I have a 100% stock Evo LTE and for the last few weeks there hasn't been any locations in my location history of Google Maps. Previous to that it was working correctly. I have "Location History" enabled in the settings. Anyone else have this issue?

I had an issue with the latest OTA and even some stock based Roms not updating my latitude either after the last update. Ended up using an app called backitude from the market that pushed updates.
It started working for me again when I installed the last Meanbean ROM.

After Clearing the Data for Maps and making sure all of my settings were enabled I can report that it is working correctly again. Thanks to everyone who replied with advice.

Just installed the rooted GB update with sense. Problem is that google voice installs but wont set itself up to handle my voicemail. In the menu>call settings I can't select it as my voicemail service. Anybody else experiencing problems?

No problem here.

Do you mean you get to the point where it says something like "call #(whatever your number is)' and you click that and it tells you that it didn't work?
If so, if you click on the help link (or go to the URL) it will explain how to to it; basically, you have to go to the web site for GV, go to settings, select your mobile phone, and under advanced settings enable voicemail.
Ill try that later

My phone shows the syncing icon 24/7. I have rebooted and also checked which apps are syncing. I don't have any custom apps that sync, only the Google apps. Under settings, it shows gmail and everything syncing but they just never finish. Anyone have this glitch?

Did you install the update? I think the update is suppose to fix this. I haven't installed the update but I have also not seen this happen on my device yet.
No, I haven't updated. I was trying to avoid because I don't want to miss out on root, but I guess I'm going to have too because this is killing my battery.

LOL....i just sent HTC another email about this.....i constantly get the SYNC icon in the NOTI bar....and in "accounts and sync" its not showing anything syncing....
Well I just went into system updates and updated the HTC software only. It fixed the problem so if I don't get root in the next three weeks this phone is going back to Sprint.

Too funny. You sent an email about an issue they already released a fix for.

This worked for me. If you created an HTC Sense account it's set to sync whenever anything changes (Push). Go to Settings-Accounts & Sync- click on HTC Sense and change the update schedule to something less ridiculous like an hour or more instead of push. Hope that helps.

If you guys haven't applied the updates then I wouldn't send HTC an email. The problem as far as I know has been resolved with the updates.
Anybody else having issues getting location? Maps and other apps aren't getting location. I can get GPS now and then but only in the very open. Seems like I can't get agps or network location.

I get a GPS lock in my living room within 5 seconds. No issues at all getting location.
Hmmm wonder why I'm having issues then

I had location nailed down before the map loaded <2-3 seconds. I am also on WiFi at my parents house.
Under settings>location I have all the boxes checked.

I can't get the weather to find my location I think I have a bad GPS chip I've tried resetting and everything but if I go to Verizon to switch it out I hope they don't try to get rid of my unlimited data

I did something similar and all of a sudden after a reboot it asked for permissions to use my Google account. After that everything has been working peachy.

If you mean the icon next to your 4g icon, that isn't the GPS icon. That reticle stays there and does nothing.
GPS failing during Strava
When I start a Strava OR Endomondo cycling tracking the GPS seems to stop tracking during the ride. If I wake the phone to read a text or something it seems to come back. Is it possible it is being put to sleep by OS or Sense even though the app is still asking for data through the API? Otherwise it locks quickly and works as intended.
I used voodoo to backup my root, updated to 4.1.2 and then re-rooted... working fine. Then, just yesterday, all of a sudden, my phone has started announcing who is calling and texting me. "Text from XXXXXX" "Call From XXXXX".
I checked to make sure I dont have driving mode on, which I do not. I have no idea how to turn this off. I have not downloaded any new apps.
Anyone have a clue? Thanks in advance.

I'd first check out the accessibility section of the phone settings to see if the Talk Back service is enable. It's possible if you accepted the OTA that your carrier may have enabled this feature by default.
Secondly, I'd check to see if you have your account set to auto update your downloaded apps? It's possible if you have your account set to update apps automatically that an app that you have on your phone was updated and now provides the ability to speak aloud who is calling and texting by default.
My talk back service is off, however my atuo update is on. Is there anyway to see which apps were just recently updated?

It depends on if you have Titanium Backup or not. If you don't have Titanium Backup, then you can look at the main page of each suspect app individually from within the play store and it should tell you the last time it was updated at the end of the description section of the app.
Do you know if I download it know, will it still tell me? Or would I would have had to had it installed at the time of the app update?

I found the culprit. It was an app called Mr Number. Its for call blocking calls and texts. Thanks for all the responses
