If playstore says you can't install in your country here is the apk. Download and install as normal apk.

it is easier than Swype to type, but I wish the copy paste gestures from Swype were there. But, guess I should ask Google for this

Thanks for the mod/apk! Its awesome. Im trying to insert this into my ROM as a single and default keyboard but it always says Keyboard has stopped working. Is there anyway i can embed this into rom before installing the ROM? FYI it works fine when i install this normal way.

Where did you put it? Try in data/app, instead of system/app.

Downloaded using a VPN lol.
Much better than Samsung keyboard . I did notice that you can download emoji as language, have not been able to find how to use it...

It worked
But the .apk could be installed only after I used Titanium Backup to Force Uninstall the built in Keyboard.

it installed with no trouble for me. make sure to mount system first.

I put it on my SD card, and just used My Files to go to it and install

You can get the latest keyboard from This Thread from XDA member defiant07 so say thanks on his thread, and also check out the link to information about hidden themes and easter eggs contained in the app

I was having same problem and couldn't find any answers, but then I saw my mistake, "Google Keyboard.apk" , instead of "Googlekeyboard.apk"
Never put any app in the system/app folder with a space in its name. and don't forget the lib files.

Can't believe after 2 years and there was no reply to this answer.
