I don't care what the ROM looks like as I'm going to get the PROBEX Windows 7 theme on it anyways, but I want the best performing rom that is released and I honestly have no idea about proper testing methods to go thru each and every one to find the one with best performance, and I imagine someone has already done this and would be able to come in here and tell me
Thanks guys.
If you have sprint you are in the wrong forum. Read links below.
? I thought the rom mattered on which type of phone you were using. and the HTC Touch Pro = Raphael?
I guess I needed to put this in the CDMA sub forum? Mod pls move this thread there for me then. Thanks.
i know this question has been asked a few times already but there hasn't really been a direct answer on if/WILL it be done or has been done that i have found yet!! I'm wondering if there is any possible way to get sense 3.5 rosie on sense 3.0 or 2.1?? Or even just port the notes and tasks and quicklaunch app/widgets to it!? those apps are my fav. part of the 3.5 rom lol! doing so would give us a 3.5 feel with the 3.0/2.1 features(4g , more customization, more stable, ect.) will someone pls help me out and answer this the best you can. i know alot of ppl wonder the same thing but just won't post anything!
thanks for your time guys!!
Do you have an HTC Phone ? If yes, which one ?
Yes, it can be ported to other devices (and has been already).
Hello,
I know HTC has sent out a list of which phones will get the upgrade to ICS, but it seems like they completely ignore the Flyer or View...they didnt state whether they will upgrade it or wont upgrade it.
Anyone know of any rumors or something? If it gets the upgrade great, if it doesnt i wanna know so I can start looking elsewhere.
Somebody with over 600 posts here should know better than to ask this question, instead of doing a search, or just browsing around for a couple minute. This exact topic has already been discussed at great length in other threads.
Does Anyone know of some good instructions on how to port a rom to the Amaze? I did it with my Desire HD, but I haven't been able to find anything on it for the Amaze So if anyone knows of some good instructions or is even willing to help me, That would be super awesome!
I have an Atrix 2 (GSM). I am wondering if anyone could help us out over there.. I can't post this question there because nobody there know's how to do this lol. We are trying to get ics on the Atrix 2 and porting aokp from the Droid 3 works near flawlessly. Everything works except for calling/SMS/data the usual, well obviously because it is a cdma device and the Atrix 2 is a GSM device. These ports are stable enough for daily use if only we could figure out a way to convert them to take advantage of the GSM radio...

In my google travels trying to figure out how to get our gsm working for our amaze cm9 I found some stuff that may help you.. I haven't played with the atrix enough to know which part may be useful, but this one might be a little cryptic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1445607 while this one may or may NOT apply at all http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1623640
And something that I know will help if you haven't done it, make sure the lines of the build.prop that point to your /system/lib files have been properly changed, an example would be "rild.libpath=/system/lib/libril-qc-qmi-1.so" for our phone..
I have found TONS of info out there(none that helps me) that may help you get this working, rather than search thru xda try searching google with something like this " site:forum.xda-developers.com getting gsm working android" that will only search xda, but then you could add things like "-htc" to remove results you DON'T need(like that would remove anything with HTC in it).. <-- that is the best way to search, you NARROW down your results till you find something helpful!
I have no idea if any of this will help, but good luck! I still have to check to see why we can't get our radio working with our cm9 port..
