the limits and tell you!

Depends on your firmware. The older builds use back plus home, the newer ones use home plus power, cyanogenmod uses its own screencapturing method.
*Do'oh! The quadrant scores really make me miss the CM7.1 nightlies. Okay a question fellas. Do you find a positive correlation between your Quadrant Score and the performance of flash in browser e.g. Dolphin HD or Maxthon etc

My device is SHW-M110S running Gingerbread 2.3.5. The screen capturing for my device is back button + power button but when in quadrant it goes back to quadrant menu. I also tried other button combo.
In normal mode at 1.0 Ghz I got 2,000'ish score and in overclocked at 1.3Ghz I got 3,000'ish score.
I'd really like to screen cap the results.

Running Task 14 overclocked to 1400 here. Couldn't get me to change ROMs for almost anything. Unless it was to an updated Task ROM. I'm running some of pershoots kernel stuff too.
Don't really care about benchmarks myself either. Just thought I'd run the quadrant to see what I got compared to what you got.
As long as it's stable and doesn't lag that's all I care.
Task has always taken VERY good care of me in all aspects of what I want, and need. So that's why I'm so partial to his stuff and suggestions of what to run with his ROMs.
Thanks mate for something to do at least for a few minutes.
EDIT: Just noticed both suggested ROMs are old Task ROMs too. LMAO

HTC stock kernel quadrant 2500
HTC stock kernel antutu 5200-5400
DSB's kernel quadrant 1700
DSB's kernel antutu 5600
SO my question is, how can stock be that much faster in quadrant? I know benchmarkas generally dont matter but thats an 800 point diffrence. DO you guys feel that stock is faster? And how come antutu doesnt reflect that big of a diffrence?

This is not all that much a "development" thread as a collective piece. I would like to see from you all if the drivers posted on the front page actually have any affect on our device....or maybe I am just crazy.

Wow, I notice a huge difference in certain applications. Most notably scrolling through apps in the play store. It used to be ultra choppy, now it is bearable.
Here is a zip that'll flash on the Touchpad:
http://www.mediafire.com/?cnbbz06kl2mv6ix
As always, before flashing make sure to backup or be ready to reflash your rom.
I am running AOKP MS5, if that makes any difference.
Edit: Just noticed he had a zip for other devices attached to the post.
Moved to general, please continue.
Using the driver from the OP, I have the following observations;
2d is MUCH smoother, not my imagination, especially when panning between home screens.
Before, a few times a day it would be unresponsive to touch when coming out of sleep, more likely if it had just recently gone to sleep. Usually this was resolved by hitting the power button twice, only rarely requiring a hard reboot. After installing the 213 drivers 2 days ago, this has yet to happen. If it matters, I use pattern lock.
Haven't found any new bugs yet. Tonight I'll try the new 218 drivers and run a new benchmark.
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Tapatalk 2
