Looks like phone, yes, but for some reason roms with aosp dialer and contacts still have tw call interface.
Too much of a xda n00b to post in the dev section, but my contact pictures are not showing up in either the people app or the messaging app. Usually the picture would be the contact's Facebook profile pic but nothing shows up. Not even for me on my contact card. There is an option to change the picture, but the only choices are from gallery or file browser. Yes I have the Facebook app & it is synced. Any help would be really appreciated

Doesn't that link with your contacts on your Gmail.

Search on the market for "Facebook contact sync" and look for contacts+ it works pretty good. It tries to take over a lot of functions but just pick your default each time and you never have to deal with it again
liquid thunderbolt ics
Thanks, I downloaded that from play store & synced it & it works pretty decent. Still doesn't display pictures in messaging app tho?...

liquid thunderbolt ics
Yes, sorry. The native messaging app

That's weird it worked for me. Are you on jmod or just liquid?
liquid thunderbolt ics
Just the liquid

O maybe it only worked for me cause I'm on JMOD. Keep trying other fb sync apps I guess. Or maybe that one won't do it by linking

Is it worth switching to JMOD?

I'll have to try that app because that is the one thing I hate about ICS on my TB is that it won't sync any of my FB pictures. It says that it is in the accounts list but it doesn't do anything
Is there any chance the native SMS/MMS app will ever get fixed to do group texting. I know there are apps like GoSMS and handcent but I would prefer to use the native Android app.
I am currently stuck using Verizon's Group Texting and and it works better then all the rest of the apps available but it's real fugly!!!
Just hoping someone has some news on this Android issue. There is a very long blog on the Google Android site about this issue and it appears Google is just ignoring it.

Hey guys actually i wanted to ask using root uninstaller what if i delete the stock messaging app of ics and get some nice messaging app from play store? Will i face any problems ?
Sent from my MT11i using xda premium
You will likely have problems if you remove the stock messaging app. I think functions like MMS messaging use it. There is no need to remove it, you can still use third party messaging apps.

Is there a way to support emoji? Like with Twitter and all? My wife and I have a flipping fun time messaging back and forth when I'm gone and would like to have emoji outside of messaging (which messaging does have emoji). I tried a few apps but none worked or required more downloads (such as GoKeyboard). So any suggestions? I'm running the newest 4.2.1 SlimBean ROM
